Since the starport is back down this morning, I'll ask this here. I have an issue on my server where I'm using the flhook anticheat plugin (v1.0) and Cannon's player control plug in (v0.3). When I use /chase on an account that is a FLhook superadmin, the character is detected as cheating by FLAC. I thought admins were exempt in FLAC.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I need to configure or are the two not compatible?

Why would you use FLAC and FLHook?

FLAC and FLHook aren't fond of each other, chose 1 and stick with it.

Just use FLhook

Sorry, I shouldn't have abbreviated at the end of my post. I forgot FLAC was another mod out there... I'm referring to the Anticheat Plugin v1.0 for FLHook by w0dk4. I'm using it as my speed anti cheat, and I'm also using Cannon's Player Control v0.3 plugin as well.

When I'm using /chase, the anticheat plug in sees that as a cheat on my admin account and doesn't allow that to work.

Are either of you using Cannon's player control plugin? If so, how fo you have it working with the anticheat plugin from w0dk4? If you are not using Anticheat Plugin v1.0, then what are you using for speed anticheats?

FLAC isn't a mod, it's a server hooking program.
Anti-cheat is not only for speeding, other stuff aswell. (Although I know the easy way to bypass it )
I think I had trouble with this before...
Can't remember how I fixed it.

Personally, I've got both plugins running on the UK server besides other anticheat software, and I haven't had any problems with it. Check the cheaters log to see what you were kicked for, maybe that'll offer some insight.

There's nothing written to the cheaters log. I have both Anticheat 1.0 and Player Control .3 and when I use /chase *blam* Death: <chrname> was killed by an admin. Nothing logged at all.

Out of curiosity, what version of FLHook are you using? I have 1.6.0, but I've seen reference to a 1.6.1, but can't find it for download (and not the 88Flak version).

I tried changing the priority of Cannon's player control mod to be higher than the anticheat, but that pretty much did nothing

Are you running CD (cheaters death) as well ?

No I am not at the moment. The only other anitcheat I have installed is Cannon's Mining plugin (v.5)

Yeh, it'll catch you for speed modding and give you the boot. Are you using cheaters death and, if so, have you designated your account to be an admin account?

The mining plugin isn't an anticheat plugin - its just what it says - a mining plugin. I believe it does contain some basic mining anticheats though. If you're not using CD, I can't see why you're being kicked? Make sure you use the FLHook console to set "setadmin *NAME* superadmin".

If you still have problems after that, I'm not really sure whats up. Add me on Skype or PM me and I'll try to help you out with the config files.

Not sure if I told you - every few minutes battleships would explode.
Fighters got incinerated on the spot.
Your health just gradually... Dropped...
Then it says you were killed by an admin.
With /chase it also did that.
My fix was: Turn of anticheat.
However, for obvious reasons... That isn't reccomended.
Ask Josh or Cannon for the old GC anticheat settings.
