Greetings space pilots,
My name's StDH (it's an acronym), and i started to play this mod around 2011 when the server was v4.86 and had 200-250? slots, in evenings i had to spam connect because it was so full. It was my friend Avanti from different game we played (DarkOrbit) who brought me to this game. I will always remember when he introduced me to this game, he was talking about Hessians, Liberty and such, and i didn't understood a shait, so back to the point, he showed me this game and didn't tell me the name of the Disco Mod because he wanted me to learn what this game was about, but of course, a young hasty soul wanted to play so next morning when i talked with him i already had the mod installed and didnt play more than a minute of singleplayer. Avanti was older, way more wise than me back then, so he started explaining me the game mechanics and politics, it did somehow soaked in, buuuut you know (no singleplayers = no knowledge whatsoever).
Of course Avanti gave me 2 million credits to buy myself a ship, and so i've bought Clydesdale (Bretonia) and started trading water from Planet Baden Baden (Stuttgart) to nearby Solarius Station (Omega-11), next day i had around 200 000 credits and promised Avanti to give that money back to him one day (;D).
Too scared to explore universe i kept trading the same thing, when everything was going well for several days, few pirates stopped me when i was on my way to Omega-11 and they told me to buy an ID, and i was like "???", NO SINGLEPLAAAAAAAYER..... they were so frustrated that they let me go.
Avanti told me about a player that was mining every day and was among, if not the richest player in-game, and he was doing this to buy a system from admins, i think it cost him at least 2mld credits?
He was telling me stories of players and systems like Tau.
But after a month (or more) i stopped playing for a reason i dont remember, and started playing my own v4.86 server - which i was playing untill last week, when i decided to try multiplayer again.
Then in 2013 i finally played the singleplayer, and again in 2017 (about two weeks ago).

It was pretty straightforward after connecting here: The Order, Hathor and Sekhmet, but it did surprise me a bit that the server has half the slots and way less players.

Welcome back.....Check out the Smuggling Event between Malta and Crete...It is a quick way to make some credits....just remember to RolePlay.

Among the reasons why i didn't come back sooner were few facts
- no Huntress and Shadow (The Phantoms)
- some maps were changed too much
- Many good players left
I guess i have missed a lot, but i hope it'll get better because i've seen many threads on forum talking about good ol' times

Do i sound like whining (hope not)? I hoped somebody would answer that post by writing down how much has Disco and players changed since v4.86.
I have around 120mil on my acc right now, i know it's not much but at least battleship scanner price went from 895mil down to 192mil
