Goal: To provide jobs for citizens in need and promote our trade across Sirius. One of the ways we plan to do this is by building a trade center in Colorado.
(//ooRP Info): This faction will be a way for new members of the community to learn the ropes, and make a profit while doing so. Once we get more than three members, each week we'll go trading on some of the best routes in Sirius. What's so awesome about this? No matter what your ship size, you always get an equal share of the profits! Say three Storks and a Mammoth go trading, and the money they make in the end is 160 million credits altogether; 160 divided by four is 40. Each player gets 40 million credits. Even the guy in the Mammoth!
As well as that, I also plan to loan each new player enough money to buy a Large Transport for themselves. This loan will only be about 10 to 11 million dollars, and should be paid back within a month. More than enough time, with 2,000 units of cargo space. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Divisions
Trading: RI)-T- (The Trading Division is meant for the haulers, the people that move stuff, you know? They will also be a part of those weekly trading runs we'll be doing.)
Security: RI)-S- (The Security Division is for the Escorts, the people that keep us safe while we go trading. Each one should be paid about 5 to 10 million per trip, depending on the danger level. //If they get killed, they get paid anyways.)
Logistics: RI)-L- (These guys are the pro explorers. They go around Sirius scouting out potential trade routes, looking for the real money-makers. They also help out the new guys. //They also specialize in stuff regarding Player Owned Bases, so if we get that trading center opened up in Colorado, they'll take care of it.)

History
Eight hundred and fourteen years after settlement. Rockwell Interplanetary was founded. The founder, a 28 year old Libertonian man named Jason Rockwell. It all began as an independent organization that consisted of three transport captains; Klein Stockholm, Lilith Cooper, and Jason himself. Their goal at the time was to assist the IMG's mining operations in Dublin. Although that made friends, and a good deal of money, it also made enemies. The Mollys struck in force several times on RI's transports, dropping their numbers and effectively cutting off the routes they used. A few months of that put them out of business, and eventually out of Bretonia. With their organization crippled and bankrupt, they disbanded and went their separate ways. Klein joined up with Itasca Trading Company, and made a life for himself there. Lilith said her goodbyes and ventured deep into the Omicrons, never to be seen again. She probably became a Phoenix, knowing her. That left Jason. Alone and without a job, he left for Pennyslvania, and took up Helium mining in the cloud behind Erie. He saved his money for years, building up Rockwell Interplanetary to it's former state. Until today. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RE: Rockwell Interplanetary - Info and Feedback - LunaticOnTheGrass - 02-13-2014 Apparently we did something to make your group really angry. Good sweet baby Jesus H Christ lord and savior of men, that's enough to buy the IND a whole new fleet of cap8 Renzu Liners! What do you need THAT much money for to start a TRADING faction?! RE: Rockwell Interplanetary - Info and Feedback - DragonScythe - 02-14-2014 Because I like investing in things and I have big plans. Plus with all the bankruptcy happening to minor trading factions I want to be prepared. As for why we're supposedly so angry with the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, I made a mistake. This is the point of feedback threads! Thank you for helping me correct my mistakes. RE: Rockwell Interplanetary - Info and Feedback - DragonScythe - 02-14-2014 Updated. Also, gimme some advice, people! RE: Rockwell Interplanetary - Info and Feedback - DragonScythe - 02-15-2014 Some sort of rank system will be crammed into this thread as soon as I can figure out what they will be called. RE: Rockwell Interplanetary - Info and Feedback - DragonScythe - 02-16-2014 Ok, today is the day that marks the day as the day that I made the official pages for this unofficial faction. Since it is a trading faction, and trading earns money, I have decided the forgo to entire fund raising thing after all. People of all skill levels are welcome to join us, and if you are a new member and don't have money, a ship will be provided to get you on your way. Also, all trading "events" as it were, will have a specific date each week that can be made to fit peoples log on/off times. The money made on these trips will be divided equally between all of the people participating, so if a newbie shows up with a grizzly, he'll get as much as everyone else. Escorts and good trading routes will be provided for these to make the most money possible while still avoiding pirate encounters. The reason I made this text big is so that people will read it. As far as I know, no one has attempted this style of trading before, so I hope that it can bring new people to join us and make one of the most awesome trading factions ever! Forgive my bad punctuation and grammar, I'm just really excited to get this underway. EDIT: I made the pages! Each one has a link to the others, and the messagedump is the only place that doesn't have one to the recruitment page. I'm gonna resize the text above and not post here again until someone else does. |
