Sirs,

Whilst I attempted to maintain my off duty time, I found myself somewhat restless, my first day of duty and I wished to fly my ship some more. Although she is not the finest of the Coalition ships, she has a certain charm, and nothing compares to the sights in open space. So after a chat with some of the flight crews I was able to get my ship into space. I had first thought to do a circular route around the Omegas to be the correct thing to do, but then I remembered Commissar-Captain Katz's Hispania Challenge.

In remembering I decided that I would attempt this. My Partisan and I in an epic journey from one side of Sirius to the other. It turned out to be less epic than I had hoped. My initial Journey through Bretonia and the easily accessible Tau's was uneventful, only whence I cam close to the jump to Tau 37 did life become interesting.

A 101st ship, capital class, although of what type I am still uncertain. One does not stop to take a look when one knows that all it will lead to is an early military funeral. he asked me to halt, proclaiming he would not harm me, I do not trust the Outcast scum, so i continued on my way, reaching for Alpha and the Hispania.

My arrival in Alpha was the same as my arrival in 37, chased by this vessel I made a direct line for the Hispania, to reach out from my cockpit and touch the very ship that had brought our ancestors to Sirius.

Upon my arrival at the wreck I found the ship CPW-Udaloy there. I will admit to being relieved at their presence. The captain was most gracious covering my retreat

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a344/Spi...79/screen41.jpg

My return to 52 was mostly uneventful, the freelancer Cross followed me asking me questions, it seemed he had no idea what the Coalition was, I gave him a rough outline, but not trusting him I did not want to say more. He seemed happy with the answers and broke off pursuit around Theta. the rest of my trip was uneventful. Nothing out fo the ordinary. I have once again returned to Zvezdny Gorodok. Here I will await my next orders.

Zdrastveetie, comrades.

I come to you on behalf of Commissar Captain's Katz new orders concerning the Hispania Challenge.
I decided to take it as an opportunity to try out the Udaloy, a Storm-Class gunboat that I have recently been granted by the Commissariat. Now, I have been told by recon specialists that it wasn't the most suited ship type for such an operation, but that was my point : see it handles itself in extremely hostile situations.

I took command of the ship while its armament was just being optimized. Lauching from Mikolaiv with a limited crew, I headed for the first step on the path of my glorious ancestors.

The journey proved to be quiet. The Storm seems fitted for deep space sneaking operation, as my presence was not even acknowledged by the self-proclaimed authorities on my way, particularly in Bretonia.
Entering the Taus proved to be an easy task, but the horizon was soon to darken : The Long Range Sensors of the Udaloy indicated a massive power signature in the Tau 37 system. Most likely the garrison defending access to Omicron Alpha, my final destination.

As I met a wing of Colonial Republic fighters and bombers alike, I hailed them and warned them of the rampant threat. Being sympathetic to our interdiction of drugs traffic and slavery, the Colonials decided to proceed to a clean sweep of Tau 37, creating a distraction that effectively allowed me to penetrate the Outcasts' Homeworld.

Things began to heat up the very second I passed the Jump Hole.
A dreadnought, a destroyer and an escort fighter were sitting five klicks away from me.
I immediately engaged cruise engines in the hope of putting as much as distance between I and them before they could acknowledged my presence.
Moments after came the feared battlecry in the system communications link.
" INTRUDER ! TURN THAT COMMIE INTO SPACE DUST !"

Obviously, the locals were not ready to understand the reason of my visit.
I ended up with the destroyer on my back, not willing to give up.
First, I tried to test his courage and headed into the Edge Nebula, that they call "Malvadas Cloud", if my memory serves me well.
Seeing as the enemy captain didn't feel impressed nor scared by the cloud, I took the opportunity of a nearby jump hole and left the area.

I emerged into a very dark, radiation-filled nebula, and was immediately welcomed by gunfire. I escaped it, and once back in open space, felt relieved to see that my chaser had given up. I ordered the crew to switch off all but the detection subsystems, to minimize our power signature, then called for a quick briefing.

Minutes later, we headed back to Omicron Alpha, and quickly arrived to the Hispania, final goal of our expedition. I remained undetected until I saw our newest recruit, Sergey Litvenko, move towards me at full speed, being chased by the destroyer I had to flee from myself.

Having had largely enough time to accomplish the Rite of Passage, I decided to let the rookie escape unharmed by distracting the destroyer, to buy him some time.
After a few minutes of this chase, I headed back to Tau 37. Everything went fine, when a Storta Battleship started to interfere. Luckily, I managed to use the No Fire Zone of the local Freeport, which was guarded by two OSI zoners, to escape my assailants.

Then, the return trip proved to be just as peaceful as the way in. The Udaloy suffered little damage and I'm told it is already back to optimal status.

A fine vessel indeed.

Dasvidania, my comrades.

End of the report.

By my authority, and by order of the Commissariat.

For completing the Hispania Challenge, and making the pilgrimage to see with your own eyes, and touch with your own hands, the wreck of the Hispania Sleeper ship.

In addition to this, one of those that have completed this mission was a newly minted Sub-Lieutenant of the Fighter Corps. The Paint still wet on his Partisan fighter. An accomplishment that has not gone unnoticed

I award Comrade Lt. Commander Lanakov and Sub-Lt. Litvenko, the Hispania Memorium!

Let the lessons you learned there inspire you and others to greater things!

Comrades, it warms my heart to report once more to our glorious cause. Mission of deep nomad space scanning is compleate, and we returned in one piece and without nomad infestation. It is interesting how many order, corsair and zoner made wrecks were found and noted down for possible recovery, although it might be tricky as some of more functional wrecks developed into nomad hybrid forms. We have boarded wreck of corsair mk I Legate class vessel, El Conquistador, that still had hull integrity intact to inspect the damage. It would seem that good part of the crew died from barely contained engine core breach that has swept the aft decks. However on bridge and engineering, it seems crew had to fight its own turncoat members that were probably possessed by the nomads. We also encountered two nomad entities, separately and have disabled them with weapon fire. Since Akula lacks containment cell, we didnt take them back for inspection. We did pick up some artifacts ship captain had in his quaters. I will hand you rest of written report personally once I get to Zhukovsky. Long live revolutionary front comrades!

Bjorn out.

Comrades,

Today was a day of interesting nature. I was hauled from my bunk 2 hours before my shift started, at first i had thought that something was wrong, that perhaps my day before had been problematic in some way. But it turned out to be something completely different. I was ordered to put on my flight suit and report to the docking bays for orders.

This I did with alacrity, on arrival at the docking bay I was ordered to go to the Omega 50 jumphole where I would meet up with a task force intent on ruining a group of 101st's day.

Arriving at the jumphole I was met by many fellows, some of whom vastly outranked me, the rest merely outranked me. I was the only member there in a light fighter.

We jumped to Omega 50 and found the Outcasts at Puerto Novo station. there we traded insults, they were muttering something about the Hispania being theirs and theirs alone. For that they should be taught the error of their ways, if not for anything else.

We began shooting each other, the fight moving back and forth, back and forth. Eventually we managed to down one, although soon after our cruiser became dust and scrap. More fell. The guns the flight crews ahd given me were capable of stripping shields quickly, alas not so good at hull damage. A few times my Partisan nearly exploded to mines, but I was able to keep fighting. More fighters fell, on both sides, but then the inevitable occurred. My partisan caught between a rock and a hard place, I had no choice, the two mines that made me eject were in the only path i could take.

I have arrived back at Zvezdny to receive a dressing down about the loss of an expensive piece of hardware. I expect i shall be scrubbing latrines for a week.

Sub-Lieutenant Litvenko Out.

Salvage vessels were able to reach the CPR-Kerimov this morning to inspect the damage. The additional armour plating of the vessel we attached took the brunt of the assault leaving much of the original ship intact.

The vessel was taken out of action when the forward guidance engines were damaged by heavy weapons fire that severed a number of conduits aboard the ship. Engineering Specialists from our salvage crews were able to make a patch to the system allowing the vessel to limp back to our shipyards for repairs.

I am pleased to report that there was not damage to the RECON system, nor to many of the ships systems, but there were a number of structural issues that must be addressed before the vessel is spaceworthy.

Lt. Commander Razin will make a full report on what happened to his ship, but project Umbrella was not affected by the boarding party, and completely ignored. The Phantoms were only interested in a biological device that Recon Three brought back on his last mission.

We had no time to study this device, so it is not possible to tell you exactly what they were after. But they successfully recovered it, and it is my opinion that they will not strike again.

Approximately 12 hours ago, our research ship, the CPR-Kemirov was attacked by a phantom raiding party seeking to reclaim project #0323. The raiding party consisted of 5 ships of varying designs of bombers and fighters. Callsigns are as follows: Black.Rose, Shock:, Djinn, Harlequin:, Valentine.

Notification of the attacking forces arrived form the CPW-Kurt.Eisner and the Kemirov was put in constant motion to avoid detection, taking the phantom pilots on a tour of our system, through the Siberian Ice Fields, into the coronas of both suns and ending in a battle in close orbit of planet Odessa.
The Phantom ship "Harlequin" was unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast of it's own torpedo detonating on the Kemirov's heavily armored hull, but all other phantom pilots survived the Kemirov's guns, crippling the engines to prevent escape, boarding the cruiser and reclaiming project #0323.

The CPR-Kemirov has been towed into the dry docks halting the upgrade of the CPR-International pending completions of repairs on the Kemirov.

Damage to the outer armor, engines, aft barracks and containment facilities including the brig where the biological device was stored has been extensive, though the surgical precision of the Phantom pilots indicates they knew exactly where the project was being held, leaving our on board research facilities and RECON system mostly untouched as they boarding party headed straight for the containment facilities.

Project UMBRELLA, unaffected by the attack due to a complete lockdown is in the process of being transferred across to the Veleblit where i will continue to supervise the ongoing research while damage to the Kemirov is repaired.

This week has seen the launch of the prototype coalition SV-151 Alpha Light Fighter and SV-151 Gamma Very Heavy Fighter, a wing of these vessels have been put into action and are currently undergoing extensive testing in and out of live combat scenarios.

SV-151 Alpha Light Fighter
Light Fighter parked against Kurt Eisner
Undergoing weapons testing with Hessians
Patrol of Omega-5 with Hessians

Upon launch, i took the SV-151 Alpha to the omega-5 system via the Kurt Eisner for adjustment's to the fighters power routing. Once in Omega-5, i linked up with the awaiting Hessian patrol to undergo weapons testing and trialing of the new SV-151's fleet mapping systems as we ran through various formations while patrolling.

SV-151 Gamma Very Heavy Fighter
Taking off from Zhukovsky
Taking off from Zhukovsky 2
Sabotage of engines

Testing of the SV-151 Gamma was not as extensive as it could have been. Upon launching, a faulty coolant pump caused the engine to combust mid flight. Retrospective analysis suggests sabotage, likely during pre-flight checks by Yue Fei supporters in Zhukovsky engineering.
I will be alerting Recon to the issue and we can expect the engines to perform flawlessly next test flight.

Flight data, drone cam shots and guncam video has been forwarded to high command for distribution to Coalition media and further testing is scheduled throughout the month.

Today was a really busy day comrades,

Alarm woke me up and got information about Cardamine adicted Outcast from 101st squandron entering Omega 50. Our fleet formed up at Omega 50 jumphole. We entered that systems and we have found this Outcast staying at Puerto Novo base. They were yelling something about Alpha and cardamine.

After that we got under attack. Fighting continued with losses on both sides and they took down our Cruiser there. But they lost many fighters to do that. I got under many times but I always dodged and they lost me from their scope. After another shoot down of their member I got under heavy fire on of their Sabres. I was dodging lot but they got me. I ejected myself before my ship blew up and I was transported back to Gorodok.

I found Kerimov fighting againist 5 Phantom bombers. He fought bravely but he had too many enemies on him. After one Phantom killed another Phantom he was going down.

***Uploading data ... uploaded***

After this Phantom action they got him and Kerimov was forced to eject himself.

***Uploading data ... uploaded***

I tractored him to my ship and transported him to Gorodok, where doctors took care about him. After that I got message that we have destroyed all 101st vessels in Omega 50.
