Subject: Patrol Report

KorvettenKapitan Mathew reporting on my patrol. My patrol started at Planet New Berlin, the usual routine of scanning ships and making sure there were no issues with traffic. Today seemed more busier than ever as countless traders from different parts of Sirius arrived and began docking with the planet. Nothing out of the ordinary as most were carrying ores or some type of finished goods. After the traffic began to die down I noticed a strange signature on radar. A single ship of unknown origin and type emerged from the tradelanes coming from Frankfurt. The ship began to communicate with me, but it wasn't the warm tone of a human, but of a cold calculating voice of machine. After some questioning the ship was a scout ship for a empire I've never heard of. The ship was traveling the stars exploring systems for its empire. After the questions had satisfied my curiosity and inquiry, the strange ship left the system to continue to chart Sirius. A strange sight indeed.

During the encounter with the machine ship, a freelancer presented herself and joined in with questions and concerns. After the ship left she proceeded to offer her services as a bounty hunter. During our chat a few ships passed by. I scanned some but I failed to notice a single transport pass. The freelancer told me that she suspected that the ship had contraband and so not wasting time we pursued the ship. The ship halted on the way to Bonn station out of the lanes, and we dropped in front of the ship. I instructed the transport to allow me to scan his ship, which revealed a full load of black market munitions and weapons. Seeing as this was his first time and was mostly confused and scared I waived the fee and just destroyed the cargo. He was respectful and followed my orders so we parted ways and returned to my station.

After some time the freelancer left to bretonia after escorting a Krugar transport and offering to continue helping me with my hunt for a smuggler, I remained alone. I picked up reports of unknown ships in Thuringia, and as seen before there have been ships entering the system unauthorized. Just at hand was a MND agent which assisted me our search for un-welcomed guests. After a bit of searching we encountered a freelancer cruising through Thuringia. After reasoning with the ship to leave, the pilot refused and fled. The ship left the system at top speed and our pursuit ended at the jump hole to Frankfurt. We tracked down the last two ships, with the timely arrival of another fellow RM pilot. Both ships were part of MND and we parted ways after that. Strange but makes sense since they value secrecy.

The next thing to happen was a long range communication with a republican ship stranded in Gallic space. I came to its aid and escorted the ship home. I was gifted some credits for my trouble which I put to use stocking my ammo reserves.

And last event on my patrol was a dogfight with a coalition bomber. I encountered the ship in New Berlin, and began to interrogate the pilot on his goals and intentions. The pilot wanted to cross Rheinland space to get to Bering. After some back and forth between us, it all came to a close as the shots rang out. I had the advantage as my ship was better suited for fighter combat. But in the end we both were taken out by the other as my missiles destroyed his ship and his torpedo slammed into my hull. I managed to signal a passing ship and returned to base. I called it a day and returned to my quarters. That is all..

KorvettenKapitan Mathew reporting on my patrol. Started patrolling the New Berlin System along with Soldat Mettenheim. Very few ships into the night, but we were looking out for the slightest bit of trouble. As our patrol group grew from two to three ships after a gunboat the Wulfsburg joined us. We began to set a course after some strange ships were spotted in omega 7. The reports were a little dated as we ran into the group, a single fighter and a destroyer from the coalition. We engaged and win the initial fight, destroying the fighter, but the Wulfsburg shields fell and her armor did not last against the coalition destroyer. After a brief bout with the destroyer in a quick act of judgment suggested to disengage as our weapons were ineffective against the ship. I agreed and we set a course for New Berlin. The fight ended but the coalition ships were repelled, but momentarily. Other than that, we returned to New Berlin to restock munitions and repairs, and our ships are ready for action once again.

Subject: Stuttgart Heavy Patrol

Guten Tag. This is Soldat Mettenheim, reporting on a recent fleet action in the Stuttgart system. My patrol originated in the New Berlin system, where I linked up with Korvettenkapitan Mathews. While we were originally slated to ensure the safety of traders arriving via the Hamburg-Hudson connection, the Oder-class gunboat RNC-Wulfsburg attached itself to our wing. It was decided that between our two Mjolnir-class snubcraft, and a gunboat from the self-defence forces, we would be able to take on some of the hardier elements of our fine house, and so we moved to inspect the lanes of Stuttgart. As Herr Mathews said in his recent transmission, we moved to engage what appeared to be two Coalition snubcraft. It was only until we were upon them that we realized that we were facing down a destroyer and its escort. We targeted the snubcraft first, though the Wulfsburg was heavily damaged in the process, and we decided to peel off and leave the destroyer to heavier hardware.
While admittedly I am somewhat cautious and disdainful of the so-called “reserve fleet” that makes up our self-defence forces, the RNC-Wulfsburg performed admirably in the face of imminent danger. It would do well to incorporate the Wulfsburg into further actions, and assess it for full incorporation into the Rheinwehr primary fleet.

After Action Report: Unternehmen Sommerregen

In accordance with operational orders issued by the Oberkommando at the request of the Modual Base Licencing Registry, a detachment of Kampfgruppe Vallentorm's "SEK-Borne" Special Operations Unit, was deployed to Munich to undertake the deconstruction of an illegal facility.

Fleet operations began at 12:31 Sirius Standard Time and were completed with the destruction of the facility at 12:49 Sirius Standard Time. A small response was observed from local Red Hessian elements. Their response was both lackluster in size, and too late on the scene - it would appear the sound defeat handed to their SOA recently has effectively suppressed the enemy. With enemy forces rendered ineffectual, SEK-Borne returned to base.

Subject: Hessian Gunboat Raid

Guten tag. At approximately 700 hours (if my instrumentation is correct), I started my patrol with the RNC-Wulfsburg. Almost as soon as we started out patrol, we were ambushed along the lanes near Wildau by a Red Hessian gunboat. Lacking the ordnance to take on a heavily-armed gunboat at that time, we attempted to retreat to The Ring so that the Wulfsburg could rearm, and I could pull my bomber out of the hangar. Unfortunately, the Hesse gave chase, and we were forced to stand our ground above New Berlin. I sent out a distress signal over the neuralnet, and we engaged the Gunboat, where we were later joined by one BHG|Brave. It is due to this hunter and his bomber that we were able to defeat the Hessian so quickly, and great commendations go to him from my wing. In addition, Fregattenkapitan Kesselman and the crew of the RWK-Danzig were prompt in their arrival, and I can say in good faith that they would have felled the gunboat if we had failed.

Subject: Munich Patrols

Guten tag. This report is a bit late, as the week has been somewhat turbulent. As with my last report, I was attached to Korvettenkaiptan Mathew’s command. After some encounters with traders, we decided to move to the Munich system to investigate suspicious activity (as usual). It was above Planet Nuremburg where we encountered a junker captain named “Rick”, of the vessel Mount.Weather. With a scan being clean, Mathews moved to start traveling to Frankfurt, while I questioned the captain about his role in the so-called “Junker Congress”. He claimed to be the “Arbiter”, a high-ranking leader of the Congress, and passed on some information that the Hogosha are likely working with the dreaded Coalition. He also claimed that drinks are free to military personnel. Logs attached.
Afterwards, I moved to assist Mathews against a Hessian, where we were defeated. KoKpt. Harrisburg attempted to assist us, but was too late.
The following days were spent recovering in the hospital, and today I resumed my duties in Munich. I found a modular base in the Mining Field labeled an “Asteroid Miner” by my neuralnet, no doubt the work of hackers, or worse. It did not seem to be registered on the Government neuralnet, so I assume it to be an illegal installation. Visual feed attached.

Guten tag. On request of Konteradmiral v. Ehrenberg, I conducted an inspection of Munich Corp in the Munich system. The base granted me access when requested, and did not have any contraband on board. However, to the best of my knowledge, they do not have a permit.

Subject: Patrol report - New Berlin System, 13th November 826 A.S.

Guten Tag,
during my patrol around Planet New Berlin I encountered a transport ship with ID signature "tuber_duber". I ordered the ship's Kapitän to cut his engines and submit his ship to a cargo scan. At first the Kapitän followed my orders and held his position, but he changed his mind when I had found out that he has Black Market Munitions in his cargo hold. I ordered him to drop the cargo but he did not comply my request and he tried to bribe me. Natürlich I refused the offer, after a short while he started his engines and flew to the New Berlin's Mooring Point and docked. I managed to drop his shields down but unfortunately I was not fast enough to disable his ship. Hopefully the local authorities will find him soon enough.
