Ok so this has been happening for a while now, i play discovery freelancer RP all the time and when i got started everything went well an there were no problems. Soon thereafter i started to get BSOD's whenever i got to the second part of a jump hole or gate (the part where the screen goes white and then comes back to the game) so after much fussing with program files and other aspects of freelancer i decided to reinstall. After i reinstalled freelancer it was once again back to "normal". Only a week later it has started to BSOD again at the exact same spot. it seems as i play the game more the more BSOD's i get. Does anyone have any help or suggestions for me?

Two options;
1. Go to Options, Audio, and turn off 3D down.
2. Update your Video card drivers

ok i will try the 3d audio thing, but about my video drivers i have the newest available ones for my card but could the problem lay in my card? i have an 8800 GTS 320 MB and my friend and i were talking since the GTS uses stream processors the game may not know how to use my v card correctly because it was made before the use of stream processors in v cards. The game works fine on my two other computers which have a 7600GT and a 6200 Turbo cache.

It doesn't happen to all computers and video cards, just the few here and there. Anyway, turn off 3D sound and you'll be fine.

3D = grey enabled for me

1) don't gravedig
2) you have to do it from the menu option, if you try to do it once you've gotten ingame it won't let you change it.
