Greetings to all captains viewing this document. First of all I would like to say that I thank you for choosing to fly for the Liberty Navy, we are honored to have such men and women who want to serve their country by flying with the Liberty Navy as a capital ship captain.
Flying a Liberty Navy ship is not for everyone, it is only for those that are willing to put in the hard work it takes to be able to withstand attacks form groups such as: Outcasts, Lane Hacker, Liberty Rogues, Xenos, and the Rhienland Military. Going up against anyone of these groups is a challenge even for the best pilots. Some of your new duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Standard systems patrols (New York, Texas, Colorado, California, Yukon, New Hampshire, System ****, Ontario, and any Liberty border world).
• Taking out pirate gunboats and plus (gunboats,cruiser,battleships), we do not except our capital fleet to be attacking fighters.
• Escorting certain ships when needed

As well, a Naval ship captains must obey orders given by members of Primary Fleet.

This is for all pilots flying a warship such as: Liberty Dreadnaught, Liberty Assault Carrier, Liberty Battlecruiser, and the Liberty Siege Cruiser. Capitans flying the Liberty Gunboat as well may notify the Liberty Navy of the presence by uploading the information here (it Is not necessary to do this if piloting a Liberty Gunboat).

It is mandatory that all ships have the above information uploaded to the Registry (to the specs of their ship). A captain may also include other information of their choosing, but without this information the Registry can't be fully up to date.

After you ship has been officially added to the Registry you will be given a "Primary Duty". The primary duty is what is excepted out of your ship, such as (but not limited to): Guarding Zone 21, Protecting Liberty traders in the California system, protect the borders of Liberty.[color=#FFFF33]An order from a primary fleet member will override you current duty

I am not sure as to why the LNS-Oregon has been ordered to be grounded, and I would appreciate it if you could tell me.

However, I am also contacting you regarding the LNS-Oregon's history.
Some time ago, the LNS-Oregon was out on patrol. She was caught in an extremely terrible Dark Matter Wave. Most of the crew managed to survive, and once the wave had passed, they were able repair the engines enough to creep back to Norfolk shipyard for repairs.
Since that time, the LNS-Oregon has been inactive. The previous captain was lost in the dark matter wave, and the Oregon has been sitting in dry dock, waiting for a new captain.

Well the time has come. I, Ian Daniels, have been assigned as the new captain of this ship. The ship has been refitted and repaired and is entirely and completely fit for duty, as well as her crew. I have not yet received orders on the equipment she will be outfitted with, so for now, we await our orders.

Sheilding:standard Cruiser Graviton sheilding due to the forts size she has a total of 4 primary generators and 4 auxury generators in event of battledamage she can lose 70 precent of her sheild arrays and stil lmaintain sheilding as esentally her "auxulry" generators are another set of primarys

Crew; anywere from 600(minimal due to size and systems complexityl)to 3k(with barracks moduels ) typical Crew is one infantry battallion (with armor support and armorys /vehicle depots dependant on mission ordered) and crew totaling around 1,650 personell

class notes: when the commanders of the respective ground branches needed starships they had allways went to the navy untill the formation of starborn marine expidationary units and army"starforces" mobilized to better defend liberty from her wartime agressors each branch(army marines and lsf)wanted new ships as the navy was upgradeing they took the time to design and eventually build the "fortress" class Battlecruisers amoung other designs which either failed or were cut due to funding or with the new line of gunboats droped due to lack of military effectivness and thusly redesigned and launched as the "springfeild" class gunboats(see respected artiecle).

The fortress class cruisers are a new breed of starships able to either function in "rank and file" fleet formations or like the fort louisbourg herself operate at least semi autonoumsly the key to this flexibilty is the modular design of each ship be it the Bridge or the enginerring houseing it can be replaced within 24-48(wartime conditions if situation demands it) hours with an entirerly new unit be it more armor or a more "recon" heavy "stealthed" one the fort louisbourg was one of originally 4 ships(2 are on indefinate hold and the most imedate ship CB-20 is not yet named and only 20 precent complete).

the problems with the class like all new ships was fundingte end cost would eventually lead to a"signifigant delay" as stated by the Department of Defence of an Assault carrier,a delay that was deemed unaccepctable,but the flagship of the class and testbed for all new systems the Fort louisbourg made it to deployment status.the captian of that vessel along with some of her designers were quoted saying "shes big, shes mean and shes damn versitile we can do allmost any mission a battlecruiser would be suited for and even some you wouldent expect them to be used in"
