So after a Dabs refund im going ahead with getting the GTX970, although--- - Geoffacake - 12-11-2014

Ever since my MSI's GPU went all cooky-lackoo after an official Nvidia driver update, i managed to gain a refund on the product from the Dabs retailer now i'm looking for their next Gen cards with Maxwell, its gonna be good, FL in 4K! (only a possibility)
Although, I've come into a slight problem, or dilemma, whatever way you want to put it
As known, Nvidia itself barely makes their own GPU's so most of us end up going for Non-reference cards.
So here i am, a path that goes in god-knows-how-many directions.
Now there is only a few regulations set:
  • I'm not willing to buy any other GPU so its restricted to the 970 series.
  • I am not willing to buy from Palit, Zotac or PNY.
  • It can only be purchased from this online retailer: Dabs
  • The range of purchase must be BELOW £280
  • Give me a recommendation of UK ice cream, its not restricted to the Magnum range, although, its my preferred range.

Now, may all hell break loose.

Edit: Forgot about the retailer link, here are all avalible GTX970 on my preferred retailer: http://www.dabs.com/category/components-and-storage,graphics-and-i-o,graphics-cards/11137-505120000

if you can get a dual-cooled or full cover water cooled one, even better

For Nvidia GPUs, the best brand is EVGA. MSI and ASUS are good alternatives as well.
