Aeyrn smirked softly as she turned herself around fully in the stool, holding the glass firmly in one hand and leaning back against the bar top. Bringing the glass to her mouth, she took a sip of the strong liquor and crossed her legs. The bickering back and forth between the two Agents and Frost had clearly amused her, and it was this moment that she clicked her tongue in her mouth. A sly smirk crossing her lips as she looked over at Frost.
"Lefty is a small girl, eh?" She spoke with a rather bemused tone, sliding carefully off of the stool, "Didn't take you for that sort of man. Shame... looks can be so deceiving." She finished, winking at the man as she stood straight, glass in hand, she casually began tipping the liquor over Frost's head, emptying the rest of liquid.
"Do yourself a favor, and stay away from me. Alright, handsome?" Aeyrn smirked at the man as she sat the glass down on the counter, beginning to make her way towards an unoccupied table.
Looking at Frost, Elaine slightly tilted her head, and it was obvious how amusing the situation was for her. Taking another sip of ale she decided to come a bit closer to the now only two spooks and Frost.
"Dude, isn't it a bit pathetic to drag the poor Sam into this? Also, backstabbing those who just want to help the poor little Frosty isn't very nice. But maybe we just got a little jealous flyboy here who's running out of arguments! I mean,"
Elaine could not help but laugh heartily as soon as the woman next to Frost also decided to jump in.
"the women-business doesn't seem to go very good, eh? So I guess it's good if you join your friends over there. New hunting grounds ahead!"
Squished bigly ~Champ- Thanks, you're a champ. "What's the word for when it feels inside your heart that everything in the world is all right?"
Kyle was thinking of his Nyx's new blood crimson paint scheme it was getting as he turned around the corner to intersecting hallways on Sabah, bright lights were coming from in front of him, the entrance of the bar.
Apparently Ambrosia had only opened just before he had enlisted, and it hadn't even been 24 hours since he got into several engagements, he wanted to relax. He entered the bar, eyeing the people around, there were several higher ranking officers, he even saw a squadron leader and as well as a CIS agent, looks like these new agents weren't really all about secrecy.
Kyle moved forward to the bar and checked the menu, he looked up at the bartender.
"A 44th Apocolypse please."
The drink was served instantly and Kyle took it whilst turning around, putting his credit card up to one of the readers, paying the seventy credits. He saw an empty seat on the couches in the corner and made for it, sitting down and taking a sip of his drink, he looked down at the crimson red liquid, his thoughts swirling around a Zephyr class vessel, he spoke silently to himself.
"Might as well honor them with my first drink...to those we left behind.."
Nighthawk, watching Aeyrn grinned as she began to speak, and broke out into a loud laugh as she spilled her liquor over Frosts head and gave him a stern warning.
"It's okay Frost, don't be too dissapointed, I'll even order you a subscription of Sirius Illustrated if that makes you feel better."
He grinned as the song stopped playing, he began looking around on the datapad again, putting on another song. He chugged down his ale and ordered another, looking around the Room. Elaine had moved closer to them , would she actually be confident enough to sit with spooks? That would be a first. He smirked to himself as he continued to scan the room, looking over to where Aeyrn made her way.
In the meantime - Sophius and Anna decided to go for a Firespit Martini for each one. Moments later, after they had the glasses in their hands they left the table and began moving around the bar... enjoying the music and each other.
Well - miss Maxwell. Fancy meeting you here. Anna said to Elaine, as she also pulled Sophius' hand... A small pause between the moving runs? She asked smiling, while Sophius emulated her stance.
Sierra shook his head, and turned to look outside at Planet Yuma, a place that was almost poetic in its meaning. The blue jewel shone an azure light through the windows, almost beckoning the Colonials to come and settle, despite not wanting them to settle.Eh, the Lumberjacks will take care of that soon enough.he thought to himself.
He turned around back to watch Frost's reaction to the pouring of alcohol all over him, with mild amusement across his own face.
Still rather loudly chuckling, Elaine did not really notice the Johnsons couple coming closer until Anna actually decided to mention Elaine's surname. Even if the woman's voice was slightly hard to understand, due to the intense sounds of music coming out of the jukebox, she noticed it, turning her head towards Anna and Sophius.
"Oh, look who's here! Evenin'....Peeeeeerspective...right? Sorry for only remembering your callsign, but as long as you know who you are and I know who I am it's all fine I guess!"
Taking a sip of ale - sadly Elaine had to notice the glass being almost empty - she looked at Sophius, who seemingly prefered to remain silent for now.
"Well, you know, we're not only speaking about a bar her, but about a bar full of Colonials, and almost more important full of drinks that are probably a bit cheaper than usual due to the whole opening thing and such. I just couldn't see that chance passing by - hence why I'm here now, enjoying the lovely atmosphere
With a big grin she looked at Frost once more. Poor guy, she almost admitted. But he'd probably just forget about that day and continue. Living the true Colonial way of life.
"And what about you two? I'm sure you're impressed by what Lou helped to establish here. Even if not, at least you're having some good drinks, that's for sure!"
Squished bigly ~Champ- Thanks, you're a champ. "What's the word for when it feels inside your heart that everything in the world is all right?"
Anna thought for a moment, while holding her smile - then she responded and patted Elaine on the shoulder. Anna, dear, you can call me Anna.
The next moment both Sophius and his wife began chuckling and said. Of course we're impressed.
Then they toasted and sipped some more of that tasty Martini, after which Sophius continued. Then again - i don't happen to see many movers so often. Sadly being in the Firebirds and thus keeping those sniffers away from the miners on a daily basis doesn't help either. I was wondering though, how are things going? I also heard you've been appointed a new Mestro. He ended his phrase while hinting with his look at Lou.
Hugo blinked. The picture became clearer and clearer, with various objects taking shape in front of him. He was holding a cup, and judging by the nice scent, that was his favourite drink. "Ale from home" He realised he was sitting, which confused his senses for a second, forcing him to look around. "A bar." Hugo saw a few familiar faces, or at least he thought they were familiar. Nothing made sense. What time was it? How did he end up here? Where was "here" ? He looked around, his glance stopping at one of the glass panels, revealing the view of Yuma. He calmed down realising he was on Sabah. His next action was, of course, checking his patrol schedule. "All done. But why don't I remember?" He stood up, heading for the ship hangar, completely rapt in thoughts. "I must see the recordings. If the doctors learn about this I'll never leave the hospital." The pleasant music from the bar faded as he got further and further away.
"Oh, and the name is Fr-"he started, before his hair and face were covered in ale. Spluttering and wiping his eyes,"I suppose 'short woman' would have been a better way to put it, and I see she's not the only one with a patience like that." Rather than make it worse, recover dude, come on, he decided to try and maintain any dignity he still had. "But I can take a 'no' when I hear one, you'll have peace from me."
Wringing out his hair, he stood up, downed his mead and turned to the bar."Barman, the lady appears to have spilled her drink. I am sure she'd appreciate another."As he walked out the bar, Frost turned around and loudly stated to the room"Oh, and to my little Angels: feel free to let jokes about tonight affect your patrol and 'shore-side' duties! I'll have fun with anyone turning up hungover for briefing tomorrow."With that, he retired to his quarters for the night. Darned spooks...
A couple of minutes after Frost left, in came a cheery-looking young woman that would be recognised by many as Susan Anders, the Commander's niece. Ordering a Cider, she noticed a man of almost the same age as her on the other side of the bar. "Westie... Is that you?!"
