If a player is the last one standing after a fair fight, and a "gank" is going to ensue, I don't see a problem with it. They're going to lose, and then explode. I might as well make it quick.

Alright, just to be sure: Had I stayed, would you have shot me with your caps/gbs?

Hi there, during the whole PR fiasco the =LSF=Freedom arrested me (Congressman Steve Squigs) and dropped me off at LPI Sugarland for "Questioning" I was told that the LPI would get a message about the situation and then some sort of "Questioning" would take place

Are we still doing that?

Since your silence is an answer to me I have circle jerked with myself and said that Steve was released without charge or processing due to the LSF's lack of interest.

Perhaps next time the LSF chooses to arrest someone they can be upfront about saying they can't be bothered to do any RP beyond the arrest instead of lying to my face and saying something is going to happen.

The reason nobody responded is because Jonas' computer is on the fritz, therefore he couldn't reply to you. The intent was for you to be transferred to the LPI.

Please do not bring this sort of sass into my feedback thread.

[5/21/2015 1:14:12 PM] Impy: I think I mentioned / asked in libgov about it a few times but it got burried
[5/21/2015 3:14:48 PM] Jonas Valent: If you could take care of it I would appreciate it. My computer died yesterday so I'll be away from disco for a couple days till I get a new one

Considering that this happened almost two weeks ago I fail to see how he couldn't reply to me, also considering there isn't any post anywhere (inRP) about it there isn't anything for him to reply to.

Not sass, simply pointing out that if the LSF doesn't wish to do RP then they shouldn't be arresting people, and they certainly shouldn't be putting off dealing with an arrest for weeks on end. I understand life is a thing but perhaps some sort of indication should be made that life is in the way, instead of silence.

Just going to toss this here because the player who was involved seems new enough that he won't know to do it himself.

I am kind of new to Discovery (played for several weeks now and btw I am a Freelancer Veteran) but i love it since the first day.

Of course there are a lot of questions in the beginning but I made it to answer them myself. But now there was a RP incident which I was pondering about. An incident with the LSF.

Does the LSF have might about the LN and can demand and sue whatever they want? I am speaking about a single LSF Officer doing that and not the official way about RP Generals and superior officers.
Yeah it was RP and it was good RP. But consists the LSF a bunch of No Cussing folks - Mod Team ? Or is it true that they have the might to tell an LN capital ship Captain what to do and ask him a lot of questions which they don't have to know?
In Rp I was like, I am the Captain of a Battlecruiser I own you maybe an explanation but not such an interrogation. I am kinda new to RP so they had the better arguments hehe.

The outcome was that they sued me and said that they take my ship away from me. My ship has its own name so when they ask me about it again am I able to say that this ship is running by a new Captain?

I am a little confused right now and afraid about an another encounter with these guys.

I thought LN is kinda independent. I am not in the official LN Faction so there might be differences.

Greetings

And the response by one of your members...

(06-04-2015, 01:27 PM)Oblivion Wrote: Now, about this.

inRP, the thing was, you were escorting a transport in a LABC, which wouldn't be a usual sight. And when we asked the names of the pirates, you said the names of two Junkers, now obviously that would make anyone suspicious. This led us to believe you were hiding something and so I was gonna make you dock on Norfolk for a 'status check' (I think I mentioned it, I'll look into the screens). Now the black box, it technically meant you would sent us screens over using forums, sorry didn't knew that you were new.

And then later on, we were being harsh because you weren't docking. We were also harsh because we remained suspicious.

and this...
Quote:Faction Right 2. Official player factions have authority over players of the same NPC affiliation, as long as RP justification is provided. This authority applies in forums and in-game, and applies to player faction diplomacy, and strategic and tactical direction, however, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and second in command(s) of the faction. The authority may be exercised through the use of in-game in-RP orders, which, if not obeyed, can result in in-game in-RP consequences (arrest, court martial, and even "lethal" force in extreme circumstances). Official player factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to. In case of IDs with multiple official factions, this right is nullified and cannot be used by any of the factions.

We can issue orders to you, and we had an RP justification to do so. We were really suspicious, you know? Tongue

I honestly can't decide whether its sadder or more funny that the member in question believes trolling and harassing indies is one of his rights as an official faction member

I think this player refers to the fight earlier today between XA- and the navy. I, with a LSF ID, told him not to shoot at the last XA- who was dueling a 5th. But that's about it.

Read Oblivion's reply. That is clearly not the case at all.

The problem is already been solved off the forums, I do not know why you need to bring it to the 1iC.
