Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Kruger - 03-25-2014

The Radgeber Frederick Schneider got from the Vorsitzender and Stellvertretender Vorsitzender a request to arrange a meeting with the Guild masters of the Gas Miners Guild. He was surprised to see the request, but as he has spoken with both the Vorsitzender and Stellvertretender Vorsitzender he knew their intentions. So he arranged a meeting on a neutral ground, which is safe for both parties. The place he choose was Bonn Station, a police station of the Rheinland Federale Polizei. He did sent out two transmissions, one for the invitation of the Gas Miners Guild and one to the Rheinland Federale Polizei to arrange a conference room.

After the date was set, it was time for the Krüger Mineralien to make preparations. Helene Schmidt went to their armory and found a hand brace and a belt, while she knew an attack would be an option of the Gas Miners Guild master, she choose to respect the laws and rules the owners of the station provided. Of course she was not sure if the Guild master would do the same.

After her ship was refueled she took off along with Hans Hofmann towards Bonn Station to meet the Guild masters of the Gas Miners Guild. They did meet Ulrich Schweighöfer along with Jessica Axt in front of Bonn Station, there they waited until the Guild masters of the Gas Miners Guild would arrive.

GMG|~Taruko:Ishibashi: We would take them back to Sigma where they will face our laws.
GMG|~Taruko:Ishibashi: Because they attacked us in Sigma-13 system
GMG|~Taruko:Ishibashi: It should be under Guild's law forces... Don't worry, officer.
Kruger|Eta-16: Hans: Officer Carsten if i may add
RFP|Det.Laura.Carsten: Okay. But they will be in the Bonn jail during meeting. Just for security reasons.
Kruger|Eta-16: As a security captain we did have same readings in omega sistems during fight with infested population there
GMG|~Taruko:Ishibashi: Who said they are infested?
Kruger|Eta-16: We have records of the previous readings during few incidents

Kruger|Eta-16: Ja ich would like to sugest keeping those in special cells in case our suspicion is corect
GMG|GPS-Ohotsuku-kai: Katsuo-sama is growing impatient. Shall we, Schmidt-san?
Kruger|KMS-Lahnstein: Helene: Very well Katsuo, lets resume the conversation inside.
RFP|Det.Laura.Carsten: I already informed Bonn about the situation.
Kruger|KMS-Strasburg: We should continue our negotiations abord Bonn station, if I may suggest Helene?
GMG|GPS-Ohotsuku-kai: Aff. Requesting docking orders from the Bonn. Katsuo-sama will meet your people inside.
Kruger|KMS-Lahnstein: Helene: Indeed Ulrich we will.

Kruger|KMS-Strasburg: Urlich to Bonn Station, requesting to dock.
Kruger|KMS-Lahnstein: Requesting docking orders from Bonn station. Ulrich and I will meet you inside.

After docking on Bonn Station Helene Schmidt and Ulrich Schweighöfer took their gear and went to the conference room. Before they even stepped three foots outside their ship, an officer of the station security asked to come along to see if they have any concealed weapons. After the officer was done they finally were on their way to the conference room.

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Asbestos - 04-06-2014

Guild Master Taro Katsuo was surprised, to say the least. When his secretary brought the Kruger transmission to his attention he had initially frowned, as little good could ever come from listening to this particular Rheinland corporation, and even less so having to deal with them.

The Guild Master wasn't the only Gas Miner to feel this way. Ever since the Eighty, the Gas Miners Guild and its people suffered no feelings for Kruger or their employees but of those of pure hatred and an underlying, age-old resentment towards them, grown only stronger with each passing generation within the Guild. Displaying any feelings but those of burning hate towards Kruger was considered taboo, and those few who felt otherwise kept it to themselves.

So Katsuo was surprised indeed, and said so to his secretary that brought the message to him on a data-pad. The transmission from Kruger told nothing but of a proposed meeting aboard the Bonn Station in New Berlin. He briefly wondered what they could want, before he thought better of it.
"Of course", he said to himself, "they'll want leeway in the Sigmas".
Nothing new there. Guild Paramilitary patrols enjoyed themselves chasing down treaty-violating Kruger ships trespassing through the Sigmas. Surely had Kruger tired of it, as this wouldn't be the first time they'd come to the Guild with wishes to traverse through the Sigmas legally. Wishes that had gone unfilled every time, including today, Katsuo thought.

Katsuo had no time to listen to Kruger's plea, and dismissed the message from them by handing back the pad to Naomi, his secretary. She had remained at his side when he hastily read the message, knowing that the Guild Master would dismiss the message without a second thought, as she had already read the message herself. She knew how he felt about Kruger; hate, just like every other Gas Miner. However, Naomi didn't share this sentiment with her fellow Guildsmen.
Her father and his side of the family were all Rheinlanders, with him having met her mother during a business trip to Honshu. She knew that Rheinlanders weren't bad people, as she'd spent much of her youth in Rheinland, even going as far as to discover that her father's ancestors fought in the Eighty on the Imperial and Kruger side against the Guild. She'd wisely kept this information to herself, fearing ramification from the Guild.

Being handed the data-pad from the Guild Master, Naomi asked,
"Wouldn't you want to hear them out? They seem to have gone trough quite a lot of trouble just to meet with us, aboard the Bonn of all places."
"Good," Katsuo replied, "then they've wasted their time and money, but I will not have them waste ours."
"Very well, Katsuo-sama, though I can't help but wonder what they'd believe could please us," she said, leadingly.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm merely speaking my mind, forgive me Katsuo-sama." she turned around as to leave when she spoke.
"No," he said, as he put his hand on her arm to stop her, "please, go on." He was becoming interested.
"It's just silly rumors, really, but I spoke with my father earlier, and..." she feigned hesitation.
Katsuo said nothing, though Naomi could definitely see in his eyes that he was intrigued.
"He's on New Berlin, as you know, and he spoke to an entrepreneur in a hotel bar there. Apparently, the entrepreneur had worked out on the Mannheim Station in Frankfurt, phasing out and replacing old gas refining tech with something to do with nuclear materials and ALG manufactured machines. My father jokingly said that Kruger must be abandoning the gas mining industry, though I wouldn't solely rely on the word of a drunken blue-collar worker."
"I see." Katsuo simply said, and paused for a moment. Naomi could see that he was considering what she had just said. "Can I see that pad again?" he asked when he spoke again. He skimmed through it once again, before finally speaking again.
"Could you please bring me a bowl of Sake, Naomi-chan, I need a moment to contemplate."
Naomi hurriedly bowed and left Katsuo's office, only to return a short while later carrying a tray of steaming-hot Sake and a light meal. Katsuo was sitting in his chair facing away from her, apparently looking nowhere particular, seemingly lost in thought. When she carefully placed the tray on of his desk, she noticed the data-pad had been left on it as well. She picked it up to take it away, and saw that a message draft had been written on it.
"Arigato, Naomi-chan," Katsuo suddenly spoke, "you can leave the Sake on the desk and forward my reply to the Kruger advisor. Let me know when they're calling back." He never turned around in his chair when he spoke, as he kept looking the other way.
"Hai, Katsuo-sama", she bowed and left his office, believing that she'd just done a small favor for the Guild and the people of Rheinland.

---------------------------------------------------------------

"Typical Rheinland trait," Katsuo said to Hiromichi Shino, one of his esteemed Seibyou and appointed bodyguards for the trip to Rheinland. They were aboard a simple yet heavily armed and armored Kamome ship, the Ohotsuku-kai, commonly joked within the Paramilitary as the Guild Masters' own miniature battleship. They had just arrived under escort by Paramilitary and Bundespolizei pilots to the Bonn Station, where the meeting with the Kruger representatives would take place.
"It's either this, or a damned parade." Hiromichi added, with a hint of ridicule. They'd been met by the Kruger delegation outside Bonn Station, consisting of several luxurious Yachts and civilian designed gunboats. A ridiculous show in the eyes of the Gas Miners, whom all knew better than to be dazzled by this sight of vain vanity. Hiromichi wondered if it was supposed to be a show of force or wealth, maybe even both, and if this was all that Kruger could scrape together for such an occasion.
"Thank the Crow we've been spared of that then." Katsuo replied, and continued, "Have the pilot contact Bonn Control as soon as possible, and bring us to port. I have no desire to stay here a moment longer than we have to, and would rather sooner return home."
"Hai, sensei!" Hiromichi acknowledged, and started to hit buttons on his arm-mounted data-pad, relaying orders and messages across the ship without delay.

Moments later, Bonn Control had cleared the Ohotsuku-kai and the ship docked with the station. Due to the ships' rather small and simple size, especially in comparison with other designs of the same class, they were able to park the ship inside one of the larger hangars aboard the Bonn Station. The Guild Master and his entourage of bodyguards and advisors prepared themselves to disembark, when Katsuo spoke to his fellow Guildsmen:
"We're guests here in Rheinland space and on their station, and I have no doubts that we'll all respect their hospitality during our brief stay here- That said, however, I will not have us forget who we're meeting with here. Remain vigilant and suspicious, as I have no intention of us being on the wrong end of the stick when Kruger tries to deceive us. On the tiniest sign of treachery, this meeting is over."
The Guild party had prepared themselves accordingly, all of them donning holsters with sidearms, and the bodyguards wearing light-weight material body armor integrated into their uniforms, with automatic personal defense weapons slung across their chests. None of them trusted Kruger to their words, and wouldn't even be in the same room as them without being armed.
"Have the station security ready to clear us through to the conference hall, Hiromichi-san, I'll be a moment."
"Hai sensei, I'll see to it personally!" Hiromichi scurried away down the ship's corridor to the access doors, followed by the rest of the party.
Katsuo turned to face Jomyo Meishu, another one of his trusted Seibyou.
"You have your instructions, Jomyo-san. Stay within comms range and I'll contact you if the need arises, so remain ready in the event of it."
"Understood, sensei. We'll wait to lift-off and depart until we've seen you leave the hangar. We'll be ready."
Katsuo nodded in agreement, turning to leave for the ship's exit. He caught up with the rest of the party at the access doors, and saw that they were still waiting to disembark. Across the open ship doors, he could see that station security personnel were waiting for them.

Helene Schmidt and Ulrich Schweighöfer arrived at the conference room. Ulrich held the door open for Helene as she entered the room and it seemed they were the first to arrive. Helene took a walk through the room, while looking outside the big window which had a clear view on Battleship Strausberg. If looked closely you could see in the distance Essen and Dortmund station. She slowly walked to a chair on head side of the table.
“Ulrich, have you brought the datapad with the info I asked for?”
‘’Yes ma'am, I’ve got it right here as you requested.’’
Ulrich opened his briefcase took the datapad and handed it over to Helene. She took the datapad and did take a quick look on it.
“It seems everything is there, I wonder if they have a clue why we have invited them.”
Then she stretched it out to Ulrich
“Keep it safe for now.”
Ulrich took the datapad back and nodded as a sign of confirmation, placed it back in the briefcase and locked it.
‘’I’ll go the the bar to ask for a bottle of mineral water, to have refreshment near by. Do you want me to take something for you as well?”
Helene looked at the door, no sign was shown or heard about any presence of the guests.
“Please give me some orange juice.”
‘’I’ll get them quickly’’
Ulrich went to the bar for a bottle of mineral water, an orange juice and bucket of ice. He came back to the conference room and placed them on the round table, pulled out a chair and sat down.
‘’Drinks are ready for taking Helene, I suggest you grab them while they are still cold. About those clues you were wondering about, I don’t think they have any, but they will see it soon enough.’’
Helene nods and takes a sip from her orange juice.
“I am sure they will be surprised, but lets see how it will evolve.”
Ulrich raised his hand with his glass of water, and just as he was about to drink it said...
‘’I’m sure they will be.”

Müller saw from the distance the Liners moored at the other side of the station, almost 3 kilometers away from Docking Bay Four where he was landing. Bonn was a huge station. The Polizei taking control of it was a good thing, they were in need of such a magnificent base in space.

Of course, several years of war and the station being praticaly abandoned for some time led to its decay. Repairs were under way, but there was still much to be done. The docking bays and mooring wings were already functional, the Administration levels repairs were going well, the habitat wings and public areas were next on the list.

After his ship was safely parked, Müller stepped off the cockpit and talked to the docking chief:

"I'm Wachmann Thomas Müller, I was sent here by the Polizei high command to oversee the security measures for the meeting... I see our guests already arrived. Who is in charge of the security here?"

"That would be Wachtmeister Klein, he is at Docking Bay 14, one of the big ones... its at the mooring wing, on the other side of the station. You can take that lift over there, sir." - said the chief.

"Thanks!" said Müller, while he passed his helmet, backpack and other pilot gear he had on him to the docking workers arriving to service his fighter. He then picked up his Polizei officer jacket and his sunglasses from the small cargo compartment besides the cockpit, and walked to the lift.

As he was being transported through the station, he was thinking on the mission ahead. A meeting between Kruger and the GMG. Very unexpected. The young officer was certain that the GMG were suspicious of their guests intentions, due to their past history. They even were granted authorization to have armed security officers aboard Bonn. That would make Müller's job an even more delicate matter.

He exited the lift, and encountered a security detachment ready to receive the guests that were about to exit their transport. Müller walked faster up to the security chief, offering his hand to shake. The wachtmeister gave him a military salute. Müller moved his right hand up and down, in a quick gesture to dismiss the salute.

"I'm Wachmann Müller. Everything ready, wachtmeister?"

"Yes, Herr Müller" - said the tall, blond man, lowering his arm. Thomas had to look up to face the guy - "We have secured the way from here to the conference room, and have increased security patrols in other areas of the station. The emergency team is on stand-by."

"Good..." - said Müller - "My superiors told me to avoid a bloodshed. Let's try to do that, ja?

"Of course, Herr Müller, but I think we will be lucky if we get out of this in one piece, sir..."

Müller looked somewhat surprised at the security chief, but right then the GMG delegation started to exit their ship. The young pilot then walked 2 steps foward, put his arms to his sides and bent his body foward about 45 degrees, hopefully mimicking the kusarian salute.

"Greetings, gentlemen. I am Wachmann Thomas Müller of the Bundespolizei. Welcome to Bonn station. We are honored with the opportunity to host such an unexpected meeting." - while he talked, Müller noticed the armed bodyguards - "Well, I am not to take your time, so our security chief, Herr Klein here, will escort you gentlemen to the conference room. I hope you have a fruitful stay in our base."

The young officer was a little nervous... But right now he had to make sure the preparations were all set on the Kruger side also.

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Asbestos - 04-12-2014

Hiromichi Shino were first to step forward through the open access doors of the Kamome and down its ramp, where the station security detail were waiting to greet him and the rest of the GMG delegation. An old wound had left him with a limp, quite noticeable as he stepped down the ramp. As he did so, he and his party were met by a man wearing the uniform of an Rheinland Federal Police officer. The man introduced himself as Wachmann Thomas Müller and formally greeted the GMG visitors to Bonn. As Müller greeted them, Hiromichi took notice of the officers attempt at bowing in the manner of a traditional Kusarian.
"Thank you, Wachmann." Hiromichi replied, "I for one, am glad to see Rheinland again." Instead of returning the bow, Hiromichi shook the Wachmanns hand in a friendly manner, "My name is Hiromichi Shino, Guild Master Katsuo-sama's chief security officer. If there are any security questions related to our visit, you may turn to me. We're not here to make your job any tougher, though we had to take certain precautions to guarantee the Guild Master's safety."
As Hiromichi ended his last sentence, he turned around to see the Guild Master catching up to the rest of the party. He turned to face the apparent station security chief.
"Mr Klein, we're ready to be shown to the conference room, if you would, please."

From aboard the Kamome transport, Jomyo Meishu observed the GMG delegation as they were escorted out of the hangar to their meeting with Kruger. He inputted a couple of commands on his PDA, and as a few seconds passed, he could hear the sound of doors closing echoing across the ship. He started walking and made his way towards the ship's bridge. After a few moments, he felt the entire ship tremble beneath his feet as the engines were powering up. The pilot must have finished with his checklists and would soon be ready to launch the transport back into open space.
Jomyo arrived at the bridge just in time to overhear Bonn Control clearing the Ohotsuku-kai for departure.
"Ohotsuku-kai, roger that Bonn Control, launch at own discretion." The pilot responded. Jomyo walked up to the pilot's seat to stand behind him and looked out above the pilot's head. The docking bay had been cleared of any personnel and vented of atmosphere, and the gigantic hangar door were opening slowly, exposing the bay to the coldness of space. The Kamome carefully maneuvered itself through the open hangar door and moments later fully cleared itself of the station. The pilot flew the transport slowly past the Battleship Strausberg. Jomyo couldn't help by being awed by the immense sight, and he truly admired his predecessors who went up against such vast and powerful warships willingly for the Guild, often laying down their lives to cripple and destroy the Imperial fleets. Jomyo too, longed for such glory, and wouldn't hesitate to offer his life for his sensei and the Guild.
"Course set for Essen.", the pilot said, snapping Jomyo back to the present.
"Aff, but keep us within short-range comms of Bonn, so Katsuo-sama can reach us."
"Hai, seibyou!" The pilot engaged the ship's cruise engines, and Jomyo could swear he felt the faint surge of it, even though he knew that it'd be impossible to feel it, at least while the internal dampeners were functioning properly. Jomyo looked out of the windows of the bridge yet again, into the emptiness of space. He was feeling anxious, though he wasn't sure if it was because of his own excitement, or the fear for his Guildsmen being left aboard the Bonn. He decided to remain calm and set aside those thoughts, and simply said to himself:
"And now we wait..."

---------------------------------------------------------------

As the GMG delegation were being led by a security team towards the conference room, the limp Hiromichi Shino walked in front of the others of his group with only his thoughts to accompany him. He remembered his last time in Rheinland, during his brief stay with the RFP. He knew them to be professional and most diligent in their work, and he had no reason to distrust them. Few Guildsmen had. It was different with the military and Kruger, especially Kruger. Where none trusted Kruger, only a few would trust the Rheinland military. With the Sigma Trade Pact brokered between the Guild and the House of Rheinland almost five years ago, it had been the first step towards normalization between them in over a hundred years. But the Guild had remained cautious and alert, though for the most part cooperative towards the House. Hiromichi wondered if this meeting with Kruger would be another stepping stone towards normalization with Rheinland, but he had his doubts. He instinctively patted his chest slung PDW to assure himself that his sensei would remain safe for as long as he himself could still draw breath.

As the group approached the conference room, security officers held the door open for them. Guild Master Taro Katsuo could see Hiromichi Shino walking into the room first, followed by a pair of Katsuo's bodyguards and the rest of the representatives. Katsuo followed suit, with another pair of bodyguards directly in tow. The room was clearly divided, with the GMG representatives standing on one side of the table, a man and a woman on the other, unmistakably Kruger. Katsuo himself was dressed in a simple yet elegant gray suit, with the logo of the Guild sewn upon his chest pocket. The other representatives wore dull suits as well, with only the bodyguards in their bright white and teal GMG uniforms providing any distinctive colors in their group.

Katsuo wasted no time with false pleasantries and with only the slightest of nods, he addressed the lone man and woman across the room:
"Why am I here?"

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Kruger - 04-19-2014

“Guten tag Herr Katsuo, I want to thank you again for accepting our invitation. Surely you will wonder why we asked for a private meeting, it will be addressed in a moment. I am certain you are a very busy man and we both share a common interest. But before we start I want to ask an Officer to join us, Ulrich would you please let him inside the room?”

Ulrich nods and walks to the door where Katsuo just came from, Ulrich is looking Katsuo straight in the eyes when he passes him and then heads towards the door. He opens the door looks on the corridor and sees an Officer.
“We would like you to join the meeting herr officer.”

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Doria - 04-21-2014

"What?! Me?" - Thomas was surprised that his presence was requested inside the conference room - "Well... Ok, then."

He walks inside the large room. The Kruger official closes the door behind him.

"Thanks. I am Wachmann Müller, but I was sent here by my superiors only to supervise the security measures for the meeting... I was not told that my presence would be required at the meeting" - he looked around the room - "My apologies, but if you could please explain it, sir, I thank you."

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Kruger - 04-28-2014

After Ulrich Schweighöfer closed the door behind the Officer of the Rheinland Federal Polizei, he started to walk back towards Helene Schmidt.
“Guten tag Wachmann Müller, we wouldn’t want to risk anything if it comes to our safety, not even towards the Gas Miners Guild. If you would keep an observation over here?”
Ulrich points to a spot near the door where the officer just entered the room from, where he cannot hear the conversation, but can see the meeting in clear sight. Then Ulrich walked to the chair next to Helene and sat down. Helene nodded to Ulrich.
“Well Herr Katsuo I am certain you will wonder why you are asked to join this meeting? The 80 year old war is surely still within the minds of your as of our men, but I think we could resolve this for both sides.“
Helene looks towards Ulrich and did make a wink without Katsuo or the officer even noticing.
“We had recently received reports about members of the Guild intercepting our vessels, or at least trying too. Some succeeded and some failed, also I did hear of Krüger forces doing the exact same thing. I am not going to point out a finger here, we are both to blame and we have had a history. Now due to recent events we wanted to negotiate about some mutual agreement, one which might interest you.”
Helene takes a sip from her orange juice and continues.
“The Rheinland is paying a LOT for the H-fuel you supply to our nation, but we rather produce it ourselves. Certainly this would involve into giving us access towards some of the Helium-3 spots within the Sigma’s, mainly Sigma-13 and Sigma-19. Our goal is to solely provide Rheinland with cheap H-Fuel using our limited production capacity while buying the remaining H-Fuel which we cannot produce ourselves cheap from your Guild.”
Helene Schmidt takes a small breath.

“Furthermore we want to keep the illusion that this meeting would have been a failure, so you could provide us and gather intelligence about the Red Hessian Army their relations towards certain factions who would be a problem for the Rheinland. Yet we will decrease the activity our ships to intercept members of the Gas Miners Guild within the Sigma’s. This is only to keep up the illusion towards others, we wish however to gain some more advanced technology about gathering the Helium-3. I am certain you could provide us some older models of your mining lasers?”

Ulrich takes a look at Helene and she nods “Ulrich could you please hand over the datapad to the Guildmeister Katsuo, make sure he can easily find the other parts as well.”
Ulrich Schweighöfer walks towards the Guildmeister Katsuo and hand him over the datapad.
“Don’t worry, we have copies of this, not to mention other incidents.” then he walks towards the table and takes his glass into his hands and takes a sip from it. “You can see for yourself Guildmeister Katsuo, we have enough to let the Rheinland cut the relations with you. But our goals are for a strong Rheinland, so sometimes things like this have to be done to find out the exact allies of our enemies. In this case, you took the shortest straw. Now it is up to you to follow up our demands, or to let us handle it by the authorities.”
Ulrich Schweighöfer takes a look at Wachmann Müller, who could not hear a word about their conversation.
“I did hear however that the newly built prison on Bonn station is well equipped, but I am sure we can reach some kind of an agreement. One which will benefit both the Rheinland and the Gas Miners Guild, also a little bit ourselves.”

Müller was outraged. "What does this pompous %#$%$ think I am?!" - he was thinking to himself - "His lapdog, that he can order around? The son of a..." - at that moment, the Kruger representative looked at him, and Müller faked a smile. It was not very convincing.

Suddenly, his communicator started to beep. Müller puts his right hand on his earpiece: "What? Ok, I am on my way."

He then looks at the Kruger and GMG personel: "Sorry, I have to check on something, I will be right back..."

With that, he opens the heavy door at his side and exits the room. He mumbles some improprieties with himself while walking to the Control Room, not too far away from the Conference Room. He stops at the door: "Open, please." He says to his communicator. The door opens. Wachtmeister Klein is waiting for him inside.

Müller closes the door, and sits beside Klein. "Whew! Thanks for that, Klein! You took me out of that ridiculous situation... I owe you one. Beer is on me after this is over..."

"Well, no problem, Herr Müller... I noticed by the image that you were getting really angry about it..." - said Klein.

"Indeed I was, my friend... Indeed I was... Thanks again for the rescue..." - said the young officer, now more calm - "So, everything is alright? Do you have good audio? Have they detected anything?"

"No sir, they have not detected anything. They didn't even tried to scan the room, as far as I know. And, yes, the audio is good. We will have a good transcript for the Oberkommando." - answered Klein - "Our sensor grid is working fine in the entire station, sir. If one of the women in this station were pregnant, we would know it."

"Good job, Herr Klein. Good job!" - Thomas was less angry now.

RE: Kruger Meeting GMG with unknown intentions... - Asbestos - 05-04-2014

The charade on Krugers part were expected. Guild Master Taro Katsuo had attended enough meetings and conferences throughout his life to expect this very thing. Simple-minded theatrics, he thought. Though he wouldn't allow it to phase him. He'd already asked why they were there, and would now carefully listen to each word as the Kruger representatives spoke. He knew better than to reveal any emotions or involuntary reactions as Kruger rambled on.
Hiromichi Shino on the other hand, a young and impulsive pilot and a member of the Katsuo no Seibyou at that, was not nearly as discreet with his facial expressions and bodily behavior. His entire body stiffened with anger as the Kruger harlot spoke of the past, the Eighty and that they had the nerve to say that all involved held equal blame. He'd probably killed people for less, he imagined. When she so nonchalantly spoke of giving Kruger access to the Sigmas and to let them mine the gases there, Hiromichi almost exploded. Seething with anger, he envisioned himself gunning her down in a hail of fire. Naturally, he knew better than that. Confident that the Guild Master would deal with her and her companion, Hiromichi slowly calmed down, though instinctively rested his hand upon his personal weapon, all the while Kruger went on with their threats and extortion. As they did so, Hiromichi took note of Wachmann Müller excusing himself and leaving the room. He briefly wondered why, but then realized how easy it now would be to blast these Kruger bastards full of holes.

Aboard the Ohotsuku-kai, Jomyo Meishu made sure that they still had contact with the GMG delegation aboard Bonn. He thought about the detailed instructions previously given to him by his sensei, and hoped it wouldn't have to come to that, as that would mean that the Guild Master must be in immediate danger. That in mind however, Jomyo had meticulously followed the given instructions and wouldn't leave anything to chance. He and his men were ready. Ready and waiting for the command, or rather, the lack of it.

"Is this some sort of a crude joke?" Taro Katsuo had patiently sat down in a chair and listened to the Kruger representatives, without interrupting them once. Not that he couldn't or didn't want to, but he decided that it would be rather appropriate to let them dig their own graves by talking.
"If so, I'm not amused." Katsuo had glanced over the data-pad given to him by the man called Ulrich, though the information on it didn't disturb him the slightest. He imagined that Kruger expected a different reaction.
"This is what you're negotiating with?" He asked, slightly raising an eyebrow. "This... this is nothing but even more evidence of Kruger vessels violating the established Treaty of Sigma-13 and GMG territorial laws, as well as destroying Guild property." Katsuo remained calm but his tone was nevertheless threatening.
"Go ahead, send us more reports of incidents such as these. You certainly seem stupid enough to do so. Knowing Kruger, it'll be of Libertonian fuel transports in Okinawa, with you screaming murder and attacking them. Laughable. And this one?" Katsuo held up the data-pad previously given to him, "We'll keep this. I'm certain that the Bundespolizei would like to see this as you've so prudently implied." He handed the data-pad to one of his men to copy the incriminating data.
"This isn't the only report we'll have of Kruger violating the Treaty, as you know. We've grown very tired of your repeating pattern of trespassing and meager threats of violence. You're grasping for straws with this feeble attempt at extortion, and we'll see so that you pay dearly for it." Katsuo stood up, "As stupid as you are, I must credit you for being smart enough to have the meeting here. Had it been held elsewhere, outside of Rheinland, you wouldn't leave the meeting alive. Be gracious that we, unlike you, abide the law."
The Guild Master turned to leave, though paused between two steps, looking back at the Kruger representatives,
"Oh, and there'll be no need to fake appearances of a failed meeting. For it was nothing but. This meeting is over." With that, Katsou left the room with his party in tow, heading towards the docking bays.

Anticipating the meeting going sour beforehand, Katsuo had arranged an anonymous Freelance pilot to take him and his brethren away from the station. Unfortunately, the pilot had been delayed in space for reasons unknown, and had to regretfully inform his contact in the GMG delegation that his shuttle weren't going to be make it to Bonn for at least a couple of hours. Neither Katsuo or his men were willing to stay on the station any longer than they had to, and now that the meeting had definitely gone south, they were quite anxious to leave.
As party walked along the lengthy corridors to Bonn's docking bays, Hiromichi spoke with Katsuo, informing his sensei of the hiccup of transportation.
"Any other ideas, Hiromichi-san? Pleasant as Bonn may be, I have no intention of seeing the inside of one of it's cells. I don't trust those Kruger rats."
"Aff sensei! I seem to recalled a Daumann freighter docking with the station as we did, perhaps they're still aboard the station." Hiromichi rapidly hit buttons on his data-pad, trying to access the open neural-net and scheduled arrivals and departures of ships at Bonn. After a few seconds, Hiromichi spoke again,
"We're in luck, they're still on the station, refueling. Want me to contact their crew and ask them for a ride, sensei? There are others, though perhaps less reliable..."
"Contact the Daumann crew, let them know it's urgent." Katsuo looked at his watch while he spoke, and thought there's still time...
"Hai sensei!" Hiromichi hit once more on the buttons of his data-pad in a rapid succession, compiling and sending a urgent message to the Daumann freighter captain.
