Capital Ship Code Weapons - NonSequitor - 03-06-2021

The consensus is that capital ship code weps are meant to be money sinks.

While agreeing with this general principle, I would suggest an adjustment to the item price scale.

Scidata is its own thing that I won't get into - just to keep things simple for the time being.


Most BS turrets cost 750 mil on the high end. The BC and cruiser turrets are 750 as well. Fighter codes are 100 (last time I checked)

I would suggest this pricing scale: BS turrets 750, BC turrets 600, cruiser turrets 500, and fighter/bomber codes 100.

This scale would make a bit more sense instead of giving the impression that cap players should be punished for the ships they want to pilot.

Or just troll everyone equally and charge fighter and bomber pilots 750 mill for their respective codes.

And yes, no one needs code weps, just like no one needs cap 8 armor. But everyone knows that owning them will give you an edge in PvP and PvE.
