(Its not a wall of text. Only more details about the competition and the required signature)

I really need your help.

I started a new ,,carrier,, and Ive decided to give my garthered goods from my previous to the one (3) who helps me.

CHANGED PRIZING:

I make a little competition for you all who can make signatures. You can take your time, so I wont decide till 7 days possibly so one week is up minimum. Beside I already found mayn good version I will expend the prizing:
Will pick (possibly more than)3 places. the 1st GETS a salvager frigate (worth at least 110 mills-) OR 77 MILLS credits.
All other artist, will receive a brand new conference gunboat, or 33million credits/ applied signature
Could seem low but I have no more, and the whole prize can be garthered by one artist-creator aswell so go for it. Plus I would like to donate some symbolic compensation to everyone who makes a really tasty, stylish sig for me. Thats why I will pick more than just 3 winner. Ofc there can be only one 1st place, but all accepted artworks will grant some minimal cash prize ( 33mills or a conf. Gunboat)

Or just help me for the good spirit-but you will receive the prize than aswell.


note:One sign maker can be chosen for several places so if you make alternatives and more than one is applied than you can be 1st-2nd-3rd in one person and could garther all prizes.

here is what I need:
a well-designed unique signature.

the theme must be one or mix of the following, quite stereotypichal templates so cannot be huge prob:

-lunacy, my character seems to be mad, so the sign can show it
- blood, it looks great and you can improve the sign with it, plus the char is addicted to it
- blades, razors, edged melee weapons
- grey-haired man with blades or without em. His face cannot be show so must be hided with shadows or his hair, maybe mask but only if its really fancy-stuff. Dressed in black,grey, colourless clothes, sometimes bloody, or dirty. (no matter if its anime or other pic)
- graves
- grey mist, or shadows
- green glow, or raidioactive lookalike
- any good interpretations about the mentioned themes

YOu can (but its far from a must) add a picture of a pirate transporter-but ya have to work with it. remove the rogue signs and replace em with the metal or the gloomy graverobber logo. Its red/orange colours must be changed to grey-, black- or radiactive green.

It can be enchanted with the name of: Grey , with any well designed letter types-spooky or gothic style f.e.

you can add one of the following quotes aswell if you wish:
-quotes sent to finalists-

please pick a good text format if you use any of em.

you would also use this logo. Pick the metal or the gloomy one, or re-colour/enchant em.
The sogbutton can be re-coloured and used up as side buttons up to maximum of 7 for further links.

I could also use 7(!!!) player status bars-more likely status buttons for links. or what is it called. the thin, colourful lines under signatures:

:with the graverobber logo(the metallic or the sogbutton), and name on each bar: (with text:Grey,Red,Blue,Purple,Green,White,Black. only the text can be the matching colour to the word, and the bar should be grey possibly with some good pattern. You can add blood drops on them on various places-only a few drops, there is no need for ship picture or anything else just the graverobber logo and the Name -you can possibly customise the letter type on each bar, but it must be read-able)- I could pay 33 million credits for this job aswell
Colour Grey, ya can use some blood on it. he-he.->


If you have a good avatar pic or animated gif when you designing my sign I can offer 20 additional millions for it).

overall prizing:

1st place:~ 111 mills (or 77 mills in instant credits)

all other places- can pick a conference gunboat or 33mill creds.

Well, If You could make both texts bigger, and its a little noisy(true it doesnt mean I dont like noisy stuff)...

Maybe the -Grey- text could be grey with more rustic format- but I really love the look of the quotes handwriting.

thanks for it. Argh I love it. You are right this is a great job, but lets make a few changes...if its possible:

The logo what you used the sog one- is a button so id prefer swap for the metal one on this sig. Or just leave out the graverobber logo. (if you pick to use it put in into the middle semi-transparently, between the guy and his name) -but I love the bloody patterns around this small button...maybe if you put it lower into the same corner...

I would ask you to remove the text about the ship names and lets pick a quote instead. (like the Death is only the begginning of a beautiful friendship, or : ,,You say it is a game? The problem is that... I do NOT beleive in Life before death...). those shipnames are up for the player status bars, not for the sig, otherwise I love the text format and shape of the stuff)

Colour the name- grey. To make it similar to the cloth of the character- that would make a balance in colours. And if its possible make bit (jsut a small bit) smaller..

maybe a blade (a razor f.e.) would look good on the opposing side of the character-but its just an idea.

So a little positioning and colouring and it could be easily in the chosen 3.

No idea what a Blade /Razer is. But if it is a ship.. I don't see where I can put it. Second- The Grey "Grey" I think dampens the overall look, unlike the white - I have also made the logo metallic, it fits so perfectly =P I am willing to follow through with what you want but the White "Grey" and the Logo i think look good-

I know you really want the Grey Color emphasized, but with white the letters stand out artistically alot more - Personally i think the middle picture is the best- but this is your sig... It really boils down to the fact that Grey is a Artistically challenging color...

Yeah the ,,white-grey,, is okey. i like the middle one aswell, but the only prob (even if the man was enlightened) that, his cloth seems to be white on that...
Ahh a question: Is it possible to see his hands? I mean the one what wields the knife? If not, than no probs. Im jsut cautios for a version when we see his hands)

So I think lets pick the one, with Grey text and the man in shades.-> Maybe we can swap the letter type of the text: Grey? you are right when ya say this text looks better in white, so Lets get a letter type what looks better in grey.-or lets pick the one with the white text, but put a few only a few, bloodsdrops on it. Maybe my prob is that it seems to be too...clear... hehe
I would like a few more changes. Smaller ones.: like the logo should be moved a little lower to the closest corner- just to not hide the guy.
The text: Grey should be smaller a bit, and little more on the left side. Just a little.

Otherwise I think it is close to be ready.

Ahh and the blade is a sharp thing waht you can use to kill or cut things. like a knife. The razor is an even sharper item, what barbers use to shave people (or psycho-killers to make the killin even more bloody).

Otherwise I think there is no need for a blade in this pic.

Logo to right corner, Grey text to left side a little more and I think we can wait the end of the week to see the resoult.
Unless you wanna make some alternatives to try get more than 1 pos.
But I really like this one so I think with a few minor changes only the work of other authors will tell its position in the competition.

Right, heres one of the ideas I had, just putting it out here to see if it's close to something youd like.

Hell yeah. It looks great. Maybe the mask is a little too ...white.... otherwise hell yeah.

Note: If anyone have time I am waiting for more suggestions/alternatives from a single creator. As I mentioned it is possible to garther all the prizes by 1 creator if more than 1 signatures are chosen by me from him.

And yeah Serpentis I like the rusty sides, Maybe if the quote would be a little lower from the pic, and ya'd let a little space between the name and the logo.

I liked the redstuff border, but I like the new boreder even more.
In the left corner there is a stuff what starts from the border and ends in the picture. Remove the red side and make it look like in the wery 1st pic. so use the new border and leave the rusty spade or somthing there(I dont know what it could be, without the red thin border thing what removes its broken edge its better)
or you can leave it out, and put one of my precious razors in that corner...

Calego:Excellent stuff, I like that misty line. I would like you to remove the White text, the big grey text is enough. Possible you could add a Ghost-like P-trans to the other side. But it is not a must. Maybe the graverobber logo could be higher a little to see its lower part. its not a prob is we see less form those knives. You can possibly add a line what could look like a wisper in the wind: the quote with the ,,Game?,,..the only problem is... I don't beleive in life-before-death...

Serpentis: Ahh I was sure you make excellent art. Okey here is some backup.: the one with the green glow is almost ready, just use the graverobber logo Without blood on the little skully thing. The shovels can stay bloody.

the new one with the hand is awesome aswell. a few changes would be welcomed either. Please put some backgroud effect on the name: Grey. just to make it a little more visible.Dunno maybe some more blood behind the name Grey on this version. But no need for huge things Id like to make it easily readable. Lets leave out the mask from it- and maybe put the logo into its place- so swap the mask with the logo in the Red version.

Edit: PLUS could you please use the wery 1st border on the newest red sig? Just to make it different from the glowing green theme- you could leave out the item in the left corner, just use that broken rusty edge....


I see now it will be wery hard to pick the 3 best works so I will change my offer. And prizings to make it even more correct towards the designers and artist who helps me.

Here we go; this is my lil attempt.

Serpentis: only 2 last change and yar done with 2 competitors:
on the second pic, I would like you to put the logo int the middle line of that (the right) side. Just keep equal distance between the logo and the upper and lower borders(possibly the logo can be minimally bigger). Its just hurts my eyes that its closer to the bottom line.
Plus i'd really like to see that red designed one with the rusty border from your wery first attempt. With this 2 change Ill be statisfied.

Birdtalon: cheers for started helping me out. I REALLY like your work. (my Gf voted on yar sign already).
But I'd need a few changes form ya.
1.please remove teh green glowing from the guy's eyes. I like it, but unfortunately my char has no light in his cyber-eye.

I screwed yar art but marked a few stuff.
Please try to make the blade slimmer at the marked spot close to the handle. But keep it symetric at both edge.
I love the quotes text format. Maybe you could remove some of the shining from the top of the blade what the man holds and could make it a few pixels...thinner at the point.
I think thats all as first wiev...

Changes:

I removed the green eyes.
Removed the hand and arm, added some blood in it's place.
I made the dagger narrower at the hilt like you said.
I shuffled the text around a little, there was an arrow pointing up from it on your image, I didn't know if you wanted it moved but I did so anyway.
I thinned the blade and removed a little of the blood, now it looks like a thin jagged point. (It is a little thin, I could broaden it again a bit if you wanted, but that's your decision)

ahh wery good. only a few stuff remained: plese broaden the blade, only its point should be this thin. remove the blood from it (I mean the small blade in the hand of the guy) and turn down the shining on it (just let a small shimmer I think)

And I would like you to colour the cloth of the guy a lot greyer. it is white with shades now. It should be grey or dark grey with shades.
Otherwise we are almost there.

Ahh and a possible thing: could you re-design the point of the huge dagger-border to make it look even slimmer?

Hundra: good job. I like the changes. I need a few more of em: double the size of the text of the qoute and the size of ,,grey,, a little. Otherwise its almost done and I like it.

Revan: master, we both know that its too mutch of blood now okeyokey cannot be enough of that, but still.. okey the feedback: reove the creed guy, and put the razor on that position. make it to be beautiful, shiney, silver, clean. MAximum 1 blood-drop can be on the blade. I really want to see finally a sig with a beautiful razor, and your sig is close to it, just remove some blood and the assasin, and put the razor in the pos of the guy. Clean the Grey-name, possible can enchant the letters to make its borders look like they wold be sharp...Im not sure its understandable. I really liked the oroginal 1st attempt, but we are on our way to somthing what is a lot more about my taste. Thanks.

Dusk:welcome in my topic. Really amazing job. If you could make a few changes, I would be really grateful. I would like you to make the face of arthas (if it was him before becomin grey) covered with more shadows. just make it darker. not the skin tone but the overall image. The colour of the hair is perfect only the face should be a little-less-seamable.
Ahh and possibly the gravestone...well its wery good, but it would be perfect if you coul put the metallic graverobber logo in the position of the winged skull. You can keep the wing, but swap the skull to the sog-button (what ya used as watermark) or the metallic sog-logo. And cheers for your help.

I still miss somthing with the picture of a modified P-trans (It should be a littel re-coloured to be more Grey-themed instead of the red rogue design. The rogue emblems must be swapped with the metallic logo of the graverobbers (not the button but the metal logo with shovels).

Plus razors. I really need signatures with razors aswell.
Search on SweeneyTodds silver razors or just look at Revans sig and try to find blades like that expandable razor. They must be shiney and sharp.

We still ahve plenty of time. Ill pick the sigs on Sunday. So take your time.We have plenty of it.

Welcome Mao, it is pretty. Finally one sig, with P-trans.
I would like you to remove the vampire masquareda face. I doesnt like it at all.
You should colour back the front symbol (the rising sun on the nose of the p-trans to bloody-red, and swap the rogue symbols to my grave-robber logo (the metal one is the best for a ship) or if its inpossible just remove the rogue sign from it. MAybe put the ship pic a lille lower, resize it to make bigger, and put my name in the pos of the Vamp face instead of it. Ahh and change the colour of the Grey text to Grey- possibly light grey.

I love that blade on the bottom. make it more visible.

Hey dusk, I think your signature might exceed the size limit.. might want to check-

hmm no not really, but I guess the competition master asked for little bars at the bottom so I did make it about 50 pixels smaller. Its about 250x577 now
