A question on ship renders for sigs? - nOmnomnOm - 02-27-2014

Well what I had done in the past was go out in space and take screen of the ship i wanted to DRAW.... but that doesnt work to well if I wana photoshop a ship... or it would take a lot of time.

Im wondering if there is a way to get like a render of the ships in game with any view of it that you can set and do. Any angle of it and so on that one can photoshop further later.

It would help a lot. Thanks!

There are a few methods of the madness, I'll shoot you a PM sometime later about your options.

Im gonna bump this thread.

I want to be able to render the Arrow in any angle without going in game and getting a bad quality.
I need the texture and the shape. I know its possible to make a thing where u get the model and can view it in 3D and share it online.

Can somone help?

I highly suggest you turn off background stars and just take those shots yourself via turret view.

turrent view with an arrow .... u cant achieve many angles with that unfortunately. either that or its really close and overlaps with the game interface.

Im interested in the Arrow to render off of. Im not sure what angle though and would have to play around with it. Interested in making sigs and Photoshopping a "paint job" on its hull.
