Amanda gently gulps and gets the taste of the drink out of her mouth Uh its not issue, heh, don't worry, a nervous habit of mine to do that sometimes, oh and uh, my names Amanda, Amanda Henderson, rather new but I feel trusted and valued and such. Shawn finnishes gently the last bit of his s-a-l-t-y drink. Makes a bitter face and faces Amanda to continue speaking. "I see, trusted and valued huh? you are, welcome to the family, cutie..." Shawn says as he gives a gesture to the barmaid to ask for another drink, the same one. "Want another drink? I invite. You know, since you are new and all... and commemorating our first time meeting in person rather than in space. I suggest the same one, its bad to mix drinks you know?" he gives her a rather flirtatious smile.

She gives it a quick thought then nods to Shawn smiling again Sure, I wouldn't mind another one, and uh, she blushes slightly on her pale skin thanks, I certainly feel welcome here now. She smiles yet again and looks over to Shawn and notices his smile, the way it looks to her, she squints, then rapidly blushes and reaches for a drink she didnt yet have, then chuckles at the awkward situation Sorry, again nervous habit. She taps the countertop and looks at the barmaid slowly preparing the drinks

"tsk what with this girl... shes too cute!!!" Shawn thought to himself as soon as she looked away his face changed to a surprised subtle blush, and a drop of sweat was running down his right cheek. He gulped and froze staring at Amanda, and the barmaid woke up him up for him to get his drink. "sir... your drinks... *she chuckles cheesley* "A-ah yes.. s-sorry..." he grabs his drink and have a long sip from it... his face turns bitter from the drink, as if to forget what just happened... he breathes in and out, to regain his composture and smiles to talk to Amanda again like if nothing. "S-so... you might have been looking for this right? don't worry about it... its a cute gesture, *he pass Amanda her drink* like I said, this one's on me cutie. So how long have you been flying on the omicrons, let alone in the guild itself, I haven't heard about you until now. he leans a little on the counter to face Amanda better.

Amanda smiles shyly and grabs her drink, and promptly sips it eh thanks she blushes again at the "cutie" remark and continues sipping her drink And uh to answer your question Shawn, I've been flying through the edgeworlds and omicrons quite some time as a convoy escort, dumb captains got us lost enough times I got pretty familiar with the territory. Eh, been flying for the guild maybe a few weeks now? Eh I lose track after all that happens so short out here. Gotta remember what happens to the unlucky ones out here. She slightly grimaces at those thoughts then smiles again at shawn But I suppose that basically answers your questions, so how about you? What's your story here? She turns to face Shawn and crosses her legs leaning forward to listen

Shawn gives a little sigh out and watches in the distance across the bar. Well, I was a bounty hunter before... he lay his back on the counter and leaves his drink on it. "... I haven't told anyone, but... the reason I joined the guild was not because the death of my zoner friend, true I came here to the Omicrons for the first time thanks to him, but... the real reason was because... during my work I met a nice girl... we got married, although it was early for me to get married... hell, we are spacefarers, we are free to do what we like. She was pregnant and well, we were visiting her home, Freeport 11. That zoner friend was her brother, and that nomad attack on the way didn't only took my friend's life. his eyes void, and he looks down... "... her last words during the fight was... 'keep smiling...' he gives a smile and looks up again. "Thats why I am always like this... I took it as a promise... for granted. My reason for being here as Nodtviet knows, is not for revenge... its for confort... this was her homeworld, and this was the place she cherished the most. He turns and stares at Amanda for a while with just a smile...

Ivy slowly finishing her conversation with the 'person' that was being projected on the screen lifted her hand up, signaling one of the bar maidens to come over. Carrying a purple tin plate on which she had empty glasses one of them approached. "How may I help you?"
"I'll...erm...can I have one of those, Teardrop drinks? Please..."
"Certainly. Coming right up!" The maiden made her way over to the far away bar counter, leaving the empty glasses and taking up a couple of drinks, she came back passing Ivy, leaving the drink on the table before attending another one not leaving enough time for Ivy to thank her. Taking a sip, she slightly stuck her tongue out from the s-a-l-t-y taste, but as the sweet kicked in she managed to take another one, again just looking around now anxiously glancing back to her arm on which she had the attached Data Interface.

Amanda Listens intently, changing her expression and whatnot throughout, then once Shawn is done, she purses her lips and sets her drink down That's a very touching reason, certainly something i didn't really expect to hear from a person as boastful as yourself She chuckles again and takes a small drink from her beverage I'm glad you already trust me enough to let me know something like that, glad I can get to know you and that ill be flying alongside you. Mhm I am always glad to flight with these blokes too, and I'd love to flight with you too as well. he laughs and looks at Amanda. Sometimes I don't understand all the fighting we have here, but I still do it... cause I got no other option. I don't necessarily hate the order, but... they have brought me to feel awkward with them... cause they insult too much although I try to be friendly sometimes. Its hard... he sighs heavily and scratches the back of his head... then looks up at the dancers... but you know... moments like this right now is what makes me rethink all of those bad stuff. I am talking to a fine lady, having a nice drink... enjoying the dancers. The music, sharing with friends. Aye, the Core is the best He gives a wide smile and blushes a little.
