Mod not working with discovery multiplayer - Buka - 09-29-2020
Greetings, I tried to install this mod https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=74805 And I got this to work in discovery singleplayer but when i try multiplayer the game crashes after character select.
It would be nice if You could help me with this. (Invisible ships models on target screen aren't important for me)
it would also be great if you would make this integrated into freelancer, as dedicated addon or switchable option in configuration screen because some player could not like this. Ofcoure if this is possible.

Comrade, I would recommend installing different copy of Freelancer, that you can take here

be sure to install Freelancer Discovery mod in a different folder from where you have Freelancer Vanilla

@Red.Comrade actually i have three copys of freelancer one vanilla one for discovery and one for crossfire mod.
each mod was installed using clean copy of freelancer installed from CD. (i dont have troubles following instructions
)also i'm doing backups before doing anything with game files.

I don't have seperate mods, but I would just rsuggest following the instructiosn and starting up the game in windowed mode, whioch can be sellected from launcher settings.

How exacly this mod allows cheating?
it's client side mod, and it isn't modifying any ship/weapon price. thats just HUD
And from where You know that this mod isn't allowed? Is any list somewhere here?

A dll can change anything, so they are blanket banned. This is not uncommon among games with multiplayer, so I don't know why you are acting surprised lmao.

Ok, then. Thats understandable. I'm not acting, freelancer is my second (after minecraft) modded multiplayer game, and i simply dont know such things
