A "Permaban'' defines a sanction type where the player who is being punished is intended to, along with his server assets, be removed from the community for an indefinite amount of time, as opposed to regular bans which have a set end time. Permanent bans are only appealed by submitting a player ban appeal and are voted on by the administration team. If the vote fails, the player may not submit another appeal for another six months as already stated in the server rules.

When a player is "Permabanned", all of their ingame assets are frozen. Shared characters are included in this freeze to avoid future situations where shared banks and expensive ships are being saved/bumped by a third party member. The only ships that may not be hit by this freeze are shared faction ships that have a shiplock and requests to unban them will be viewed on case-by-case basis.
