Universal Shipping Official Convoys ™



Summary:

Universal Shipping Incorporated is widely renowned for employing the biggest and most entertaining convoys in Sirius.

Our Official Convoy is a unique and special event scheduled when the circumstances are favorable. Each time one USI Executive is responsible for designing the route, rallying the members into participating, and finally leading the convoy. Participation in this event is not mandatory but highly encouraged.

Official Convoys are divided into two categories, the Commissions and Operations. The Commissions are general-purpose runs which are mainly profit-oriented and can be repeated independently by our employees. On the other hand, Operations generally have higher difficulty and are executed in response to recent events or with a specific goal in mind.


Difficulty Levels:

★★★✩✩ - Challenging
★★★★✩ - Severe
★★★★★ - Apocalyptic

Reward Levels:

Why you should participate:
  • Convoys are an extremely infrequent sight nowadays. Joining one is a rare and unique experience.

  • The trade runs are specifically designed to yield high profits. That, combined with the abundance of available miners and the presence of experienced escorts makes your run very safe, entertaining and profitable.

  • Valuable experience on how to operate during a convoy, as well as how to keep yourself safe from pirates and also learning about profitable routes.

  • Participation in this event is mandatory if you seek future promotions and higher status within the faction.

  • Ability to visit faraway and exotic systems, which you would normally never have the chance during your standard operations.

As you well know, the trade lanes, docking rings and jump gates in Sirius are made by Ageira Technologies. Before being shipped, the parts are secured in their famous White Boxes. And for centuries Universal Shipping has been the primary shipper of these boxes.

Likewise, in the Southern Wreath commission we will assemble outside Pueblo Station and load the transports with Ageira White Boxes. Their destination is New Berlin, from there we will move Rheinbeer to Freistadt Station before heading to Omega-2 to mine Uncut Diamonds. Once we are loaded up we will return to Liberty and Planet Manhattan specifically to sell our very valuable cargo.

  • The mission difficulty is challenging, the toughest parts being the Independent Worlds between the two Houses and the wild and uncivilized Omegas.

  • The profitability of this run is estimated being lavish, mainly as a result of the short distances involved, thus significantly increasing the credits/second ratio.

The Gods favor those who are stronger. Every day we have to face unscrupulous competitors, every day our House is fighting to survive. If we are to succeed, then we are to be innovative, explore new avenues and stay strong. As a result I would like to announce our first operation Deos Fortioribus Adesse in which we will deal for the first time with Uranium Ore.

We will start in Texas and with heavy security we will enter Bering system and fill the transports with Military Salvage. If there are too many criminals, some transports may be redirected to get the Salvage from Sirius Base Construction, outside Planet Houston. Then we will travel to Alabama Shipyard in Omicron Rho to deliver it. From there we will launch empty and reach Sigma-21 where new Uranium Ore deposits have been uncovered. This material is very important for Bretonia's war effort and our mission is to deliver as much as possible to Planet New London. Then we will buy Heat Sinks to deliver back to our base, the Sirius Base Construction in Texas.

  • The mission difficulty is severe, the toughest parts being the mining operation in Bering, and the warzones of Sigma-21 and New London.

  • The profitability of this run is estimated being high, because of the valuable cargo involved.

Because of the temporary disruption of Omega-3, the only safe highway into Bretonia, the Board of Directors has decided to use this development to temporarily focus on supporting The Council, an entity which we also aim in establishing more solid connections and entering an otherwise inaccessible market. Venturing into Gallia is by all measures the most dangerous undertaking Universal Shipping can offer, even the uncivilized Omicrons are relatively more safe.

Death Tour de France

We will start in Detroit Munition in New York system where we will fill the transports with Light Arms. Our destination is Planet Toulouse in Roussillon system which is being invaded by the GRN. Detroit's famous firearms are meant to be distributed among the populace who are bracing for a tough siege against the royalist forces. After that we will move to Tau-44 and then enter Languedoc where captured miners operated by the La Résistance will wait for us to mine Molybdenum Ore. Once the transports are filled we will move to Zurich system and from there jump to Cologne. We have no maps or intelligence of this route and our Council escorts will act as our guides within Gallia. The final destination of the ore is Planet New Berlin and then we will purchase Rheinbier for Freistadt Base in Omega-7. After the beer is sold, our convoy will move to Omega-2 where they will meet with DHC miners who will mine Uncut Diamonds for our transports. Once this is done our convoy will complete its run by selling the diamonds to Planet Manhattan, New York system.

  • The mission difficulty is apocalyptic, as we will be sneaking in and out of Gallia with an entire convoy.

  • The profitability of this run is estimated being high, because of the valuable cargo involved.

Dear colleagues.

A public contract has been released by House Bretonia for the expansion of Aland Shipyard. It is currently the only sizeable shipyard in Bretonia's possession and thus it is vital to be upgraded and expanded as quickly as possible so that Liberty's closest ally will be able once again to manufacture new warships and replenish their embattled forces against our common enemy, Gallia. Since Omega-3 is rich in mineral resources, I made sure Universal transports will find significant quantities of BMM-mined Cobalt Ore to carry on the return trip.

Furthermore, we will be joined by two Doe Industries mechanics and manufacturing experts who are overseeing Aland's expansion project. Their safety is of utmost importance.

We will start outside Renzu Shipyards in Shikoku system where we will pick up Shipyard Components. Our destination is Aland Shipyard in Omega-3. However getting there is tricky considering we want to avoid covering a long distance and going through the Taus is extremely dangerous. Thus, we are working on a middle solution and all ships will be briefed during the take off about our new route. Once the cargo is unloaded, we will go to Planet Sprague and purchase Bretonian Cobalt. Then, using the same route we will return back to Renzu Shipyards and complete the Operation.

  • The mission difficulty is severe, since Gallic Royalists will seek to stop us and harm the DSE VIPs. We do not consider IMG to be a problem after we confirmed they are only talk and not action.

  • The profitability of this run is estimated being high, with Bretonians paying a lot to get this done as soon as possible.

Our enemies were overthrown and embarrassed and now we can finally enjoy the sweet fruits of peace. Universal has always been the pioneer, the tip of the spear of our Republic. A huge new market has now become available to us, and we will make sure Universal Shipping will be first in Liberty and Bretonia to exploit it and unlock it.

New Horizons

We will start in Pittsburgh Debris Field where a team of miners will fill our transports with Premium Scrap. Our destination is Roanne Production Facility in Lorraine. It is not expected to be a challenging travel, the only dangerous part would be the Independent Worlds between Liberty and Kusari where the Lane Hackers may lay a trap for us. Once the cargo is unloaded with the help of Gallic intermediaries, we will purchase Ultralloy which we will drop on Planet Tomioka, in Nagano system. Then a team of seasoned Samura miners will be expecting us. They will fill our transports with Platinum Ore from the nearby Takasaki Dust Field which is surrounding Planet Shirane. Once this is done, we will use the same route and return to Liberty and more specifically Toronto Station in Ontario system where we'll complete this Commission.

  • The mission difficulty is average, considering there are no active wars in the region and only few locations pose significant enough trouble.

  • The profitability of this run is estimated being lavish, as we are dealing with high-value commodities in an entirely new market.
