Well it seems like the Freelancer is lagging...probably FPS issues.
Well it ain't my PC but i still post my specs how i run it.
Intel i7 Quad-Core 2.2Ghz
8GB of RAM
Nvidia 1GB graphic card
Intel HD Integrated Graphic card
Windows 7 Home Premium x64'
Running games by default with Nvidia Graphic card, Psyhx processor is set to Auto-Select

Yeah. I got pretty much the same problem. It's like some frames are just missing or breaking off. Like in a move where you cut out the frames and sticked the different ends together again.

I'm having the same problem, either when ships explode or when I'm just sitting there...
Now, I'm no developer or anything, but I think maybe it's related to the new details.
This never happened to me before the new update, it's crazy now, the game is almost unplayable.

Had the same problem. Try this:

Some folk tell me the executable now fails to close when switching accounts in FLAM and DiscoLaunchpad. Check if you have multiple "Freelancer.exe" processes running when this happens.

Nope i'm aware of that...
Now having serious issues FPS goes down to 0 and resumes and just now game crashed during jump to another system
