This is Jasper of the Gemstone. I am here with the help of some Lane Hacker friends. Thanks for your help. I have something to say that everyone should be privy to, not just us Pirates.
Aye...I'm a pirate. A respectable fellow, just born on a different planet and in another system. I am not a bad person, I don't kill at random like some. I have been attacked and pirated in a house system by a Military member. This is just unreasonable.
Now how many of you out there have ever changed jobs in your life? I know I have. Well a couple members of my crew had as well. They were reformed Bounty Hunters, turned trader like myself. Well they happen to be married to Outcast women, so guess where they live? Thats right, in Outcast territory. Now his family is from Rhienland, and his grandfather died recently. I had to go to Berlin to pick up a mining ship I had purchased, but had not been able to pick up yet. It worked out that he and his family, a wife, his 2 children, his brother; another former Bounty Hunter, his family as well, and the rest of our crew headed to New Berlin for the funeral. Being a tight group, we agreed to go together. I had a Hacker buddy get me some chis for the area to be friendly, worked great. Shows as a Hacker on IFF but worse can happen.
We got to New Berlin with minimal hassle. Attended the funeral and the family after. We wedre on Planet New Berlin for almost 3 days. We spent a small fortune in that time. We had no sooner lifted off from the planet, when Rhienland Military Hans Krieger hailed to stop.
Well as you can imagine we had had a bad time as it was coming to New Berlin for the funeral, so I was in no mood to fight or make waves. I shut down engines and hailed back. No problem, but I want no problems. I made sure to bring NO contraband, yeah even a pirate can be good sometimes. Not all of us are bad guys, some just have a job to do like any other. He told me since two of the people on my ship scanned as BHG he demanded I drpo my firends and crew. Not to mention the people that had just lost a family member well loved. I informed Hans they were not prisoners, but crew. He in different words called me a liar. I asked what of their rights. They had been thru enough having been here for a funeral. He became more demanding with his tone and the two agreed that they would go. It was more important that the passengers aboard and the families were more important than this misdirected pilots opinions. They suited up and launched to space. True men the two. Never have I been more proud of a friend. I told him this would NOT be unresponded to. I am forwarding this to the RM high command personally and expect something to be done. This is an OUTRAGE! I am no fool, nor a leader of an Empirre to back me. I make no ultimatums or threats. I only make this promise.
Hunters Josef and Geoff Mannheim will be returned to my crew and their families.
They left the fate of their family in my hands, not to mention I had passengers to be aware of.
Apparently even Rhienlanders are not safe in Rhienland these days. You are no longer guilty by action, but by history and association.
This pilot Hans will not be forgotten, nor his actions. RM as a whole is not being held responsible, just Hans. This pilot had better watch his six. His back, and maybe his soup.

I've been informed by our offices that a message has been received from a pirate trying to implicate myself in some sort of rights violation. I didn't really understand.
I've ordered those two men released since I thought they were prisoners inside the pirate ship. Who would've thought they were in fact associated with the said pirate? Had I figured this out before I'd have arranged for them to be directly transfered to the military prison for interrogation as soon as I handed them over to our ground forces. I'm sure though, our ground personnel managed to come up with this detail in their debriefing.
I'll see to it personally that the Bounty Hunter's Guild offices in New Berlin properly process those two individuals' transponder IDs erasing them as registered members of the BHG and marking them as known pirates. That way, next time I won't hesitate in dealing with their ship accordingly in fear that I might hurt innocent people.
Additionally I'd like to suggest that high command issues a warning letter to the BHG instructing them to handle their member listing and registering more carefully if they really expect us to treat them differently from mere Mercenaries from now on.
Also, for the record. If I'm ever caught trusting the word of a pirate I'd like to be handed over either to Kapitan sur Zee Topf or Korvettenkapitan Rall for immediate termination.

RepEx, I shall make this quick and short as I don't have much time for it. I've been receiving reports from several of my officers concerning your pilots, yes I mean complaints. From the reports I've seen, RepEx officers are not only attempting to control Rheinland space, but they're trying to give orders over official Rheinland Military pilots, on multiple occasions! No, I will not tell you which one of your pilots were doing it, because I want all of them told the same order to not.
So, let me put this through. You should know well we do not like other organizations attempting to control our space. Does the [Rheinland] Corporation ring a bell? Yes, you should know well what I ended up doing to them.
So I suggest giving your pilots a warning, as we don't want or need hostilities towards RepEx. Freelamen out

I just want to inform you all that, first and foremost, we are not the dominant military force in Rheinland. That is the job of the official state sponsored Rheinland Military. Our Black Talon companies goal and objective is to work with the RM not above it. Besides our main objective is to patrol the areas of space directly outside of Rheinland space. Also if I hear of one more instance of one of our employees giving "orders" to an RM officer, there will be hell to pay. If anything it is they who should be giving orders to us. I hope that I make myself perfectly clear here.

Further to our chairmans comments I would like to add that I am personally dissapointed that our superb reputation with the Rheinland Military has been spoiled by the comments of a couple of newer members. Black Talon has been working closely with the rheinland Military for some time now and we have received numerous reports of thanks for our help prior to this complaint. In response to this complaint I am now appointing all senoir officers with a new duty. All wing commanders and above including myself will commission a new fighter class ship with the designation - RepEx*BT-MP|name. As the name suggest this will be a Military Police force. The purpose of this force is to instill order and discipline within the ranks of the RepEx corporation. Where serious infringements of our policy occur then you can be assured that I WILL take direct and forcible action against any perpetrators of damage to the brand of RepEx.
Where appropriate the MP division will:
1. Liase with external and internal customers with regard to dispute.
2. Perform disciplinary action against accused including forcible destruction and grounding of their operational vehicles
3. Allocate a period of KOS to offenders and enforce their exile for a period of no less than one week and up to a maximum determined by myself or a senior member of the corporation
On a final note. In order for us to regain some face with the Rheinland Military I hereby Order all operational forces to move out to Gas Miner naha in Sigma 13. We will ensure the safety of all lawfull travellers and transports trading or operation in this sector which is a vital link between us and our friends and business colleagues in Kusari. please move your group assets to the GMG base in SIgma 13 with immediate effect. NO BLACK TALON FORCES ARE TO ENTER NEW BERLIN UNLESS REQUESTED BY [RM] OR ACCOMPANIED BY A CAPTAIN OR WING COMMANDER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

After scanning a number of traders in orbit of New Berlin our long range sensor stations detected an unknown ship in the Hamburg system. As the ship MP was stationed outside New Berlin I asked it's captain to protect the planet while I went to Hamburg to investigate. Our personnel reported the ship's transponder was transmitting the ship's registry as the 'Praetorian', suspicious of the name I contacted the pilot in open frequencies and demanded that he/she reported for inspection. The pilot refused, stating that I wouldn't like it if I inspect it. I ordered again and the pilot said it was leaving the system. I cut communications and made a sweep of the system trying to find the ship to no avail. I was then informed that the ship had moved to Frankfurt and also that Obergefreiter Quentin had just reported in for duty. I called in for Quentin and ordered him directly to Frankfurt to assist me. As we both arrived in Frankfurt the rogue ship fled to Sigma-13. Suggest this ship be dealt with extreme prejudice should it show up again in Rheinland.
As we were moving back to Planet New Berlin we picked up broken comms from a RepEx trading ship to what appeared to be a pirate. I requested through closed frequencies that RepEx gave me it's position, but as we made our final run to the Planet we picked up both the RepEx trader and a Bundschuh fighter named Dachshund. As we moved in I demanded to know what was happening. I asked RepEx if the other pilot was trying to pirate him. RepEx said, "Not yet!". I ordered Quentin to stick to the fighter's tail as I tried to assess the situation, but as soon as we moved to follow the fighter started shooting our military forces. We then opened fire and eventually downed the Bundschuh around The Ring.
After processing some more traders, we picked up two UOG ships in system. I ordered them to the Planet but they refused and moved to Dresden. Both me and Quentin moved to intercept, again having MP as defender of New Berlin in our absence. We found the UOG by the tradelanes, the ships were .:UOG:.A*Jaden and .:UOG:.A*CJD, both Raven's Talons IDed Molly. As we picked them up on our sensors I ordered that both stood down their vessels. As me and Quentin exited the tradelane both opened fire. We fought back and quickly managed to drop Jaden to one tenth his hull. He then entered evasive and neither me nor Quentin were succeeding in landing the final blow, as the ship's only preocupation was staying alive we moved to the next target. Victor Remond appeared to aid us and the ship CJD succumbed after some fight. We then moved back to Jaden, that was still orbiting the fight. He was a difficult target to hit, he wasn't fighting back, just avoiding our fire. Eventually he moved to the Omega-11 jumphole in his last attempt to flee. I then cut him short at the JH and as he couldn't make the jump, for a second he hesitated, that moment we finished him off.
The rest of the night was uneventful.

As I launched from New Berlin today I've picked up clear signs of pirating inside New Berlin. I promptly moved to the Sigma-13 JH area to find a Corsair Nephtys, registered Sinistre demanding money from a trader. I engaged the pirate and the trader managed to escape. A few minutes later the fighter was destroyed.
The same ship from yesterday, Praetorian, was spotted in Frankfurt, I moved to Hamburg to investigate other ships and then jumped directly to Frankfurt to try and find this ship. Confirmed it is an Outcast aligned ship. The ship fled the area to Sigma-13 as I entered the sytem. I've managed to perform a quick scan of the ship before it fled, to see a number of civilian and police pilots hostage of the Outcast.
Pilots OPHION in a Nephtys and Stardust in a Raven's Claw, Mercenary and Freelancer respectively, were ordered and escorted out of Rheinland.
A TBH Corsair bomber entered New Berlin and attacked one of the RepEx transports stationed at the planet. Unfortunately the ship managed the hit and run attack at RepEx. Although I did some serious damage to the ship it escaped to Sigma-13 before destruction.
An Outcast Raven's Talon, "The_PFJ",, was spotted first in Hamburg, followed to New Berlin. The ship was carrying 6 civilians and 20 units of Cardamine. Refused orders to stop and drop the hostages multiple times. The ship was destroyed in Dresden by both me and Obergefreiter Quentin.

I would like to report on the occurances this evening, I Entered the Sigma-13 system and met up with Aegis stationed by the New Berlin jump hole, we spoke for a minute and he commented that there was a NovaPG in system, I began recon, called in location, formed up with the cruiser and we engaged the Nova PG, then a TBH fighter engaged as well. After a relatively short flight I was able to dispatch both with the assistance of Aegis.
I can only assume that their pods were tractored in by Junkers and transported to their base where they had secondary fighters waiting for them there. They both then proceded to the New Berlin system where we reengaged them, two LC gunboats were destroyed in the fight, I was unable to check for survivors, I only hope some support crews will be able to check the asteroids for escape pods, I would hate to hear that all hands were lost. They did fight bravely. A bounty hunter engaged as well, and for some reason The Nova PG did not fire upon me, but I was not about to allow the corsair to escape, I persued his disintigrating ship through the sigma 13 jump hole. While I entered the system he engaged his cruise engines and ran away, most likely to the junker base, and I lost the contact there, shortly after the Nova PG flew by me and disappeared into the gas clouds. I do not know the status of the ship, or if it survived the gas clouds.
I can only hope that this can help our Intel of the system and the current situation.

I would like to add that after filing this report, I resumed my patrol, Engaged Phadreus Zeta, a corsair in Sigma 13 after they tried to tax me, they ran, and when I jumped through the Sigma-13 Jumphole I again reaqquired in New Berlin, Engaged the hostile, and another Corsair named Sinistre, (our good buddy)) engaged me as well, I dispatched Zeta, and then Major Zero entered the fight, and I also recieved assistance from Traders in the system with nanobots and Shield batteries. I think they are starting to realize that They too can do something to stop this pirate threat, one even fired upon Sinistre as he fled, which I find to be quite...what is the word I am looking for, Invigorating? They realize they are not so simple prey, and have begun running in convoys, making them a harder target. I do feel that our presence in Sigma-13 is doing some good.
