This is the day when Commune and Maltese have shown their true might. We wouldn't be able to push this trough without you, my dear friends. Your work shall not be forgotten. I propose that you gentlemen should fly under one, joint banner. With that, the Maltese Nation would be safe and it would prosper. Its enemies wouldn't be able to do any harm to it. Our two organisations would back up each other when ever it is needed. Some of us in Commune are Maltese, but most of us are not. Though, I together with those to whom your people have provided shelter, are grateful for what you have done. That is why I am coming to you with this proposition.
