Is there a list of current mining fields that work.
I've been using the guide on the wiki and the silver fields in Penn don't work.
I'm setting up as a DSE and need a silver/plat/copper field that works.

Sure, if you think you're fast enough to outrun Mollys in Dublin, then get the gold to... wherever gold goes.

Incidentally, T23 is the mining spot for Beryllium (BMM) and Niobium (IMG). Could also do helium in Penny if you're bored and can stand new player chatter... Not too bad for an in-system mining setup there. There's copper in T39 too. Hydrocarbons just outside the T29-Kyushu gate are also possible (sell at Tsushima close by) but it's slow.
Gold in Dublin is possible but you're just painting a bullseye on you when going alone there. Mollies, Corsairs, Outcasts... plenty of poirates.

I am in IMG and we have some good tricks and spots (some classified too)
May I suggest the Silver field in Omega 7? The system is small to escape and silver drops are good. and the sell price is above average.
If you need a hand to mine in-game you can contact any official IMG members they will give you a good tutorial and work with you (if you are friendly of course).

I went to Dublin and tried both the BMM field and the Independent field and neither yeilded any gold.
Seems the only field that's worked for me so far in game is the Helium field in Penn and an Iridium field in Kansas I helped mine in.

Ensure you have the "miner ID" and are using a "mining ship" in combination with a "mining turret". If you are going for a specific miner ID like BMM or IMG, ensure your IFF also reflects that faction.
