We've been seeing masses of Junkers, Liberty Navy, Colonials and Outcasts in Humboldt these 2-3 days, [HF] even engaged the LN while they were chasing MNS around. Yesterday we saw a huge group in Kansas, mainly Colonials/Junkers shooting pirates. Naturally, seeing Colonials in force out there was a surprise and even more surprising was them refusing to cooperate with us, which led to tension between us and forced us to make a move.
We gathered forces in Magellan and made a decision between raiding Coronado or going into Kansas, we picked the later. We shot the base and I have to admit, I wasn't sure if we should go on with it as it was in many gray areas and we didn't know if it was housing Junkers, Liberty Navy, Colonials or Outcasts because ALL of them had been in there in force the past few days, and ofcourse a Liberty Battlecruiser undocked from it. Kansas is in the heart of our territory, we certainly cannot allow unfriendly/hostile presence there, even more so an unknown base that didn't even contact us.
As for the 1.2 sanction, most of us do not even know Xenon and certainly do not hold a grudge against Congress, myself included. While I admit the execution was a bit rushed, it certainly was NOT to a level to sanction someone. The groupchat was a bit messy at some point (it usually gets that way when you have 10-15 people in it) and I can see why the potential sanction for "trolling" or "harassing" but I assure you, the [HF] members have not had such behavior in mind while doing the raid.
All in all, lesson learned. A few members slapped (me too), some had to leave the faction and we'll have to keep our group chat polite from now on.
I'm not any good at writing long posts so it might be choppy in some areas.
