The honorable Vice Admiral Freelamen,
A recent communication from Colonel Sven Nehaus of the Battleship Karlsrue has brought it to our attention that the Rhineland Military has instituted a lockdown of Liberty owned companies operating within Rhineland space. As a result Synth Foods Inc. convoys within Rhineland have been grounded.
As you know Synth Foods Inc. originated within Liberty and we are still considered by many to be a Liberty Corporation. However I would like to point out that we do operate separate corporate offices within Rhineland and Bretonia as well as in Liberty and we do consider ourselves to be a Sirius wide corporation.
Our Rhineland based Synth Foods Inc. office is located on Planet Stuttgart where we have farming licenses from the Rhineland government. We are currently supplying a large percentage of the foods consumed daily within Rhineland from our farms and facilities on Planet Stuttgart.
I humbly submit to you that a grounding of Synth Foods convoys within Rhineland space would not only be detrimental to our business interests here but that it would also deprive the Rhineland people of many of their most basic necessities.
Even now Synth Foods Convoys are scheduled to deliver food rations into Hamburg, New Berlin, and Frankfurt and they have all been delayed by this lockdown.
It is my hope that the leadership of the Rhineland Military will see the wisdom of allowing Synth Foods Inc. convoys to resume our operations within Rhineland space during this delicate time.
