Kaiserreich Rheinland Military Service Act 827



Due to the last census of the military power and assets still under the Imperial control and with the current situation developing within the Kaiserreich borders, with Hessian movement taking Cologne and consolidating the system, also their increased attacks within Stuttgart, with Federal remnants entrenching themselves in Thuringia and Munich.

With all these situations explained in the Reichstag by the Speakers for Kaiserreich Rheinwehr and their future plans against our enemies, the Reichstag is passing the following Act, which will enable a set of voluntarily participation and as well as mandatory conscription of able-bodied citizens within our Armed Forces und Reichspolizei.

Every citizen who presents itself to the recruiting bureau will be able to choose which component of the Armed Forces they will serve with. Citizens who will receive the draft papers will not have this option, they will be assigned as needed and in regards to their skills.

Our Kaiser and we, the member of the Reichstag, are very proud by the response of our Empire in regards with these situations that threaten our still nascent nation and we want to publicly thank all of our Soldatens und Offiziers, which currently serve. However, to secure our borders and make sure that our dreams of a fair and equal Nation are not squashed or threatened by anyone, the Kaiserreich needs an additional 7 million personnel, ready to serve.

Taking into consideration the up-mentioned need, the Empire needs all of its citizens between the age of 19 to 45 to complete and send the form KRR-11-2/827 to the appropriate office, as soon as possible, proceeding afterwards to their local health practitioners for medical tests. People who are meeting the required skills and are declared medically fit, will receive an invitation for which branch and barracks they need to present themselves.


Exceptions

  • Civilians who hold a medical certificate of exemption, due to physical or psychological conditions.
  • Serving members in the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr Auxiliary Forces or Kaiserliche Reichpolizei.
  • Members of the Unioner movement which didn’t completed the acclimatization and reintegration in the Kaiserreich Rheinland. Note: They can be formed as Autonomous Brigades, answering to the Reichstag, Kaiserliche Rheinwehr Oberkommando and Unioner High Command.
  • Civilians serving in Military industries or food production.
  • Case-by-case exemptions will be granted to students currently studying fields deemed critical to the infrastructure of the Empire - such as but not limited to medicine, engineering and scientific fields.
  • Fair and impartial conscription will be overseen by the Kaiserliches Rekrutierungsbüro and any favouritism, nepotism and draft-dodging will be prosecuted.
