Just to clarify, when you say that the ini is not updated does that mean we should or shouldn't install it along with the SOUNDS folder?

It's realy awesome! Nice work, but can you somehow remove the annoying *bleep* when you press Space? for Free flight? The vanilla sound effect of free flight is better imho, that *bleep* all the time you press Space is just annoying, thanks great work

why do so many people complain about this so called bleep sound and why have i never heard it or even been bothered by it like so many others wth.
my space bar is thruster no beep. moved mouse flight to tab, it beeps 1 time per i dont even know how long, dont spam the mouse flight button and you wont hear a constant beeping sound.
if you dont like a sound, find it and delete it.
And yes aphil that means dont use the ini files because .87 may have edited those files so you dont want to overwrite them with 86 ones.

Well, according to first page it's like, very outdated. Since then we got some new guns added, etc. So I wonder if it's actually work (because I don't feel like ruining my installation in order to check out) and any plans on updating it if it's not.

Aren't new guns using the same sounds as any relation of theirs? Tachyon's, particles etc. So basically their sounds are covered already.
