RE: World of Tanks - SparkyRailgun - 09-28-2012 (09-28-2012, 06:31 AM)ryoken Wrote: Yeah i found a few nice spots for arty in places only 1 way up. Makes those fast azz scouts useless. They run up and cannot dodge the big boom waiting for them at top. The ELC, I knew there was a tank missing in my Garage. I'd skipped the AMX40 on free EXP but never ended up buying the ELC. RE: World of Tanks - Aurigae - 09-28-2012 The Type 59 is a 40lb box of rape after the patch. Now the front armor is even more effective. Wish I was more accurate and non-laggy. http://i50.tinypic.com/29yhzc2.jpg Soru, RU server. RE: World of Tanks - ArmsAndLegs Guy - 09-28-2012 To celebrate the 8.0 patch I bought myself a T26E4 Super Pershing. A lot of people complain about it, especially after the 8.0 update, claiming its been ruined. I like it though, it grinds a load of credits, pretty fast, if you play it right. The T26E4 "SuperPershing" takes some getting used to. But when you realise you need to play it as a heavy brawling tank, instead of a flanking fastmoving medium tank, you get some good results, as evident in this battle. The 4'th ever battle in the SuperPershing for me, so the crew isn't fully trained yet, but still managed a respectable 5 kill streak, and dispite several direct hits, a zero credits repairbill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHsV6SODu1U As usual, available in 1080p HD for the full gory details Victory! Battle: Ensk 24. september 2012 05:55:44 Vehicle: T26E4 SuperPershing Experience received: 2.510 (x2 for the first victory each day) Credits received: 52.825 Battle Achievements: Reaper, Mastery Badge: "2nd Class" After 35 battles, and thus having the crew almost fully trained, and getting to grips with the playstyle of the Super Pershing, it is starting to show its Premium status benefits as a credits grinder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPrWGyGKzAk Victory! Battle: Fisherman's Bay 25. september 2012 05:29:03 Vehicle: T26E4 SuperPershing Experience received: 3.416 (x2 for the first victory each day) Credits received: 95.061 Battle Achievements: Mastery Badge: "1st Class" Finally 8.0 went live. The Super Pershing still holds up as a good credits grinder with the release of the 8.0 update. The american tanks good gun depression makes them well suited to the hilly maps, such as El Halluf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIjSJCQgx7k With the release of the 8.0 update on the NA server, the new graphics engine has some issues with Fraps - Video conversion of replays are down to slideshow frames per seconds. Changing to Bandicam ups the frames per seconds but with a little worse graphics quality as a result. Another issue, is the after-battle report, which now is shown in the garage. It was supposed to be shown with replays as well, but due to a technical matter, that didn't make it into 8.0. But according to my sources at Minsk HQ, it will make it into the next patch. So the only way to get the after-battle report into a video now, is to remember to capture it after the battle, and then append it to the video of the replay, as I did in this video. Victory! Battle: El Halluf 26. september 2012 23:11:16 Vehicle: T26E4 Super Pershing Experience received: 1.845 Credits received: 103.044 Battle Achievements: Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker" RE: World of Tanks - Jayce - 09-28-2012 Victory! Battle: Mines Friday, September 28, 2012 1:23:57 PM Vehicle: Renault UE 57 Experience received: 1,434 (x2 for the first victory each day) Credits received: 8,790 Battle Achievements: Top Gun, Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker" God I love my Renault. (inlove) The replay: http://mwreplays.com/replay/N9NGBNJ21KX6/ RE: World of Tanks - ryoken - 09-28-2012 I find most of the players complaining the SP is not as good anymore are the lads who had it from day one. You know before we all figured out the weak spots to aim for. It dies faster now because we all have figured those weak spots out.I for one know of 4 spots infront i can pen with any tier 7 and up.I am betting there are more i have not found yet, or A&L as an SP owner can tell yell about. As for the 90MM? well like all US meds that gun is a little weak, but fast firing, and accurate so just pick your spots and hammer away. I myself cannot wait till the idiots stop "testing" the new physics/water, and generally just scouting around in public matches. It is getting annoying to lose because your top tanks go swimming 2 minutes in and die. Had 3 M103 players decide to race across a pond, and all die because they could not climb bank on other side. All 3 tier 9's dead, and us remaining 8's had to struggle to win the game after that. Although my KV5 did make 95K that game, it ended up being alot harder then it should have been. Also fools trying to push you into oncoming fire as of late to use you for armour. Had that 3 times now. All 3 times was a T34 1 was saying he was going to "hull down" with my corpse RE: World of Tanks - ryoken - 09-29-2012 The reason a T95 needs support. I got very lucky here. http://www.mediafire.com/?rtn1hu7l0tph31p http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_040-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_041-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_042-1.jpg Sad when LOWE gets top score in a Tier 10 game. http://www.mediafire.com/?ohoaoq4nu1cjdxs http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_043-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_044-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_045-1.jpg RE: World of Tanks - Hades - 09-29-2012 My issue with the SP comes from, more or less, its gun and speed combination. Its gun, while not necessarily mediocre, has poor soft stats and accuracy, which for a gun on what is effectively one of the slowest tier 8 tanks and has 170mm pen, is no good. The pen is easily excusable, so long as the other stats compensate. And of course, mobility. You arrive somewhat late to the battle and, if needed, cannot move to another flank on the map or such like the heavies or mediums can. I also know where to shoot them in my tier 6-8 tanks from the front, so they pose no challenge in dispatching with. RE: World of Tanks - SparkyRailgun - 09-30-2012 I played an awesome game on my Slugger and treated myself to a roof. It's like a new age of tanking! RE: World of Tanks - Johnny Rico - 09-30-2012 can any one help me world of tanks wont install updates any help would be great RE: World of Tanks - ryoken - 09-30-2012 Watch this ELC game. You will lol. I am sure a few may have seen this done on forum. http://www.mediafire.com/?wzglblwnhdg5uds http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_046-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_047-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x238/ryoken12/shot_048.jpg |
