Dom'Kavosh Weapons Platform (not a submission) - Cilo - 06-23-2013

While exploring the far reaches of Alaska, Liberty Navy officials accidentally stumbled upon a jump hole to an unknown system never ventured before. Excited, they began exploring this new system and made an even bigger discovery. An ancient alien artifact, dysfunctional but structurally intact hovering in space. Liberty scientists soon began studying the artifact and found matching patterns with already discovered alien artifacts. The technology unmistakably belonged to the ancient alien race, the Dom'Kavosh. From studies conducted so far, Liberty scientists think that this object was once used as a weapons platform. However all attempts to activate the artifact have failed. The artifact seems to be missing some kind of power source. Liberty Navy have swept the system multiple times since then but have found nothing else.

I think its not bad.. but i wonder if those 'tentacles' would not make problems for the weapons to shoot from it?

The weapons won't be placed there. The weapons would be placed in the sidearms. That's what I thought. The glowing head is the brain of the object. Yeah Dom'Kavosh designs weren't just machines. They used to be artificially intelligent lifeforms like the nomads

But. I like it. It isn't to nomnom but still looks like it goes the direction. What else is planned about this?

That would be Nagilum, the end boss of Half Life one. And it's prolly the shape of that model resembling this frankenbaby a bit that prompted that posting.
