This is what happens during daily double time, or what i call terribad time. Game before i had guys like that on my team.
I use XVM so i know who to try and kill first when spotted, and as soon as terribad time starts? You suddenly start seeing alot of red players, and alot more bots.

Type 59 is not as good as old, but still fun as hell.

@ A&LGuy - I tried that Premium ammo loadout in a lend lease Valentine. On a premium account (I buy it when discounted). It paid off nicely.
The gun is off an MS-1 so rounds are very cheap but I suppose it's the combination of premium tank and premium account in that particular case.

And to the population in general, the T28 Proto. Is it worth getting, bearing in mind the pain I am having in the Hellcat and probable similarities in the T25/2?

RE: World of Tanks - Junes - 01-25-2013

I can't possibly understand what pain one could have driving the Hellcat. It's one of the greatest tanks I tried in the game. T25/2 is somewhat similar to Hellcat, although lower mobility/speed and below average firepower/penetration for its tier. Yet I'm doing quite good with it. I don't have the T28 Proto unlocked yet but it sure is different from its predecessors and is certainly worth grinding for.

T25/2 i liked, it bounced some, and could get in and out of fights fine. The Hellcat i found to weak. 0 armour, not agile enough, turret to slow, and at speed you need half the map to turn. I face Hellcats in almost anything i just rush them, and poof they die. But maybe that is just me. If you camp and trade shots against a TD your a moron anyway, and i see many doing just that.

RE: World of Tanks - Dashiell - 01-26-2013

The Hellcat is quite epic. people tend to use it as a Stug. then it fails. use its mobility and shoot n scoot and its epic.

T25/2 is a typical filler TD. Its just a slower, bulkier Hellcat. kinda emotionless. it performs quite well though. -If- you make sure to stay hidden and behind the lines.

Proto is an on/off machine. 1 day it rapes stuff to bits. the next you get istakilled by arty over and over. Ive had one for a while and kind aliked it. but its lack of speed (18 km/ph max) is annoying. if you pick a direction in which to head at the start of the fight, and you guessed wrong, you`ll miss all the action.

T30 is pure hell. the gun is quite hilarious. but the rest of the packagae is torture on tracks.

I stopped posting results lately but I'll just CP this here, from earlier today.

Victory! Map: Arctic Region sabato 26 gennaio 2013 15:25:32
Vehicle:: M18 Hellcat
Exp: 4.971 (x3) + Credits: 32.122
Achievements: : Top Gun, Sniper

That's a non premium account. I still find the Hellcat to be made of pure fun. I have the Proto unlocked, but I'm reluctant to buy it. I have this feeling it just won't suit me.

RE: World of Tanks - Valinor - 01-27-2013

Ye, you don't have the patience for that speed i am afraid.

RE: World of Tanks - Tutashkhia - 01-27-2013

cannot I play that from the web-site or I have to download and istall it in the computer?

RE: World of Tanks - Valinor - 01-27-2013

It's not a web game. So no, you get on the server depending on where you are, download the client, register, and play using the client.
