Major Hilda Andrews, first recording for captain's log. I do not usually run any documentation on the events aside from formally required paperwork, however, Kuroda suggested I do, and... it might be a smart decision in light of recent events. Strange movements are happening between Mu and Minor. Thebes, by the order of Admiral Nicklas Forsberg, whom I suspect to be inept and unfit making decisions of such a scale, have ordered it to be the rearguard for the upcoming assault. I see simply no logic for this decision, when any other warship could play the role - Thebes had to be chosen and leave Mu, and most importantly, Akabat - exposed to any offense we may be unprepared for. And the aliens are well known for staging surprise attacks on a whim, an officer of Forsberg's rank should have learned as much unless they are wearing their shoulder straps through nepotism.

Hardly imagineable in The Order? Yes. Absolutely impossible? Not at all.

I have sincere doubts it is possible to sway Forsberg's opinion to a more sensible and logical approach with the level of decision making this... individual have demonstrated. Henceforth, we will play along with his orders... although, with a few arrangements of our own, with the individuals I believe to have weighted and allocated their priorities in a more favorable manner, particularly - Admiral Solandros of the Overwatch Black Fleet. I am making the call, but the result is yet to be seen, what we have to do is lay out our plans around fulfilling the objective and ensuring Thebes remains safe.

Worst case scenario - Horus will have to be sacrifical lamb, pushed under the butcher's knife by Fosberg's hand. Replacing it is a more realistic task than compensating the loss of Thebes.
