No one knows where he came from originally.
While he still appears to be a male human he has no identifiable marks.
On his hands there are no signs of any fingerprints.
His mouth missing all teeth and horribly disfigured all the way up to his nose.
Layers of skin seemingly bleached and no longer carry any pigmentation.
Even all the way down to his DNA has been completely and forever altered.
His body and mind are coursing with highly concentrated voluminous amounts of Cardamine.
Without extreme dosages of the drug he would die a horrible aganozing death.

What is known about him is he was found by a deep space patrol.
Outcasts one day performing patrol procedures were surprised by a bright luminous light.
The light dissipated and a large Nomad vessel appears before them.
Coming to a stop they stare in amazement at the ominous ship as a beam projects from its bow.
Inside the projected light holds what appears to be a glowing corpse.
As the body moves closer to the patrol craft the beam fades leaving it floating near the Outcast ships.
Suddenly a large lavender flash of light appears and the ship vanishes from sight.

The carcass glows with a bluish hue and floats lifeless in the void before them.
Upon closer inspection small signs of life are detected on the figure.
Fearing this maybe a gift from the "gods" the decision is made to tractor it in.
One ship being a gunboat beams it into a sealed containment unit and rushes it back to Alpha.
Once back on Malta and after an emergency decontamination procedure.
A series of life saving operations are performed and several life support machines are attached.
Along with all the various injuries covering the body, mouth and nose.
He also appears to be suffering from severe cardamine withdrawal.
Large amounts of the drug have to be injected just to keep him alive.
In fact the amount of dosage he is given would kill any other long term user of the substance.
It is determined that a prototype version that infuses liquid cardamine would be administered.
This form of the drug had never been successfully tested on any human before.
Every slave or test subject died shortly after having a severe psychotic episode within minutes of exposure.
After the prototype strand is introduced his vital signs increase rapidly.
A metal inhaler is engineered due to the extensive damage on his mouth and nose.
This delivers large amounts of the highly toxic drug into his system.
Only after it is implanted does he finally regain consciousness and is able to speak.
His voice muffled by the device but a small amplifier enables him to be heard clearly.

Now conscious and able to respond the doctors ask him where he is from.
They ask him if he knows how he got to the hospital and if he remembers being with the Nomads.
To each question he shakes his head "No" but pauses for a moment to point at a mirror across the room.
Motioning with his finger he indicates he wants to hold the looking glass.
Slowly and somewhat reluctantly one of the doctor hands it to him.
Staring into it he examines his new face never knowing what he looked like before this moment.
Along one side he sees some small raised metal lettering that reads: Advanced Delivery Device Infusing Cardamine.
One doctor asks if he could at least remember his name or what he was called before.
He again shakes his head negatively.
Respectfully he responds to the large menacing monster of a man as to what should they call him now.
Lowering the mirror he looks over his shoulder towards the doctor as he says..

"You may call me Addic."
