Haven Tactical Security-What You Need To Know

What are you and what do you do?
We at Haven Tactical Security are a private contracting group that does anything from escorting convoys to protecting miners. We also do birthday parties on occasion.

What is a private contracting company?
A private contracting company is a (usually) for-profit organization that employs paramilitary units for hire that protect civilian and military interests, be it public or private.

How can I hire you?
You can hire us by waving down an /HTS/ unit on duty if he is not already occupied with a task. For parties and convoys, ask for a representative via Netmail, 5.K.Y.P.3 protocols, or the Communications Channel.

How much will it cost?
Generally, our units will let you make an offer, however if you choose not to make one, then the unit in question will make one.

How do I join you?
Apply here. Recruitment is currently open.

How can I identify a unit in the field?
Our ships all fly under /HTS/ tags, for example /HTS/Misfit. Our gunships fly under /HTS/HCV-, our transports fly under /HTS/HLV-, and our freighters fly under /HTS/HFV-. All of our ships fly under a codename of sorts.

In the event that your transponders do not work, our ships are equipped with a state of the art IFF recognition system, which will display a Freelancer IFF under normal circumstances. In the case that your ship does not possess an IFF device, our pilots carry standard Freelancer identification papers.

In the very rare event that you are not able to identify his ID papers, here is a list of permitted vessels for use by HTS units.

Series CX "Scimitar" Border Worlds Light Fighter

Due to specifics in Pirate/Trader&Miner balance ,made both in 4.86 and 4.87 by the devs coming out of trader factions, scouting and guarding is useless since the traders&miners got buffed severely both on PvP level and both on credits/sec level. As result they just does not need protection.
Hence none is interested sadly.[Image: emoticon-00107-sweating.gif]
Example would be that for nearly 1 year play as bounty hunter I made 3 /three/ escort runs.
Traders prefer 1 miner or 1 hauler more instead of security, at the same time bigger factions have additional scout ships for their trader convoys. They hire only bounty hunters and mercs for hunting and killing the pirates but not to secure their shipments.
If you are interested in shooting stuff there is a lot of opportunity but none in escort/protection business.
