There needs to be a reason for the legs, and I can't think of one. Cut then off first of all, then make it looks Hessian-y.

I disagree with Yue, the Hessians are fighting RM and Corsairs, who both in and out of RP, have massive cap fleets. With their mining operations and connections to the Outcasts, they could slap together a battleship if they wanted to.

The Hessians.
Who live and exist in dense asteroid/lava/gas/radiation fields.
Building a massively large, ungainly and completely newly designed Battleship.

Why do those lines not work together?


Battleships are used for mainly defensive purposes in Freelancer it would seem. As highly immobile but yet moving weapons platforms that are set up in an area and then the area is secure. They tend not to be used by highly mobile, hit and run specialist pirate factions.


The model itself is a bit..insecty. Doesn't look like any FL design, which would not fit the Hessians, or any other traditional faction really. Best bets might be Zoners since they would have different groups, different ideas etc and the materials to build such things.
The legs are a bit..odd though and the model otherwise is far too plain. The main body is really undetailed and needs changing.

Other than those concerns, it's definitely got potential to become great.

Hessians should not have a large capital ship since about 90% of their ranks are suppose to be unskilled miners, workers and young idealists.

Furthermore, that thing simply does not look like something any Rheinlander would cook up.

First let me congratulate you on the ship modeling, it's a clean design.
However i see nothing Red Hessian about it, i wouldn't mind the Red Hessians having a BS though.
