I am in need of some engineering assistance from ALG. It would seem that I have left my Golem alone for too long and it now refuses to start up. I have done the basic operational maintenance procedures that were taught in the operator course, but the specialized systems are too complicated for me to even consider attempting a thorough flushing of the system on my own. The ship is currently docked on Falster Station. Please advise.
Good day to you, I'm Lena Atzenbruck, president of ALG.
I must ask you to pardon our delayed reply. Our organization has been in a bit of disarray lately.
It's true that we don't freely hand out Golems, but as you seem to have followed the proper procedures -albeit before my time- your Golem should, naturally, receive the maintenance that it needs. The vessel should be moored at Dortmund Smelter, and our best team of technicians will have a look at it.
However, I'd like an update on its mission. Who exactly it's serving at this moment, and in what way. I've only released one Golem so far since I took over as president, and I'd like to keep track of them properly.
I hope you've been content with your purchase so far and if we can work this out, hopefully you will be for many years to come.
I am honoured that you should take it upon yourself to handle such a matter. The ship in particular is name the Marsupial, and was previously flying under the IMG| flag. However, as it was not funded by the Guild, when I left the Guild, I took the ship with me. I am now flying it as a part of my own independent group.
Unfortunately, I am unable to bring the Marsupial to Dortmund Smelter as it refuses to even start, and is stuck on Falster Station. I hope ALG can help out by sending some expert(s) to see what the problem is.
"Apparently a wise intern had the idea to transfer the message onto my desk because it kept being bounced and no-one other was replying. Although I'm currently in retirement, again, I still got some ties in the company being a former president of ALG."
"Having said that, apologies for the delay and I've alerted the team to head down to Falster. Tinkering with Golems can be a very dangerous thing so I'd rather know you'll not touch it any further. The repair team will run a full diagnostic analysis on the vessel and will see what they can do about it. If the problems are bigger than anticipated and it's safe to tow the vessel it will be brought to Dortmund for maintenance. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee you anything at this point so for now it's a matter of waiting the analysis."
Hope you're enjoying your retirement. Danke for your assistance in this matter. I was not expecting ALG's top team to be this...busy...that you would have to be involved. I hope it was not too much of a bother.
I will await the repair team on Falster. Hopefully they can find a fix.
