Comrades of the Revolution, loyal members of the Fighter Corps, Citizens and Workers!

This year has put our party to a certain test in regard to clearness of thought and firmness of will. The test was difficult because it was determined by a fact that weighs heavily upon the consciousness of all party members and the broadest circles of the working population – to be more accurate, upon the entire working population of our country and to a considerable degree of the whole of Sirius. I speak of Grand Admiral McIntosh’s grave illness.

We stand at the edge of internal crisis in a critical epoch, and at a moment when our mood must stand as one with enthusiasm and militancy, we find ourselves adrift. Without any doubt we are passing through a period of internal confusion, of great difficulty, and, what is most important, self-criticism, which, let us hope, will lead to a new cleansing and a new upsurge in the revolutionary movement.

We, who inherit our authority from the Great Leader’s uprising against Chancellor Aeon, which some of those who marched in ranks close to us, or marched parallel with us, are now talking of mutiny and uprising… those that want to see an end to the corrupt puppet People’s Government enslaved to the will of the few.

We Communists cannot look upon the question of the Revolution from a subjective vantage, no sir. We have stood strong, and proud, hand in hand, on the front, and have successfully driven back our enemies. We have fought, bled and some of us have died for the glory of the Revolution.

I will not see that sundered by the bile of those that seek to move in this, our hour of somber mourning.

As of Eight PM Vologograd Standard time, the Commissariat of Truth moved under my direct order, to arrest key figures who had enjoyed positions of prominence and privilege under Grand Admiral McIntosh’s tenure as Great Leader.

Even seeking to exploit his collapsing state of health to their own advantage, dividing power like noble aristocrats of yester-year.

They dwell now aboard the Gulag-ship TOR-ONE, where they will soon be met with a firing squad for their heinous crimes.

This is not the end of the Revolution, my Comrades, no, it is but the beginning of a renewed vigor. Your Government is in control once more, a civilian government elected by the dutiful party membership to guide the great SCRA once more to victory.

Effective immediately, Comrade-Captain Benjamin Warner, Hero of the Revolution has been appointed Commandante of the Fighter Corps. Commander Angie Broch is appointed Commissar-Commander and Minister of Truth. And Commissar Medvedov is appointed Provost-Marshal of the Coalition.

No, comrades, no! We are not degenerating. We change our methods, ways of working – but the revolutionary instinct of self-preservation of the party is the highest thing for us. We study book-keeping and at the same time we keep a sharp eye towards Sirius and events will not surprise us. By self-cleaning and enlarging of the proletarian basis our strength grows ... We are revolutionaries from head to foot, we were so, we remain so, we shall remain so to the end.

The Coalition has a new leader, and I will lead us into a new era!

For the Revolution!

COMMISSARIAT OF TRUTH
HUNTING THE LIES THAT HUNT YOU

Men and women of the Revolution,

It is with great joy that we celebrate the birth of a new era. Those who would hold seats of hypocritical power have been a hindrance in the progress of annihilating the former Alliance that had long since plagued our existence. Those who sympathized with their rule have been detained and are now awaiting judgment at the hands of the People. Our People!

The new order is the will of the Revolution. It is the People's will. Each and every individual within our proud Revolution can rejoice in knowing that their cries will now be heard; that together, as one, we shall triumph in the tides of oppression that is Sirius!

For the Revolution!

Privet.

I'll be brief, for much remains to be done.

The fuel refinery and reserve stores on board Sevastopol have been secured; the adjutant for station security attempted to use the local defense forces as a personal army, but was easily convinced to repent when faced with the prospect of being exposed to hard vacuum. Needless to say I had him vented anyway, and that traitor along with all of his lieutenants are now sharing Tbilisi orbit with the station.

But while the main threat has been dealt with, there remain a few holdouts, their paranoia either justified or needless, but in both cases has labeled them as targets. The fuel stores have been secured with the utmost caution; the likelihood of these rebels attempting to sabotage the lifeblood of the Revolutionary Army is slim to none. In addition, all inbound and outbound spacecraft are having quadruple checks; they have nowhere left to run.

I expect the remainder to be dealt with within twenty four standard hours. Consider Sevastopol secured and still loyal to the Coalition.

SUBJECT: Operations Report

Priviet Comrades,

I'm transmitting from the Ralston Ice Field in the Pennsylvania on-board the newly commissioned CPW-Personal Merit. Currently, I'm keeping tabs on things and ensuring that the filthy Pirates do not exploit the workers. I seem to of scared most of the Pirates away so I'm taking this time to file my report on yesterdays and todays operations. Please note that these are -NOT- in Chronological Order.

First, I was passing by Manhattan where upon I was intercepted* by a Liberty Gunboat. Upon scanning my vessel however, it fell back for unknown reasons. I soon learned why he fell back, he was waiting for reinforcements. With the help of a newly arrived Gunboat they both began to attack* me. However, the Storm out-maneuvered them both and destroyed* one Gunboat while making the other flee*. Interestingly enough, an Upholder Bomber with a very similar name to the Gunboat that was destroyed engaged me. He flew right into my Razors however and was promptly destroyed*.

I encountered a Hellfire Squadron* consisting of one Storta Destroy and Two Bayonets. We had a peaceful chat on the incompetence of the Liberty Forces when I caught wind of two Pirates terrorizing the workers in Pennsylvania. I easily found them* in the Helium Fields after they had just killed a Miner! I charged them with Murder and Treason against the people and summarily executed both the Bomber* and its accomplice*. That's what brought me to my current location.

Myself and Commander Jayce Brooks took the Personal Merit and the Social Credit on combat operations with Captain Warner on-board the CPW-Lithuania. We encountered a Rheinland Cruiser* that was heavily armoured and well armed. Myself and Brooks challenged it to a duel to which the Cruiser accepted. The Lithuania stood-by and recorded the fight for propaganda purposes. It took a while to get through the Cruisers armour but we persevered and managed to land a Critical Hit* which sent its reactor into an overload.

Myself and Jayce went on patrol together in the Omicrons and stumbled upon a Thresher* a mere 10 Kilometers from Planet Toledo. Myself and Jayce decided it would be prudent to destroy it so we engaged* and destroyed* the Thresher.

While I was heading home after a hunting session in Liberty, I encountered a Liberty Gunboat and a Rheinwehr Fighter arguing. Suddenly, the Gunboat engaged* the Fighter. Even though the Rheinwehr Pilot was our enemy, I could not stand-by while a Gunboat picked on a lone Fighter. He was put in his place* and destroyed*.

That concludes this report. I apologize for the mix-up in the chronological order. It'll be rectified for the next report.

Subject: Productive Day

"Good evening Comrades, it was quite the productive and we destroy several hostiles, including a Rheinland Battleship and a Rheinland Cruiser. Than we eventually shifted to our defence fleet once Reaper ships were spotted in Omega-50. Two of which, with the aid of Daemon Steele, were destroyed by my Insurgent.

Also this will be further explained in Ethan Scott's report, but yesterday the CPW Trotsky encountered The Joker along with acouple of his thugs, with careful aim and a whole lot of firepower Mr Scott and myself took down him and his cronies, making the area safe from his 'jokes' for the time being.

On another note, the Corsair Linda.Rosa.Roja was sighted in Omega 5 and destroyed by the CPW Lithuania, later she contacted us via Neural Net transmission and I gave the standard automated reply to her complaint/attempt at bribery. We are far above such petty things and I must congratulate the crew of the Lithuania for a excellent display of marksmanship.

These are the kills as my Guncam was able to pick up, the other pilots who participated in the daring raid will be supplying their own images later on that may include other targets destroyed.

Fare well for now Comrades, and Good Work to the Coalition Pilots, you shall receive extra rationing of Vodka as a personal congratulations for a job well done."

SUBJECT: Operations Report

I received word that an Anti-Coalition group named "The Reapers of Sirius" was located in Omega-50. I mounted my Odin while Ben Warner mounted his Insurgent. We were joined by the Gunboat "Akula" and one of our Recon Cruisers. We arrived to find two Reapers at Boa Vista. It seems we caught them off guard. They challenged us to a duel of two versus two and myself and Ben accepted. They fought hard but they were both destroyed. Unfortunately, I only managed to catch one kill though. Suddenly, another Reaper arrived and I personally challenged him to a duel. He accepted and we fought for quite a while before I managed to turn his dependence on ordinance against him. After that, we returned back to Omega-52 for a break.

I was later instructed to meet up with a battle-group in Baffin. It turns out we were heading to Gallia to probe their Valor Battleships. We encountered one in a system named "Dauphine" and it immediately engaged. It was a fearsome beast and all seemed lost when the Havana caught fire. Incredibly, that beauty of a ship held together in order to finish off the Valor. However, we did not celebrate. We were informed by Jean Marcel that the Royalists may have thousands of these vessels. A rather troubling thought. We finished our patrol and we guided the Havana back to Omega-52 where she's moored.

Hybrid Project Performance Evaluation and Combat Report

The purpose of this report will be to establish a comparative report of the Odin Red Hessian fighter versus our own Insurgent. As we are all very familiar with the Insurgent, I will concentrate on the Odin and its capabilities, as well the effectiveness of our weapons when used in tandem.

Basic Shape

The comparison will start with the spaceframe of the vessel. As opposed to the Insurgent, the Odin has a slimmer profile thanks to its horizontal focus of design rather than the vertical focus of his SCRA counterpart. This allows it to dodge enemy fire more effectively especially when combined with vertical strafing maneuvers. When turning while under fire, horizontal evasive maneuvers work better utilizing the slim profile to present a smaller target while vertical maneuvers present the entire length of the ship as a target. It is my opinion that this is a superior design when compared to the Insurgent's.

Maneuverability

In terms of speed, the Odin is a winner hands down. It can turn faster, is lighter, and has a faster strafe speed thanks to its more robust thrusters and reduced mass. Combined with the aforementioned slimmer profile this gives it a maneuverability edge over the Insurgent. A skilled Odin pilot can literally run circles around and dance through shots of an equally skilled Insurgent pilot simply due to taking advantage of this edge.

Firepower

The Odin and the Insurgent have the same firepower potential. They have equal capability and number of turrets. However, this is one area where the Odin falters. The reactor core is significantly weaker and our weapons which require great amounts of power to fire consistently drain it one and a half seconds slower than the insurgent when using the standard complement of two Dragunov SVD-2s and four Kalashnikov AK-2 guns. The use of the quicker Dragunovs as tracers when shields are down is not recommended in an Odin. And while one and a half seconds less of sustained fire is not a long time, within a battle it can sometimes mean the difference between finishing off an opponent.

Electronics

The optics of the Odin and Insurgent are comparable. Both have easily modifiable sensor suites that are standard for multi-mission aircraft and the quality of optics is relatively the same, given the extensive nature of Coalition and Red Hessian collaboration in equipment design.

Combat Effectiveness

The following is a combat action report. The incident in question was with the Rheinland Military with the terrorist Joker arriving with two of his thugs shortly before the last RM pilot was shot down.

The incident occurred during a combined fleet movement including the Havana, Trotsky and Social Credit with Red Squadron and Sub Lieutenant Alex Orwell providing fighter escort. This combat action report will focus on the combat action seen in the Hamburg system.

Two RM Valkyries were engaged by Alex Orwell and myself. The two RM pilots did well to keep their attacks coming from multiple directions. Even with SLt. Orwell's best attempts to dodge them, he was shot down. This prompted the Social Credit to jump into the fight, separating one RM pilot from the one I was concentrating my fire upon. The Social Credit made quick work of its target, while I engaged the other fighter.

During this time the Havana, Social Credit and Red-2 continued fleet maneuvers while the Trotsky remained. An RM bomber appeared on the scene shortly after and started bombing runs on the Trotsky. However, Captain Warner's crew effortlessly dispatched the bomber, annihilating it with a mortar blast when it's shields were down due to my fire. I returned my attention to the fighter, and finished him off.

It was at this point that the Trotsky was engaged by the terrorist who calls himself The Joker. Attacking rashly before his bomber support arrived, the Trotsky effortlessly destroyed his Tridente gunboat. The Trotsky claimed another kill by shooting down one of his thugs, while I took down the bomber that arrived too late to help.

The Valkyrie is a quicker and smaller fighter but has less firepower than the Odin. However, the Odin's own maneuverability allowed it to greatly negate the Valkyrie's advantage, and brought its superior firepower to bear quicker than an Insurgent would.

During the fight with the Joker's Tritente-class gunship, its greater ability to dodge and smaller profile allowed it to more effectively dodge gunboat class turrets giving it greater endurance when facing such a class of ship.

Conclusion

It is the opinion of this report that the Odin Red Hessian fighter, while having it's drawbacks, is a superior fighter to our own Insurgent. While it cannot deliver as much damage as it can receive, it can escape it much greater ease and can bring its sights to bear quicker on an opponent when counter-attacking.

SUBJECT: Operations Report

We were ordered by Commandant Warner to mount our Fighters in order to participate in a sweep in a sweep of the Lower Bretonia, Lower Rheinland and Omega Regions. We first encountered a Phantom on our patrols. Myself and Ethan Scott were ordered to take it down. When we approached him he immediately began firing on my vessel. I punished him for his insolence with two Razors to his hull. He then turned his attention to Ethan Scott who administered the Killing Blow.

En-route to Dublin we encountered a Corsair Titan we engaged and destroyed him.

When we entered Dublin we encountered a Bretonian Agent. Comrades Scott and Paddy Holly were ordered to engage and did so. After several minutes or so the target was destroyed by two well placed mines.

When we returned to Omega-52 Alex Orwell began to be insubordinate and quite annoying. It culminated in him being punished by TOR-ONE. We were ordered to attack him and if he reached Gorodok then he'd be safe. He did not reach Gorodok. Thankfully for him, the Commissariat of Truth showed mercy on him and didn't punish him further.

That concludes this report.

Just a brief report this time. I un-docked from Gorodok where I received a message from Commandant Warner about a Nomad ship in Omega-50. Apparently he was in pursuit of it. I headed towards it and managed to cut it off where upon Commandant Warner disrupted the vessel and instructed me to engage. That thing was fast but it was rather fragile. Like all things, it fell to the might of the Coalition. Nothing is safe from our Glorious Revolution.
