Roberto Cofresi's Biography - Roberto Cofresi - 02-18-2012

Childhood:

The Cofresi family in Liberty has been very prosperous the past 300 years. Making sound business deals and remaining loyal to the Junker'€™s cause. It is well known that the Cofresi family have been operating out of Vieques, Puerto Rico for a long time; and their roots runs strong and deep. It is rumored that the Cofresi family engage in questionable business practices and holds many secrets. Some of which are better to remain secret; But those are just rumors.

Roberto, the youngest of five, grew up much like his siblings in that he was educated in family matters and business from an early age. As far as Roberto can remember, he has been traveling on business with one of his older siblings or with his father, Vicente. Because Vicente was busy tending to family business, Roberto spent most of his time with one or another sibling. However, Roberto looked forward to spent time with Vicente. He loved his father. During his travels, Vicente lectured him on scholastic subjects as well as family history and traditions; Heavy on family matters. All the lessons were taught in Spanish since Vicente only spoke Spanish with his family. Vicente was hard on Roberto but allowed him the freedom to be himself. Roberto and Vicente were very similar in character and very close. When not traveling on business or any other matters, Roberto was at home in Carolina with his mother, Isabel.

On his 13th birthday, Roberto graduated from '€œhome'€ school. He would no longer travel with his siblings. He was given a CSF and assigned to capture 500 Xenos. To Vicente, this was a lesson in character. Roberto was to deliver the Xenos to Ames Research Station in a month time. Of course Roberto'€™s CSF was fully equipped with CODENAME weapons and top grade equipment. Roberto was given a considerable advantage. The kind of advantage only credits can buy. Roberto called his ship '€œEl.Coqui'€ to show his appreciation to Vicente. Roberto loved to hear Vicente tells stories about the Cofresi'€™s of old Sol. El Coqui, according to Vicente, was a small frog that lived in an Island, also called Puerto Rico, in the Sol system. In barely a week, Roberto had completed his assignment and began to freelance around Liberty while waiting on Vicente's return.

Free to roam Liberty, gave Roberto a unique opportunity to learn some tricks from those recently released from LPI Sugarland and LPI Huntsville. He also experienced the poor opinion some government agencies have of the Junkers as people.
