Well, true, arty failed...a lot. But, imo, you tackled that IS4 the wrong way too. Instead of hugging him (more like he hugged you, but you didn't do anything to prevent it), you should've reversed and shot his driver's hatch. The turret is next to impenetrable, shooting it is never a good idea.
That aside, why do you use the long 88? You don't have the 10.5 researched, or matter of preference?

I tried hitting the hatch, he kept moving/rotating turret. I like the Long 88 for the .26 accuracy. Makes for a nice acurate sniper. Plus it has better pen/refire.
I was hoping to pin him in place so arty would shoot him. If i got hit to by arty oh well as long as he also died. But the arty just sucked.

OK my IS3/T32/Ferd/T28 are all elite. Got cash for 1 tank, so which 1 to upgrade to? IS4/T34/Jagtiger/T95.

That T34-85 should have killed you easy. But he did famous noob mistake of turning turret, but not tank. If he did both he would have been able to hit you. I did love seeing the LOWE try to hit you. That was funny.

Yup, that T34-85 should have kept moving, the JagdPanther did help out but I did most of the grunt work on that tank.
That Lowe was pathetic if he had a shot he could have used it on the IS-4 since he was nearly dead, can't believe he even attempted to hit me.

The M41 is actually a great arty. Quite fun to play. As for the ARL, I honestly don't see what your problem with it is. Might as well be the best tier 6 heavy. Reasonably fast and reasonably armored (frontal armor is actually ridiculously bouncy, sides and rear are meh, however). Then the guns. Great damage, good rate of fire, German-like accuracy and 240 freacking penetration. On a tier 6. There are tier 9 tanks that have less penetration :/
Anyway, I haven't played much lately, so not much too share. Just go two GW Tiger battles, but nothing spectacular. Might enjoy them if you like arty. I do, sometimes, miss good rate of fire and wide arcs, but the sheer damage and splash on this is awesome. Here they go: a victory and a defeat.

You forget it comes with useless gun from BDR. Bad pen/horrible accuracy. Been grinding like crazy, but it faces 9's all the time that have no problem with pen. 2 shots dead. Turret loses armour to get better guns. Slow as hell,and turns like a KV. Only plus is the tracks tend to take hits, and cause 0 damage. Maybe after i upgrade the guns it will get better. but 40 games so far in it, and average exp is 400. All i got so far was tracks,and turret. It needs a fast loader mag like other french tanks.

All stock tanks are painful to drive. I think you've experienced stock KV. Also Try stock Leopard, which, and I'm not even kidding, is slower than a KV. That despite, supposedly, being a scout, and getting matched with tier 9s all the time, where it can't dodge, damage and it gets one shotted by everything. Now that's pain. Trust me, fully upgraded ARL is borderline OP.
