have you an idea - NoMe - 01-02-2013

hello all

Is it possible to put a bounty and execute itself with a freelancer IFF/ID ship?

Is it against the rules of the freelancer?

or am I forced to use a particular ID?

thanks for answer

The old mercenary ID was merged with the freelancer ID a while back, so yes you can hunt for bounties with it.

As for posting bounties, anyone can put a bounty on a specific person, but only official factions can post a blanket bounty.

Yes!

before thx for answer

just the freelancer ID say:

May not engage in piracy outside of a posted bounty contract.
May treat trade vessels as combat targets in pursuit of a bounty contract.

and personnaly i want break some trade lane (of a company) without engaging an ID. I seen SRP possibility but too hard to do!

if with my freelancer, i can engage not to kill just to annoy this company, it's my real question!
I hope to have been clear enough

thanks again

If it is a company, you can't bounty them all. And I don't think collecting your own bounty just for a reason to attack is very sporting. Actually, that might even count as pvp abuse anyway.

I think the Merc ID was just swicthed to FL ID. I have a Merc ID, but says FL, but has the Manta on it.

And I think that would be pvp abuse.

Yes, you can post a bounty and collect on it yourself as long as it is open for others to do so also.
