It's as if you didn't fully understand what I wrote. I didn't say we control the freeport. I said we, for the most part, control the space near the area of it. The only reason a fight explicitely occured at Pacifica was an event. The other time the Gaian convoy was chased there after running the blockade. If you want to fight near bases, watch your fire better. We were at equal danger of being shot by Bristol as you were. We watched our fire, you weren't careful enough. Simple as that really.

POBs are temporary

sometimes you just have to kill the child you raised before it becomes a genocidal maniac, we all know what happens when diplomacy fails

They're core four and UN can only field three battleships max.

who said i was talking about the unioners

I wrote us in an ID line that forbids us from allying with LN, who are the only other viable candidates. Because I was dumb and thought that an InRp solution would always be the best way to go about things.

By that logic, if a UN vessel starts firing at a transport that is trying to dock at Bristol, you'd never turn the platforms on, correct?

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Information and Feedback - DarkTails - 08-22-2018

Auzari, it would be preferable if you wouldn't post in Harmony feedback unless you have feedback about our interactions. I highly doubt you were present during this issue. If you're referencing the LN sieging Bristol, they simply can't. Bering is not space where Lib law can actually be enforced against neutral PoBs as it's not listed under Liberty territories.

If LN/5th could've sieged it, believe me, they would have long ago.

Edit: IF you shoot at a transport docking on Bristol, next time that transport will have escorts and protection. The base is meant to be a mostly neutral trading hub, not a fortress. However given the risks, we have made it well defended.

Basically there's no ID on the server that can siege it down and destroy the bases. They're perfectly positioned to screw with people. Outcast ID, I believe, doesn't have any ZOI there, and even if it did, why would Outcasts care?

Ah well. I'm prepared to give it a few more punts.

I'm not interested in getting banned again for being the Discovery social justice warrior and blowing up another pob that ruins gameplay on all levels. Justified or not.

Lesson learned, Tanith. Don't endorse pobs completely to the point where no one but whoever owns the pobs can fight in the system. Especially one as dense, small, and important to pvp/gameplay as Bering.

I endorsed it whilst I benefited from it. I didn't realise that was my thought process until I was on the other end of it. It's funny how karma has a way of teaching you things.

Didn't reply because I already wrote that I'm not liking the rework.
I don't feel like investing time into it.

We can move the platforms into the installation for the time being.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Information and Feedback - Backo - 08-22-2018

My feedback is why isn't this feedback thread in the feedback subforum like every other official faction's feedback thread? If I wasn't linked this thread I would have never personally found it, really.

RE: Battlegroup Harmony - Information and Feedback - Antonio - 08-22-2018

We have 2 things:

1. Freeport, which is supposed to be an activity hub (meaning attracting activity from all players, like a Freeport usually does).
2. Two POBs, which serve as a safe zone for Separatist ships.

The latter's guns being all around the former means we have a safe zone and an activity hub that are contradicting each other. There is no activity hub in a safe zone, because a safe zone denies activity from certain factions removing its potential to be an activity hub. I proposed earlier to either move the bases 10k away from the Freeport or temporarily remove weapons platforms. The scenario where a Unioner undocking from a Pirate Freeport gets shot (and probably instakilled) by POBs is one example of them being harmful.

Can't Marshall be a safe zone and Freeport an activity hub? Best of both worlds.
