Lore question: Gallic Jump Gates and Trade Lanes - Demonic - 10-23-2016

Now, if this is actually answered somewhewre than I appologize for not finding it.

So, what's the story behind these? Ageira got it from alien information storage, but what about Gallia? Their diferent look suggests they come up with the tech independently, yet it seems so advanced for them to actually be able to do that. Anybody more knowledgable than me wiling to elighten me?

I've always been a fan of the idea the Gallic Junkers were responsible for getting the schematics or trade lane parts to reverse-engineer as to why they were able to build them. Gallians probably navigated with jump-holes earlier than Sirians.

Gallia found their own "Valhalla" (Daam K'Vosh database thing with technology) and developed/implemented it similarly.

It's why trade lanes / gates in Gallia look different, but function the same.

Would you have liked the previous, retconned version of events?

Well, if you are speaking about Gaul Junkers than no. Gallia finding their own "Vallhala" is logical, though boring variant. Anyways, thanks for info.
