About: Scout mission report #1

Guten Tag meine Damen und Herren,

Report from 8.1.819 A.S.
Tonight was my first scout mission in the Liberty. Of course'€¦ I had two or three simulations, but this was real mission. My orders from Rheinland Military High command were to examine designated area of Texas. I got Oberfeldwbel Landers and Flieger Nelson under my command for this mission. For success of this scout mission I needed one more pilot. I had no choice. I took one pilot from WRF wing into my scout group. Maybe it wasn'€™t the best solution, but better than nothing. I instructed the pilots and after few minutes we were ready for the mission. We headed to Texas over Hudson jump-hole. Everything was good'€¦ so far. Trade Lanes in Hudson were clear, but when we entered Sitka Field, Oberfeldwebel Landers spotted one hostile contact on his scanner. It was a Navy fighter. He was 12k away from our position. I gave order to jump, before he finds our position. Few seconds later we were in system Texas.

When we jumped out, I ordered to move to our first Rally point in sector: *Classified*. We intercepted enemy communications. Units of Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Forces were searching for us. It was a matter of time before they find us. We moved to our second rally point. We didn'€™t have much time. I had to split my team into two wings. Wing number 1,'€¦ Me and Flieger Nelson. Oberfeldwebel Landers with WRF pilot in Wing number 2. First objective of this mission was to examine North Dallas Debris Field. Find a satellite under Liberty Navy control was the second mission objective. Wing 2 got the first mission objective, and I with Flieger Nelson took the second one. The area with Navy satellite was dange close near Trade Lane between New York jump gate and planet Houston. We were there in 5 minutes. The satellite was defended by two Weapon platforms. I uploaded the position of this satellite and downloaded unknown signal. Data was stored safely in my computer. We were turning back to the rally point, when Oberfeldwebel Landers reported one LSF contact. We had all the necessary data. I ordered to retreat. I think the LSF called for backup, because after few minutes I spotted one Liberty Navy fighter on our six. Landers was almost at the jump hole. LSF fighter was behind him. When Landers with WRF jumped from Texas to Hudson, I gave them orders to return at Hamburg'€™s rally point. Unfortunately, the LSF fighter still in Texas, and blocked the jump hole. We were 12k from the jump hole with Navy fighter on our tail. Nelson jumped into Hudson system, meanwhile I covered for him. Pilots of Liberty Navy and Security Forces jumped too. In Hudson we engaged cruise, but Nelson'€™s engine was disrupted. Flieger Nelson was under heavy fire by LN and LSF. He had a weak fighter gear. Without Armor Upgrade has been destroyed, before I could do something. I spotted new hostile contact. It was a Navy cruiser. I caught Nelson'€™s evac module and flew away.

Mission accomplished. All data were transmitted to Rheinland Military High Command center. We had few problems, but we did it. Liberty units destroyed Nelson'€™s fighter, but he is alive. Thanks to his sacrifice, was our mission successful.

Location: Texas system.

End of report.

Guten tag, meine Herren. Today, I responded to zhe call to duty from zhe Vizeadmiral Putzkammer. Zhe Vizeadmiral reported zhat a Libertonian dreadnought had pinned down a Rheinwehr Korvette in zhe Texas system, and zhat he needed all available bombers to destroy zhe dreadnought.

Zhe dreadnought, zhe LNS Platte, was found at zhe Bering jump gate, already attacking zhe Vizeadmiral. With zhe Vizeadmiral's orders in hand, I opened fire on zhe Platte at once. Between zhe Vizeadmiral's Fafnir and my own Bergelmir, we were making excellent progress on zhe Platte, but then our backup arrived.

Zhe Rheinwehr battleship RNC Viraat came to support us. Zhe Platte fell in mere seconds to zhe might of zhe Kanzler's Rheinwehr! Zhe Korvette was successfully rescued, and we returned to Hamburg vith no further incidents.

[opening message]

Guten Tag,
I am placing my report now:

8. "Lightning Strike"

Today was a great day for Rheinland. Vizeadmiral Hans Putzkammer have ordered us to mobilise in the orbit of Planet Hamburg. Our fleet was assembling for 20 minutes before departing to assault the Liberty Goverment in Texas System. Our mission was to strike immediately and to use the element of surprise in order to inflict massive damage to the unprepared enemy.

We have moved behind the Planet Houston and headed to the northern trade lane sectors in order to cut the shipments and alert the enemy of our presence. Minute later a transport ship have been spoted escorted from 2 LN pilots, and a battlecruisers incoming right behind them. Our fleet was separated in two primary gorups. Our small fighters team had the hard time of keeping enemy bombers away from the capital ships and fighting the incoming patrols. Our second group consisted of all our four battleships, 2 cruisers and 2 gunboats. The battle was even and our fleet showed great valor destroying nearly 8 capital ships. Here are some guncams:

Once we have destroyed the lane hacker battleship, we've got some reports of incoming enemy reinforcements. Our fleet could have handle them no matter what but after we've lost one of our battleships , one cruiser and in the end one gunboat, it was not necessary to sacrefice more people lifes for a battle we cant win. We did our job, we did a bilions of damage to the goverment, it was time to proceed with a tactical retreat, that was not very easy though. An Osiris class battleship arrived in order to help libertonians, I dont have any guncams on him or on the Assault 1 gunboat we've destroyed, my camera was offline. We slowly regrouped and moved directly to Bering's Jump gate while the capital ships cover fired us from the enver ending waves of enemies. Shortly after many interruptions from enemy side, we have menaged to retreat, but my way as cuted, the bering jump gate was shut down. So I had to retreat 100k to the nearest Hudson Jump gate, which was heavily protected too. My only escape was through Hudson Jump Hole. Flieger Manstein was waiting me there assuring me, the sector is clear. Swiftly we have returned to the Fatherland with our heads high.

From all the wrecks in Texas, I have menaged to save a cruiser commander and 3 navy pilots , probably lucky, protected from there escape pods. I have been given order to return these men directly to Verlande Prison Station, where they would be interogated.

Fliger Lehmann reporting!

I was en route to help another Flieger deal with the Hessians when I ran across a Corsair. There was quite a lot of chatter on our encrypted channel, and I was told not moments later to avoid Omega-Three, where the Hessians were assaulting one of our units.

At any rate, after herr Meyer tried to figure out what he was doing in Stuttgart, he gave me the green light, and after a somewhat long fight, the stupid Corsair decided it was appropriate to run himself into a small planet.

Soldaten, Piloten, Kameraden!

Due to the absence of Admiral Gunther Rall as well as Admiral Malexa Malte, the High Command has discussed changes that have been slowly integrated into the structure of the Rheinwehr over the last month and are officially in power from this day forward.

First of all, both Admirals have been officially awarded the [color=#33CC00]Hero of Rheinland
decoration, for their outstanding service as both commanders and pilots of the Rheinwehr Hauptflotte, leading hundreds of victorious battles throughout several fronts, as well as proving to be role models of service and excellence for the whole armed force.

The people of Rheinland is appreciative of your services, our heroes.

On from this moment, I, Alec Voelkel, am officially taking command of the Rheinwehr as Fleet Admiral, with Vizeadmiral Hans Putzkammer as my second in command. Generalmajor Gunthram Koehler has also been granted a seat in the High Command, at least until the mental issues of Generalleutnant Felicia Drum are resolved.

The new High Command is discussing a considerable amount of changes in our ranking structure, diplomacy, modus operandi and combat protocols. We will keep you up to date on that, pay attention to the communication and announcement hub.

Signed,

Admiral Alec Voelkel,
Oberkommando der Rheinland Militär.

Guten Tag, Das ist Flieger Carl von Manstein of the 88th Rheinwehr Brigade.

This is a report about patrol NR-76 und an analysis on the performance of Michael von Reims. Ve started our patrol duty in the orbit of New Berlin.

In Mainz Storage Facility we grouped up with Lieutenant Wenzel Kreuzchen and I briefed him.

After the briefing he ordered us to continue the patrol, so we took the trade lane to Munich Jump Gate and then me and Herr Michael jumped to Munich System. Right after the jump, a transport came which was hauling illegaly Military Vehicles. We ordered it to stop but it didn't comply and jumped. Unfortunately there was a small traffic near the Gate, so it took us a while before we jump to Frankfurt and chase the smuggler. There, I briefed the Lieutenant about the situation and when I noticed that the smuggler was moving to Sigma-13, I asked for permission to enter Sigma-13, where I could finally disrupt the lane and make him stop, but he didn't grant me permission. We assembled in Fulda Border Station and then, with Lieutenant Kreuzchen, patrolled the debris field around Helgoland.

In the return trip to New Berlin, we found a Unioner Ship with a call sign "AGS-U|Tanja.Koenig" in a nearby lane. We stopped and Lieutenant interrogated the pilot. The Unioner resisted and revealed his unlawful activities and some moments later she attacked the Lieutenant. Me and Michael secured the perimiter, while Lieutenant was fighting the pirate. Fortunately, Herr Kreuzchen didn't have trouble taking down an enemy of Rheinland. Here is the proof of the destruction of the hostile vessel.

After we scanned some nearby transports we continued to New Berlin, where Lieutenant left because he had to make some paperwork. Me and Michael proceeded to Dresden and then to Omega-15 where we patrolled the area around the nearby Battleship. We didn't find any hostile encounters, so we continued to Omega-11. There, we patrolled the mining belt and then we docked in Solarius Station for re-fueling. Surprisingly, we found out that some of our electronic equipments of our ships were damaged, but fortunately the repair team aboard Solarius managed to fix this issue quickly.

After we successfuly launched, we moved to the Stuttgart Jump Gate. In Stuttgart System we didn't find any pirate activity, so we move to New Berlin System and finish the patrol. Near Bonn Station we found an Interspace Commerce transport, hauling Mining Machinery. After a quick search in the neuralnet database we checked that this accomodity is not in the approved shipping list, so we asked the transport captain to take some distance from the station and then I asked Herr Reims to interrogate the captain, while I was saving the transmissions and checking the skills of our Recruit Candidate. Here are the transmissions.

Captain Mitchell obeyed Herr Reim's order and jettisoned his cargo. A transport came afterwards and picked it up. Later, we arrived at Planet New Berlin and we finished out patrol. He behaved and obeyed the orders very well und I didn't have any issues. He also told me that he is using a mechanical brain und this made me a little suspicious.
But overall, ich glaube that he is clear for duty.

Flieger Carl von Manstein, signing off.

[color=#FFCC00]
Today's patrol was exceptionally hellish, it gave us a nice introduction on what awaits us if we intensify our Omega-11 operations. Certainly Daumann could have picked a better place to set up their mining operations at, considering that an entire fleet of Red Hessians and Corsairs alike decided to join us in our little radiation bath. It's truly a divine wonder that we lost no men.

At 1318, a patrol consistent of me, Leutnant Meyer and Leutnant Kreuzchen entered Omega-7, sweeping the system and finding it clean of any malignancy.

At 1331, we entered Omega-11 to do a routine sweep which did not end as routine as I hoped.

Me and Leutnant Meyer, my sole wingman at that point started doing a circle around the sun to reach the newly discovered mining field on the other side of the system. In a few minutes, we ran across a mining vessel under a Hessian designation, obviously with stolen diamonds in its hold, heading into an asteroid field rapidly.

We engaged the vessel as it made its escape and it lead us to a heavily armed asteroid platform, the armaments of which we chiefly deterred to fire at the mining vessel itself. However, before we made any notable progress with the miner's destruction (as an addition to the fact that it had rapid-firing AAA defense turrets), numerous Red Hessian escort fighters materialized from among the asteroids. Me and Meyer suddenly found ourselves against approximately six Hessian very heavy fighters, some of IMG make.

I immediately called for backup, not only were we heavily outnumbered, but the radiation levels emitted by the sun also rapidly ate up our hull. Thankfully, our men were quick with getting to the field, several more Rheinwehr vessels arrived before the firefight erupted.

We made out a pattern between the opposing force, apparently we were facing two separate Red Hessian divisions, one the Red Hessian Army, the other one the Rot Front, a mixed group consistent of several IMG rebels and their equipment.

After successfully neutralizing two of the Rot Front vessels and engaging the Red Hessian Army in a more lengthy encounter, a pair of Corsair dreadnaughts materialized from amongst the asteroid fields, their intentions at that point were unknown, but they caused both fighting forces to raise their heads.

Determined by their transmissions, we concluded that the Corsairs were specifically intending to neutralize the Rheinwehr part of the battlefield, which the Hessians either ignored deliberately or were not keen on happening. At any rate, both forces disengaged and headed to neutralize the Corsair capital ships, the CNS Fratria and the Carlos Sombrero.

During the engagement, more Rot Front vessels, up to the size of a Zephyr-class emerged to assist, but the Corsairs successfully neutralized quite a huge amount of the Hessian force, including the Zephyr itself, not necessarily to our sorrow.

The arrival of a third dreadnaught caused most of the stir, luckily it disappeared before delivering any damage and was simply some sort of repair ship which recharged the defense systems of the Carlos Sombrero.

The final conclusion was that the Corsair forces were nullified and the Red Hessians took heavy casualties. The Red Hessian commander decided it would be wise of them to retreat and defend a certain "Freital" he mentioned, the MND will determine what that exactly is. Our men were exhausted and our ships were damaged both by gunfire and radiation, so I gave the order not to pursue the revolutionaries, but to return to the Karlsruhe instead.

At 1428, we left Omega-11 after conducting a successful cleanup of the system. Hellish it may be, this area certainly needs more attention.

Guten tag!
Today was a hard day. First we found LNS-Assaul1, MM~Charles.Edwin and TF7|SK-A.Gates in Hamburg. I was with Flieger Carl.v.Manstein, Michael.v.Remis and the war ship RNC-Viraat. =Hostile vessels=. We managed to make them run away from the system, I wold like to ask the MND agent's to look in this, I wonder what they wanted in Hamburg anyway. After that me and Flieger went in Stuttgart and ther we found 2 hostiles ships one IMG GB and one ODin Very Heavy Fighter Class. =Hostile Ships=. After they fleed I decided to patrol Omega-7 but upon our arrival there we were expecting by a Hessian ship. Seconds later more of them have come and there was a DHC patrol called DHC-Patrol.Beta-1 that I think he was working with the Hessians. I ordered the Flieger to pull back to Stuttgard system while I have covered his retreat, but badly my GunCam was broken so I have only the "audio" format of our comms. There it goes:

[15.01.2011 21:20:36] DHC-Patrol.Beta-1: Oh our "Heroes" are here
[15.01.2011 21:20:57] DHC-Patrol.Beta-1: Lets see you are enough tough for Omegas

Guten Tag meine Herren,

I was undocking from Schlachtschiff Altenburg in the Dresden system to meet with Herrn Oberfeldwebel von Marck for a regular patrol. As soon as I left the hangar of the Schlachtschiff I was contacted by a Daumann patrol who asked for assistance with an Interspace Commerce vessel hauling cargo not listed in their allowed goods list.

**Data not found: ...\Camera\log231.bi**

This Interspace vessel was located directly north of the Schlachtschiff, not more than 1000 units away with the Daumann patrol in front oh him. I got closer and scanned the ship, and as the Daumann patrol has reported it was hauling raw Diamonds belonging to Daumann.

**Data not found: ...\Camera\log232.bi**

I immediately ordered him to leave his cargo at the next station or to drop it, so the Daumann ship could arrange a transport. But he refused to do so and wanted to see the article in our law which restricts Interspace Commerce transports. I provided him with a Neural Net Link to the documents dealing with that matter and ordered him again to drop his cargo, and read them afterwards. He refused to drop the cargo a second time and wanted to read the Neural Net entry first. This is were the patience of the Daumann patrol and my own came to an end and the Daumann patrol ship fired a few warning shots at the Interspace vessel dropping its shields.

**Data not found: ..\Camera\log233.bi**

In the meantime Oberfeldwebel von Marck has contacted me after he reached the Dresden system. I was not able to establish a comlink to him before due to massive static. So I reported everything that has happened until this moment to him and he took course to Schlachtschiff Altenburg.

Moments before his arrival the Interspace vessel, to all our surprise, somehow managed to dock with the Altenburg (an investigation is still taking place whether he hacked the docking bay or bribed one of the dock masters). A search party inside the ship was arranged immediately while the Captain of the ISC vessel still contacted us via some kind of personal communicator. He was trapped and had no way of escaping, so Oberfeldwebel von Marck gave him a last chance to come out and drop the cargo and leave unharmed. The ISC Captain stayed inside the Schlachtschiff and did not contact us anymore nor did he respond to our communications.

I am not informed if the crew of the Altenburg has already catched him, but should he have somehow managed to escape this situation here is the ID that his ship transmitted so he can be persecuted for his crimes against the Vaterland.

After this incident Herr Oberfeldwebel von Marck and I started our regular patrol. While we were moving out of the Dresden system, the Daumann patrol contacted us again transmitting his location and a report about a Junker carrying raw diamonds. We moved to the location just to see the Junker escaping in territory we could not follow him this few in numbers.

**Data not found: ...\Camera\log234.bi**

The rest of the patrol through New Berlin, Hamburg and Sigma-13 up to Helgoland station was quiet and there were no more incidents.

I reported to the Moselle for some unofficial training, but none-the-less I feel I should report it. We all took part in intense live-fire exercises, and I made two recorded 'kills'.

One

I also fought herr Lazovic, and reduced his hull substantially, it was a dodging battle for the most part, but I finally ran out of luck.
