For the sake of not wasting anyone's time, I will skip the unnecessary introductory section as I'm well aware that your organization is well acquainted with both myself and the Forty-Sixth Fleet. About three years ago - and during your organization reaching out to our Fleet for assistance regarding the acquisition of a wing of Defender-class fighters - I made a claim that Detroit Munitions would be my first candidate in regards to participating in the successful completion of a project, the details of which I'd share in the future.

Allow me to elaborate further on that subject. As you may be well aware by now, the "Akhetaten"-class' A-0 prototype is fully operational as of her commissioning date of October 6th, 833 A.S. The ship is effectively a test-bed for the Navy's new class of battlecruisers that are meant to go into mainline production - should the A-0 prove to be successful in the field.

It is my - and every other officer's aboard the A-0 - duty to see to it that Project Akhetaten is a success. For that, we need all the help we can receive. While our Fleet's intelligence division, alongside the A-0's own science teams, have been doing an effective work at keeping the battlecruiser not only fully operational but also up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, we simply lack the resources and available manpower to see some of our plans through.

For the past month, our teams have been assigned with the task of manufacturing a new type of turret that is meant to be a replacement to both the ship's standard electromagnetic pulse weaponry and our secondary battery. While the already existing Particle Pulse Accelerator Cannon, PPAC in short, fills the criteria - saving us from the effort of having to develop a turret from scratch - we have been unable to get any of our prototypes to work.

This is where Detroit Munitions comes into play. Can you provide us with working prototypes of the PPAC?

I indeed forgot to congratulate you regarding your installation. I am greatly pleased to know that the Government has seen reason behind your request and allowed for the deployment of such an installation by your organization. The Navy will, of course, be at your disposal at any point in time to assure the safety of your operations and the smooth running of your facility.

I'm glad to know that Detroit Munitions is willing to help us in our endeavor. Not only that, but you seem to be already acquainted with the subject, a detail that should play an important role in the finalizing of those PPACs.

In any case, your request is a valid one, Director. Due to the importance of the quick resolution of this matter, I've taken the liberty of temporarily relieving some of my senior officers of their duties aboard the A-0 to join you at Planet Manhattan - their knowledge on the vessel will likely prove useful, in addition I am hoping that they will learn a thing or two from your own people. Chief Engineer Commander Howard Stone, Hull Maintenance Technician Lieutenant Emanuel Stoza, Fire Controlman Lieutenant Damian Glass and Weapon Engineer Officer Lieutenant Commander Katherine Knight will be departing the A-0 within the next hour to arrive at Manhattan and meet up with your crews. Upon further evaluation of your request, Commander Stone is to carry with his PDA a detailed specifications file for the A-0 which should prove handy for the process. Access to this file by your personnel will be on a need-to-know basis and read-only, I am certain you can understand why.

As for the three prototypes we've managed to partly manufacture so far, I have already arranged for them to be packed and shipped to Manhattan with the shuttle that'll bring my crewmembers. They are being loaded to the ship as I am recording this transmission.

The Forty-Sixth Fleet, and by extension myself and my crew, appreciate your gesture of goodwill and I assure you it will not be forgotten or written off as pretentious kindness.
