Suggestion: Connect Rheinland and Liberty again - Mímir - 08-28-2014
Hello.
Since the jumpgates were blocked, the number of raids from Rheinland have decreased. I guess that was the intention.
However, that leads to a surplus of capital ships in Liberty with nothing sensible to do. Even at the slightest chance of action happening, you'll quickly see a handful of caps dispatched. It seems like it is fairly boring to be a capital ship pilot these days, in other words. Not to mention how it can be fairly boring being a lone fighter getting chased by a small armada.
So, for the sake of activity and something meaningful to do, would it be possible to re-open the jumpgates, so the Navy can concern itself with Navy stuff once again?

Or at least clear a path through the asteroid fields for the battleships to pass through, right now the trip is /stuck x 9999 very frustrating.

Yes please. The whole 'blow up the Bering gate' was a stupid idea that killed activity for the sake of advancing a plot. Sometimes such moves are good, however evidently that is not the case here.

Funfact: there is also a Jumphole still going from Hamburg to Bering. Why not use that?

Have you tried taking a turtle from rheinland to liberty that way?
The fact of the matter is that the number of raids have declined, the RNC-people I have talked to state that this is the reason (so it works, if that was the intention), so there is no real point theorizing about it. This is what people say they experience.

People can use whatever arguments they can like to justify the destruction of the jump gate, or to give reasons why the RNC are lazy and should just use the jump gate...
But the undeniable proof is there. Raids have indeed decreased.
This is also evident in the Hispanic Omicrons too.
