We'll give those poor computer nerds something to think about,
attacking cities and civilians is sooo low,
dare to fight us instead of sitting by tradelanes
waiting for transports?
()
Anyway, Tannik and Lysander, do you have Large Trains?
I can lend you some money to get MORE money:)
How does that sound?
Let's fight some Hull(on)Fire,
grab some Lvl 9 guns at Missouri
and see you in space.
Good news from Willard, they've developed a new kind of weapon(s),
mass production is underway.

After going off-duty last night, I made a quick run in a Startracker to Omega-15 to pick up a new freighter for myself. That was a bit harrowing... anyway, the Aedos is back in commission. She may not have a cargo hold as large as a train, but she's much more nimble and capable of holding her own in a fight. Small freighters are more my style anyway.
I look forward to being outfitted with the new weapons. In the meantime, I will continue my assigned patrols and engage authorized targets.

Commander,
Hellfire Legion ships attacked Willard Research station today. Nussebull was able to fight off the first wave. I scrambled my fighter to assist, but we were unable to repel their second wave, consisting of two destroyers and a heavy fighter. We fought a retreating action to Virginia, where we were joined by Iron Eagle and later Joe Davis. The two destroyers followed us into the system, but were eventually repelled back into California. Fighters pursued them and were eventually able to destroy one of the HF ships. In the meantime, I was shot down and forced to eject. I don't know how things have gone since then.
Sir, we need more firepower. Lasers and Magma Cannons just don't cut it against ships that big! The pilots I was with flew admirably, but right now, we're simply outgunned.
Excuse me while I explain to the deck officer why I need a new fighter.
Men, I'm proud that I made the right choice in choosing ya'll to be part of the SA. Every single one of ya.
You have a fine leader in charge, Nussebull, and I have no qualms that he will lead you to victory. But I, Harrison Gurney, will not be joining you for your moments of glory and prestige.
I will return as soon as I can, if I can. I will continue to check the Comm Center and continue to give advice to Nussebull, and ya'll so I'd appreciated if you could post the battles and conflicts here. My preliminary strategy seems to have worked well, and Nussebull's tactical knowledge must be commended.
Iron_Eagle, I followed my gut when I passed you in that test, and I'm sure as hell happy that I did. Congrajulations. Nussebull, MAKE SURE YOU GIVE Eagle 2Mil for a Name change to [SA=ACE=]-IRON_EAGLE. Do not make him create a new char. Thanks!
Also, what happened to Lysander?
In addition, I'll be workin' on some Patches(OOC: Signatures in photoshop, like the one Nusse and I have, but better.) for ya'll Aces. Now, in the SA, our fighter Aces aren't just called Aces. They are Sons of Liberty, in the literal and abstract way. You, are the embodiment of all that we hold true in our hearts, from Justice to a Free-Market Economy.
Take care, and remember to not forget me. I will be back. I will also continue working with Nusse about the long term strategy, continue forging alliances, and work on a model for our LIRS (Liberty Internal Revenue Services) and its personal fighter wing, the ARC(Alliance Revenue Cutters) responsible for enforcing tax laws through Liberty.
Meanwhile, I'll be apologizing the the HF High Command about the "sad state" of my troops being unable to extort and charge the HF ships with taxes before they were destroyed...shame on you:nono:....(lol).
UPDATE
I love my tauntingly annoying post in the HF Dump...Reminds me of old days when I bring back the super annoying/obnoxious gato...
One last thing. Go get'em tigers.

I was present at that slightly one sided fight, and i must say you guys took quite a beating, relativly speaking to the HF. If you guys need help against the HF, feel free to hire me, as my gunboat is sitting in Texas. If you require a different craft, i will reposition some firepower to Texas, so you can call on them, in exchange for a few credits, when neccessary.
We would like to thank Guildmaster Stuart Payne, for his offer on his services. We will be needing them, and I will be in touch with him for more details.
I contacted Admiral Nussebull on the details for the next strategy, and the fact that we need more capital ships, and most importantly, MORE members.
I contacted a freelancer by the name of "FireBlade". I proposed to him a deal where he would be paid for the indiscriminate killing of any HF craft, from fighters to capships on a per kill basis. I offered him 100k per kill. He is VERY, I repeat, VERY talented...
In addition, I ditched the Revenue collection idea because I feared that it would tarnish the SA's reputation. NO taxes are to be collected whatsoever from traders.
I will still, however, continue our undying policy of libertarianism and promote a free-market economy. This will be clarified in the following post.
Now...Down to the good stuff. See next post for the SA Modus, Pledge of Alliegance, RP, and whatnot, all general enough for anyone to accept. Of course, ALL of this has to be reviewed by Nusse, since I am only doing this so that he can spend more time in the game, where he is a greater asset than I(Need a new comp..this one keeps slowing down randomly). Nussebull, if you have any problems with it, PM me immediately, and I will correct it. Same goes for all members, as you are all now officers...
100k per kill. We would gladly offer him 2 mil per kill. I'm sure this freelancer will run to the man with more cash in hand. The Hellfire Legion will rule Liberty!
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.

Battle report
Sir,
During a patrol through the California System, the HF cruiser VultureOfDeath was spotted attacking near Los Angeles. As per orders, I moved to engage, although sadly I was unable to do any significant damage to the cruiser. I was, however, able to keep him busy long enough to contact other ships in the area and request their help. Thanks mostly to the invaluable aid of Admiral Greylin of the LSF and a pilot called Valkyrie, we were able to drive the VultureOfDeath back through the Cortez jump hole. Right after he retreated, a couple of other ships (cevolved and Vaporlinx) showed up to assist, but the HF cruiser did not reengage us.
I'm extremely impressed with the willingness of both Liberty Navy and neutral pilots to help deal with this threat. As already mentioned, Admiral Greylin and Valkyrie were especially helpful: they were the ones who did enough damage to the cruiser to force a retreat. My top-of-the-line Vengeance lasers and magma hammers couldn't penetrate his shields past the 80% level. I humbly submit that it would be wise if we make it a goal to get all SA fighters outfitted with anti-capship weapons.
If I've seen anything, it's that when we have enough pilots helping, the HF doesn't stand a chance. And also from what I've seen, there are plenty of pilots out there willing to fight to defend Liberty. We just need to let them know that their help is needed, and they will come. As reported above, one out-of-system communication to Admiral Greylin and one system-wide broadcast for assistance mustered a total of four pilots (besides myself) willing to fight. That is a force to be reckoned with indeed.
