Gallic Union regime begins to fracture amidst GNI secession

After the humiliating defeat of the Rheinland Emperor's convoy and loss of most of Rheinland's diplomats at the hands of Maquisards and unknown vessels in Zurich, the Gallic National Intelligence has proclaimed they are denouncing the leadership of the Gallic Union, are acting against the Gallic Navy, and hold no allegiance to the current regime or government.

The system-wide manifesto resonated throughout Tau-23 for everyone to hear, as the GNI have proclaimed they have had enough, they will only from this point on be serving their own interests, independent of the Gallic Union. Our geopolitical analyst team has developed a model that clearly shows the Gallic Union's grip over Gallia will be unsustainable with this fresh act of rebellion.

After being grateful for being saved from the Kusarian invasion by the combined Royalist and Confederate militaries, the people of Gallia's fear of Sirius is subsiding and they are starting to sober up to the reality that their opportunistic military leaders are simply not suited to lead the house in peaceful times.
