Broadcast Begins:
In a surprising announcement made today at the Council of the Dons offices & grand chambers, The well known & respected Cardamine cartel, the Blue Lotus Syndicate & Outcast national guard / militia, the Shadow Outcast Brigade, have put aside their past differences & combined their forces in efforts to assist in the defense of Malta & the spreading of the 'Orange Dream' through out Sirius.
After lengthy discussion the two respected Outcast factions have merged into one under the Shadow Outcast Brigade banner ( {SOB} ), all smuggling and freight ships will retain the [BLS] tag while all combat ships will fly the {SOB} tags upon them.
Colonel Picaroon "JollyRoger" Diablo, commander of the {SOB}, has also announced the former commanders of the Blue Lotus Syndicate will be given high command posts in the Brigade. The former cartel leader known only as 'Shadow' now carries a rank of Lt. Colonel & will be replacing the spot left vacant by former SOB third in command Alehandro "Grimtooth" Martine who recently retired & is now relaxing at his estate on Malta.
Also given a high command position was Vitale Demetri who was given the rank of Major and will work along side Major's Picarro "Unholy" Diablo & Socorro "Pinz" Yolanda in the running of SOB's combat ships.
Col. Diablo was quoted as saying, "This is a glorious day for the Brigade! We have made amends with our brethren & become one famillia to work along side of the beloved Military Factions of the 101st & Reapers of Sirius to fend off our enemies & continue the spread of the lifeblood of Malta through out all the systems." We welcome our new brothers & will fight along side them at all costs."
Col. Diablo also stated that even with the merger of {SOB} and [BLS], they are still looking for more pilots to assist in their goals. Prospective pilots can click this data link {SOB} / [BLS] Recruitment Center to apply. They are currently seeking fighter & freighter pilots.

Today, Highly respected member of the Council of Dons & Admiral in command of the 101st Ghost of Razgriz, Honorable Don Raul Sanchez, has called a press conference for a very important announcement. We now go live to our desk at the Council of Dons Chambers were Don Sanchez is about to make his statement....
"Due to overwhelming numbers of capital ships coming from Gamma, the Council of Dons came to a conclusion. Registration of the Outcast RM1 Destroyer and the Outcast Heavy Battleship is no longer regulated and enforced. Any captain with enough resources and crew available is permitted to buy a destroyer or battleship class vessel.
The New York directive was also removed from destroyer and battleship class vessels, but remains active on all Outcast Dreadnoughts.
The Outcast Dreadnought will still require unanimous majority of the Council of Dons for purchase and usage.
This is a major announcement, It would seem the continuing attacks from our estranged cousins & other enemies of the Outcast Nation have taken it's toll on our beloved defenders.
Reports also show that the other defending factions, The Reapers of Sirius & the Shadow Outcast Brigade have suffered numerous losses in pilots & ships.
This decree from Don Sanchez would open up the opportunity for smaller combat groups such as the Cali Combat Squad based in Tau 23 & the controversial Outcast cult known as the Ravens along with any independent Outcast will now be able to purchase at least 2 different types of the Outcast war class vessels.
It was noted & emphasized that the Outcast Military's pride and largest combat ship in the fleet, The respected & feared Outcast Dreadnought would still be unavailable to the general populous & only allowed with a unanimous approval of the Council.
Another important statement made by the Don was the council has decided to drop the New York / Liberty directive on all previous & new RM1 Destroyers & Outcast Battleships. Seemingly allowing them open access to attack at will. All though it was not mentioned, We are sure the Defending factions of the 101st, RoS, & SOB/BLS will still refrain from attacking New York with a capitol fleet with out permission and approval of the Council.
It also appears that the Council has placed more enemies on their Bounty list, Known as the Council of Dons "Hit List"
Don Vincenzo Fedele announced the additions of the following as enemies of the Maltese Nation & all Outcast and has offered generous rewards for their demise to all Outcast & their allies.
The following have been added to 'The Hit List':
The Brotherhood ( [TBH] ), The Omega Pirates Guild ( [OPG], The Benitez Familia -( Benitez ).
As well as any member of the Corsair Elders. Kusari Naval Forces, Kusari State Police, Samura, Independent Miners Guild, & the Colonial Remnant have also been added. With the proclomation from Don Sanchez that RM1 Destroyers & OC Battleships open for purchase with out restrictions, We for see many ships entering Gamma to collect on the Councils rewards & striking serious bows to our enemies. As of this date, Don Fedele has paid out an impressive 315 million credits on current bounties & claims there are funds a plenty for the additions to the list & hopes all Outcasts, Unlawful Mercenaries & Outcast allies will take advantage of the Councils generosity and collect on more of them.

In addition, All three of the major military factions have put up a recruitment request to replace pilots lost in the on going conflicts that plague the Outcasts.
