Alright, figure everyone else is doing this and I could certainly use the cash, so here's mah thread.
I use GIMP, I make signatures, avatars, banners, or just general images (if you want a "comm" image to use for in-character posts, or if you want something for message dumps, I can do that too).
Some examples:
"Buttoned" signatures - these will, once complete, be split up into several different images which, when combined, form your full signature, but have hyperlink buttons which can link to various posts or other websites.

Animated .gifs - note that I do not make these from scratch, but I can edit animated gif's to suit your needs.

When making a request, please be as detailed as possible. If you want a specific character image included in whatever you're having me make, be sure to include that with your post - I will not go roaming the net trying to find your character likeness.
