I do not know what it is that I may have done wrong...
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled both freelancer pure and Discovery 4.86.. Freelancer works still but not Discovery...
An error report comes up with this when i try to run it:
AppVer. 48.60.30
ModName. d3d8.dll
ModVer. 5.3.2600.5512
Freelancer.exe
"d3d8.dll" is in the EXE subfolder .... ?????

I am extremely surprised to see this is still being worked on after years. Some developer really ought to consider kickstarting another Freelancer.

It shouldn't be too long now, and btw each time you think about devs delaying the update, remember they are not paid for developing Disco;)
