Guten tag,
After the Pinneberg reached it's deployment destination in Hamburg and assigned my men to their posts, i took the Valkyrie for a quick system check. Everything seemed quiet, until i ran into an Interspace ship. I asked him to hold and to submit for a cargo scan, which he didn't agree too very much. I had to disrupt the lane in order to stop him and force said scan, to my very surprise he was carrying an impressive amount of illegal commodities. I tried to talk him into dropping them but he maintained radio silent and attempted to flee, having to chase him down. In the end i lost my patience with him and i had no other alternative but to disable his vessel.

Conclusion: I find it extremely awkward that now when Liberty is increasing it's Naval forces close to our borders, that their very own Corporate employees are attempting to trespass illegal cargo, Black Market munitions nonetheless, through our space, it certainly makes me wonder. Perhaps we should increase our border patrols around Bering as well. I returned back to the Battleship safe and sound afterwards.

Guten Abend,

The fight for Omega-48's resources continues. Today I served aboard the KKS-Weltuntergang on damage control duty when the alarms rang. I have assumed my strapped-in position on the lower decks, ready to patch up our mighty vessel as required. The damage sustained was minor, and before I could even figure out who we were fighting the battle was over. Apparently, the coalition cruiser CPW-Toothed~Sycle has attempted to fight our vessel head-on. Not their brightest idea.
This wasn't all, however, soon after that a massive battle has broken out as their reinforcements poured in against our arriving fleet! We were eventually forced to retreat, but not before inflicting heavy losses upon the Coalition!

Guten Abend Offiziere.
As Kapitanleutnant Klein is now assigned to guard the Hudson gate, I performed a preliminary scouting run of our borders within the Husdon system (Path 1, Path 2). In brief, no strange phenomena or indeed other vessels were detected. Indeed, old wrecks from our combats with the Navy during the war seemed untouched (gun cam footage: o o ), which implies the scavengers have not frequented the system.
I spent the next hours conducting live-firing exercises out of Bettleship Schwerin. After a resupply, I was made aware of CIC chatter, confirming the posting of Kapitanleutnant Klein to Hamburg. Soon after, the comms officer of the newly appointed task force confirmed my request for re-location to Soltau.
Upon my arrival to Soltau for re-supply, Kapitanleutnant Klein himself has made an appearance near the jumpgate in RNC-Pinneberg. After a brief communication, I requested my flight crew to transfer the Revenant-class to Soltau for easy access. Upon swapping vessels, I almost immediately ran across a transport acting with some suspicion (designation: KeyRoft). A scan of his cargo and hardpoints did not offer any unusual information, and I avoided disrupting its engines. A few moments later, Kapitanleutnant Klein ordered the transport to halt, but it did not do so, instead proceeding directly through the jump gate. I was not ordered to pursue. It is the recommendation of Kapitanleutnant Klein that this vessel be detained on sight, and its Kapitan interrogated about the failure to follow a lawful order.
Meanwhile, a well-known nuisance has been making himself felt in the wide-band system channel (designation: Omega.01). Kapitanleutnant Klein invited the pirate to visit us near the gate, and the scoundrel showed up on schedule. Kapitanleutnant Klein order me to engage, while he remained in the vicinity to keep watch on the trade route. Unfortunately, I was bested yet again, though covering fire from Soltau prevented any major damage to my ship. Omega, having made what I assume was his point, proceeded in the direction of Hannover, likely to refuel and resupply at Vierlande. As I waited for minor repairs, I once again engaged in simulator training.
Later that day, I and a number of other volunteers were quickly loaded onto a fast packet towards Gran Canaria in Omega-48. There, I took control of the Faust, a Roc-class, and proceeded to the developing combat scenario. Upon arriving on scene, I was ordered to engage the coalition cruiser, which I did to the best of my ability while receiving enemy fire from at least two sources. In the end, my ship was disabled, though I managed to do enough damage to the enemy vessel for it to be overpowered by the cruisers KKS-Adm.Graf.Spee and KKS-Weltundergang.

Guten Abend Offiziere.
As a follow-up to my previous report, I decided to examine the potential path taken by the suspicious merchant vessel KeyRoft. I plotted an approximate scouting vector (Path 1). Upon the conclusion of the leg, I detected a ship loitering in the Kielfeld. Upon brief interrogation, the vessel (designation: Treasure.Hunt; scan infocards: o o; guncam footage) revealed itself to be an independent salvager. As salvaging operations within Rheinland space are under ALG jurisdiction, I recommended that this individual contact their offices, and offered to escort him out of the area. This was done with no additional fuss, and the vessel jumped into the Hudson system. I followed afterwards, proceeding to Manitoba Station to confirm his exit from Rheinland space. I now turn to the other vessel which was detected by me near the jump gate.

Upon my exit back into Hamburg, I beheld a combat vessel of the Auxian Technocracy (designation: Revenant; scan infocard). Its presence in the system was concerning, as I was not aware of any prior clearance for this vessel’s visit to the system. However, for the time being I treated the vessel as any other well-armed freelancer. The cause of its visit soon revealed itself, as I detected two additional vessels in the area, communicating on an open short-range channel – a freelancer (designation: Ridgenose; scan inforcard) and a Bundschuh vessel (designation: Lena.Atzenbruck; scan infocard).
As standing orders are to take Bundschuh personnel in for questioning, I decided to enlist the Auxian vessel for assistance. Assured of its help should the need arise, I thus requested the Bundschuh vessel to follow me on board Soltau. This seemed to enrage the freelancer, who immediately assumed that I was taking in the Bundschuh in for a torture session. It seems that the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr has been soiled with the brutal reputation of the MND in the eyes of independent pilots. Further communications swiftly deteriorated as the Bundschuh enlisted the freelancer’s help, who was more than willing to fire upon my vessel. Unfortunately, the Auxian pilot failed to provide assistance, and instead reprimanded the Bundschuh pilot for opening fire. Once I confirmed that no assistance was forthcoming, I retreated towards Soltau.
Meanwhile, the Auxian pilot seemed eager to explain away the lack of assistance, performed a monetary transfer to pay for damages to my ship. I have transferred the amount to our shared database. Despite this gesture, I recommend that this vessel be placed under careful watch when in Rheinland space. The other two individuals have proven themselves to be enemy combatants by firing upon my vessel.
In the course of my conversation with the Auxian pilot, they revealed a potential Order presence in the Hudson system. I have forwarded this information directly to Kapitanleutnant Klein.

Subject: Incident in Neu Berlin – what may be my last report

I hope this message finds you well, Frau Oberleutanant.
I apologize in advance for dumping this into your lap, but old Kapitänleutnant Sittlingen instilled into me the discipline of keeping a good record. And if that means making a copy, then I am just being careful…
I am not sure about my current situation with the Oberkommando, though I suspect it has something to do with my conduct during the patrol outlined in that report. As it happens, my conduct during my latest patrol is, if anything, will appear even more contrary to guidelines which I fail to understand. As a member of the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr, I do what my duty demands! If I have to become “Der Sündenbock” for the service because of differing priorities within the Oberkommando, then that is to be my purpose…
(Beist stares off past the camera, taking a few deep breaths.)

In any case, my report.
I was advised by Schwerin of a potential incident in the Frankfurt system. It seems that during a tour of a Donau-class cruiser in the final stages of construction, a son of an aristocrat managed to bribe the maintenance crew into taking him on board. This individual then proceeded to fly the cruiser around the system, without an appropriate designation, and having changed the official name to that of the freelancer involved during the Nomad War. As I traveled to Frankfurt to investigate, the situation seemed to have resolved itself, with the vessel in question recalled back to Schwerin. Seeing as I was already en-route, I decided to make a sweep of the system.
On my way past Wilday in Neu Berlin, I encountered a Freelancer flying a repurposed Odin-class combat vessel (designation: Lea.Kaufman; scan infocard). While I am aware of the law regarding vessels of the enemy, this to me seemed like a gray area which warranted further investigation. For this reason, I allowed this individual to fly in formation, while I attempted to learn what she knows. For one, she was aware of the engagement with the coalition in Frankfurt only a week prior. As you are well aware Oberleutnant, besides the Wetzlar, myself, Flieger Wagner and yourself, only a freelancer and a Corsair vessel were part of this engagement. As I write this report, I am wondering how Frau Kaufman got a hold of this information… However, this did not occur to me at the time, and soon I had bigger problems to concern me.

Upon a circuit of Neu Berlin traffic lanes, I encountered an MND vessel (designation: Evelyn.Holzer; scan infocard) in conversation with a member of the Bundschuh (designation: Paul.Botzler; scan infocard). While I am not aware of individual members within the ranks of various organization that oppose the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr, the name Paul Botzler is certainly known to me. The simple fact that such a conversation was taking place, away from known sources of influence of RM and MND does not bode well for the trustworthiness of this particular operative. Indeed, as part of our conversation, Herr Botzler admitted to being in contact for half an hour before I arrived. Upon my request to assist with moving Herr Botzler to a detention room, Frau Holzer ultimately declined, preferring that they remain here. Indeed, Frau Holzer did not want to detain Herr Botzler at all. According to her, Herr Botzler is a political operative, not to be detained or attacked.
Not long after my arrival on the scene, I was greeted by another notable personage, the freelancer Charlie,Jukins. As the MND vessel seemed unwilling to detain Herr Botzler, I instead ordered Herr Jukins to proceed with me to Neu Berlin. With two independent contractors (designations: Ludwig.Shafen and Flash.Drive)on approach from Kolleda, and the seeming willingness to assist from Frau Kaufman, I believed that this encounter would end differently from last time. Naturally, this individual did everything in his power to convince all present on scene that he was not at fault, despite the Nomad equipment still mounted on his ship for all to see. This line was immediately picked up by the esteemed Herr Botzler, who as I originally suspected was simply itching for further provocation.

Additionally, an RHA combatant arrived on scene (designation: Ludwig.Wolf), immediately preceding to engage the MND vessel, and destroying it in due course. Meanwhile, none of the vessels I was hoping to count on for assistance actually engaged Herr Jukins, despite multiple orders to do so. Apparently, the word of a member of the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr does not have the same meaning as it used to carry... With the MND vessel disabled, I switched targets to the Hessian, with one of the contractors assisting at last. However, by then my ship has already suffered damage from engaging Jukins, and I was disabled myself in due course. I submit that the appearance of both Jukins, and later the RHA combatant on the scene of our conversation is a very convenient coincidence for Herr Botzler, allowing him to not fire a shot against myself or the MND vessel, and thus maintain his moral superiority. I will keep any remaining thoughts to myself, and let the logs speak in my place. If you or your superiors require my additional interpretation of the facts, I would be glad to provide it – assuming I survive the next few days with my career intact…

Guten Abend,

On patrol in the Frankfurt system I have encountered a Junker Liner Collector's.Paradise. The captain was seen harboring personnel in breach of Article Five: Enemies of the state and undesirable entities: Unioners, Das Wilde and Red Hessians.
In accordance with paragraphs §5.1. and §5.3. I have requested to take custody of said pilots. In the middle of this legal dispute and discussion, something surprising happened.

Three nearby vessels flying the flag of the Bundschuh movement have opened fire. I have not been paying attention to them for multiple reasons previously. Firstly, in accordance with the Holstein Accords, the Bundschuh have been pardoned of any previous crimes. Secondly, I regarded them as political activists that wouldn't assault an officer directly. And finally, I was in the middle of this legal dispute over the personnel.

The pilots were NWB|Tobias.Schmidt, NWB|Lena.Atzenbruck and NWB|Paul.Botzler. What began as a routine patrol and continued as a minor dispute over wage reimbursement for the requested illegal personnel quickly turned into a brutal battle for survival. I had the assistance of the bounty hunter BHG-Akula when the treachery began. We were suddenly outnumbered and outgunned, and in a bizarre twist of fate, one of the suicidal pilots decided to slam into my torpedoes, irreparably damaging both our vessels and putting them out of commission.

I am shocked and hurt by this betrayal. The Benevolent Kaiser and Rheinland have given these people a second chance at life, a chance to be part of something great - of the new unified Rheinland. They betrayed my trust, and have betrayed the very ideals political activism should stand for - avoidance of direct brutal violence and attempts at life of people simply doing their job and duty in enforcing the law.

Herr Großadmiral,

Revenant informed me about an SIS sighting within Rheinland.

Naturally i had to act accordingly, so i took upon myself to follow the lead. We found no sign of them, but i was given a scanner reading from Revenant's time in New Berlin only moments earlier. As Revenant headed for Bering, i remained in Hamburg near the planet.

Not long after and i received a transmission from the SIS, asking for permission to pass through Rheinland via escort.
I granted this, given the fact they are to be tolerated as ordered. We took the fastest route to Stuttgart's Omega-7 jump gate, encountering no issues on our way. The SIS, Agents Skirka and Pinkerton, relayed a message from Direktor Steiner. They are interested in hunting the rogue BIS asset (Rheinwehr Report #2569), therefore Direktor Steiner offers the SIS's assistance. Shortly after both agents left for Omega-7, a Praefect-class cruiser entered Stuttgart - the Navarra. It ignored me, proceeded to use the trade lane to Freiburg Station and then cruised in a bigger arc past Planet Stuttgart. Using Aalen as some sort of cover, it lost shields for an unknown reason and simply vanished from my scanners. The Westfalen's long range scanners picked up nothing, i relayed my findings to the system fleet. A closer investigation of Aalen's orbit yielded no results either.

As i intended to meet up with Revenant for the conversation i had been asked prior, we had little time to ponder on the nature of stars as planned - as Direktor Steiner himself turned up cloaked. My company noticed, he revealed his location and instead another type of conversation transpired. I am not sure in what capacity the SIS or the Direktor himself is working with the Technocracy or Revenant, but there seems to be at least some sort of relation. Another ship happened to come across us, the Bluefin - piloted by a certain Elise. Known from earlier reports. Steiner handed over seven Red Hessian pilots to me during our time in Omega-11.

Guten tag officers,

As per request of Admiral Mechthild von Herzsprung, the KKS-Raeren has been relocated to defend and patrol the Hudson system.
While patrolling the tradelanes between the Hamburg Jumpgate and the Manitoba station, we spotted an Unioner Gunboat with callsign "Leipzig".
We managed to get a scan on him. Turned out this ship held 2 Civilans and 3 Liberty Navy Pilots prisoner!

Once the Leipzig spotted me, He gave multiple threats to attack me if I didn't leave the system. Of course I reminded him that he was in a system with territories belonging to Rheinland and Liberty. He threatened me again after. My first priority was me trying to convince him to save the prisoners. Unfortunately this felt on deaf ears. He charged me not shortly after. Manitoba station couldn't spare any fighters, but it's station turrets did their best to provide covering fire.

Unfortunately the Unioner managed to disable my ship after a heavy fought battle. But not before I did some significant damage to him myself. Manitoba station's covering fire forced the Unioner ship to fall back and prevented him from tractoring my pod. After I got tractored into their Manitoba station, I requested a search party to find these prisoners.
