Another thing, of course you dont have a restricted ZOI as freelancer, but do you have a prefered sector or a home system?

I think that Freelancing Pirates stands for Freelancers using Pirate ID, and about other factions we have some pirate factions in the Diplomacy Column however our enemies will increase depending on our contracts, if a pirate attacks a convoy we are protecting, even if not in unfriendly, we will attack because we protect the contract not our neutral diplomacy with some pirates.

Didn't thought to introduce in draft ZOI or prefered home system, however we might had some info about that in the future.

Thank you larzac.

The writeup looks good. I do have some questions though.

Is your group using just the Freelancer ID or are you using multiple IDs?

I ask this due to a discussion with one of your ships in game [FL-ER]Engr.Jervasio just a few minutes ago. At first he asked if my Molly would mine for him. Then he decided not to after I mentioned that if he wasn't on the Coin's access list the base would shoot him (didn't want a customer blown up obviously). He then proceeded to tell me that [FL-ER] faction is at war with the Mollys. (Something I was unaware of.)

When asked why we're at war he stated that Mollys had declared it in attacking the [FL-ER] base in Dublin. Specifically he stated that the base was Hochschild Gold Mining PLC. While it's true that I did issue such an attack declaration, the base is marked as BMM, and BMM miners had been utilizing the structure.

Thus, is your faction Freelancers or BMM Miners and what is your attitude towards the Mollys since you are working with/for some of our allies.

We only use Freelancer ID, we don't use any other ID.

Yes we had a contract with Hochschild,Patrol and Protection, so for the time being an attack on the base would meant that, even if not unfriendly to Mollys, we should attack them to protect the base in case of attack. However that contract is almost due.

That statement "Mollys had declared it in attacking the [FL-ER] base in Dublin." that isn't right, we currently dont have a base. This last statement "since you are working with/for some of our allies" I didnt understand!

Thanks for the post, hope I answered all your doubts.

I hope you're concrete about not using any other ID. I saw one of you guys with an IC ID'd Mastodon a while back. Yes, he had the tag.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

Your explanation of your contract with that base makes more sense that what was told to me in game. Oddly enough we've been attacking the base since the declaration and have not once seen an [FL-ER] tagged ship attempt to stop us, but hey the server isn't running at 180-200 players like it used to, so I'm not surprised.

I've sent a PM with my skype information if you'd like to review the screenshots of the conversation with your pilot and discuss other matters.

As for allies, friends & associates of the Mollys our relationship with IMG has been good since vanilla Frelancer, and we have good relations with the TAZ as well. If your group is going to be hostile towards the Mollys it may put a damper on combined operations in Dublin when we have gold ore convoys & such.

A little pewpew is fun, but when 2 friends are mining to fill transports it gets a bit awkward when the friend's escorts start shooting at the other friend's miners & transports so you can understand the concern.

Other than this awkward issue, the writeup looks good and I've heard good things about your group in the IMG and TAZ skype channels. Good luck!!

I think you should just chalk down every unlawful as "hostile" for the sake of simplicity. I had 6-7 encounters with you when I was on unlawful ships (LH, Outcast, Pirate, Rogue), and all of them ended in pews when numbers were to your advantage. It might have changed since, but in my experience FL-ER is very much a "red is dead" faction when odds are in your favor.

Last encounter that I remember with LH was when we had a contract with UTC and you attacked their vessels, so I doesnt mean that we have a problem with all the pirates but if you attack we will reply!

RE: [FL-ER] DRAFT for officialdom request. criticism is welcomed. - Mímir - 10-27-2014

No, it's been the other way around. I've only ever opened fire on FL-ER in self-defense. Even when LH~ first met you, we were interrogating you while you called for backup, and then you opened fire and we defended ourselves.

Nothing wrong in that (I like it!), but I think it's better to play with open cards and just clearly mark yourselves as lawful mercs hostile to unlawfuls, when that is what you do in-game when odds are stacked in your favor.
